Hello readers from, well, everywhere! This thread invovles my SSRPG character Selina Skylar and will take place all throughout her life. Fell free to PM me with any requests if you want a specific drabble to involve your character or a specific theme. I will try my hardest to accomidate everyone who wants to be involved.

27. Owl
Pre-Hogwarts

Selina stood outside the window of the small owl shop as still as a flower on a cold winter’s day, too afraid to move in fear that the scene would collapse of the owls’ going about their business. Her mother walked on. Halfway down the street Sophia noticed that her small seven year old was not beside her. When she finally located her daughter she was standing outside the owl shop.

“Why are you looking at them, sweetie?”

Like the most natural thing in the world she replied, “I’m just learning how to fly, Mommy. I’m learning how to fly.”

21. Veela
( Dedicated to SweetPea and her character Violet LaVeela )
Pre-Hogwarts

Selina walked into the ice cream shop. There she saw a girl about her age with the oddest shade of violet for her eyes. In a moment of bravery she walked over and introduced herself, "Hi, there! My name's Selina. Sorry if this sounds odd, but your eyes are beautiful."

"I'm Violet!" The girl giggled, "and I'm a Veela hence the eyes."

"You're a full veela? I've never met one before."

"I'm half, my Mom is. You, uh, want to sit down?" For some unknown reason Selina nodded and sat down. She was pulled in like fate had it's hand.

68. Roar
Pre-Hogwarts

Jake threw his head back in laughter as his three year old daughter ran around on the Pitch. Her red curls bounced behind her as she clawed at the air and growled for all to hear.

"ROAR!" Selina said in her father's face, "Did I scare you, Daddy?"

He pulled her up on his lap and kissed the top of her mess of curls, "Of course you did, sweety."

The little blue eyes looked up and whispered, "I'm gonna be a lion just like you!"

"Oh I don't know, Sel. Are you brave enough?"

Her response was one word, "ROAR!"

92. Chocolate
(Dedicated to sweetpinkpixie and her character Kurumi Hollingberry)
Post-Hogwarts

Selina was in the off-season for Quidditch. Her father had always made the life of being a Professional athlete look so easy. But the constant pestering and questioning on the streets made her miss the safe arms of Hogwarts.

She snuck into Honeydukes trying her hardest not to be noticed. The redhead bought the Chocolate Frog she had been craving. Opening up the card she saw the familar face and violet eyes of a girl she once knew.

Under her breath she said, "Way to go, Kurumi."

53. Chase
Post-Hogwarts

"Watch where you're walking," the slender twenty-one year old redhead retorted.

The man who had collided with her in Diagon Alley turned around and returned, "How about you watch where you're going?"

Selina could feel her face growing red with anger, "Excuse me? Is that anyway to talk to a lady?"

"I see no lady."

Selina snarled, "Watch yourself."

Then the man reached forward and grabbed her neck. In one swift motion his lips crashed against hers. Selina stood in shock.

He pulled away just as quick and said, "By the way, I'm Chase."

Breathless she said, "Pleasure, Selina Skylar."

51. Thestrals
Pre-Hogwarts

The bouncy curls of the little eight year old girl cascaded down her back. Against the back drop of her black mourning clothes Selina's hair jumped out. She was confused as to why she was there with all of the crying adults and why her mother was looking so lost. The baby sized coffin began to float down to it's resting place under the earth.

Her blue eyes traveled around the graveyard until they met the black figure that was watching her with great intensity. "Daddy? What is that thing?"

He wiped his tears and bravely said, "A Thestral, darling."

34. Parseltongue

Hogwarts

"I hear whispers." The frightened raven haired and fair skinned girl whispered. Selina looked up from her divination book and rolled her eyebrows.

As she plunged back into her book she returned, "Maybe it's the crazy person in your brain."

"No, seriously. Hear me out. It's like I can't really make out what the words say. The words sound like a hissing on a tire, but if I listen I hear English in the hissing."

Selina looked up and joked, "Maybe your a parseltongue?"

"Not funny! That would be terrible. I would have to be related to Slytherin!"

"You are."

57. Gape
(Dedicated to Macavity and her character Simon and Moviegoerkinz and their character Rafe)
Hogwarts

Simon instructed his Quidditch their plays down on the Pitch during practice. His team was good, but not the most focussed group. And they were not going to beat Hufflepuff on raw talent.

"Alright guys, knock it off. Rafe that means you too!" The laughing team all stifled their giggles as Simon got serious, "Come on guys this is my last year as Captain, time to be the team I know you are!"

Selina gaped at Simon, he was so brilliant.

"Uh, Selina? You may want to close your mouth before a fly gets in there." Rafe joked. Selina blushed.

89. Past
Post-Hogwarts

Selina was standing at the alter. When she was younger she promised herself that she would only marry a man who she would fight with to keep things interesting. Now here she was all in white marrying the sweetest and most caring man in the world. Life was odd.

She knew when she was eleven and she had a vision of herself in a wedding dress that she would get married. But since then she had dreamed of a very different type of man. Yet when the past had become the future Selina was glad it was him.

"I do."

90. Present
Hogwarts

In the midst of the vision the redhead traveled down the aisle and met a pleasant looking man. There was something in his eye that sparked mischief. He was the type of man Selina would marry, a little fire.

Then her vision was gone. She was certain now that she would get married eventually. It would be like she had always dreamed.

He would be athletic, smart, fiery, and never shy or timid. The pair would always argue in her fantasies and make up in the most passionate ways.

Yes, that was what her future held. It had to be.

91. Future
Pre-Hogwarts

A three year old Selina jumped off her Aunt Jennette's lap.

"I no wanna hear that one! Babbity Rabbity!"

Jennette sighed and said, "No Sel, Cinderella is good. I know it's a Muggle story, but it has Princesses!"

"No dressys! Action!"

"Selina you will listen to this story!" Jennette commanded. For the next five minutes Selina listened to the tail.

When Jennette was done Selina asked, "Who want to marry me?"

"A lot of boys baby."

"No, I not pretty like Finder-Kelly!" Selina pouted.

"Yes you are. One day in the future, I promise baby, a boy will love you."

71. Untie
(Dedicated to McFeisty and her character Kyle)
Hogwarts

The first year was sitting in the Great Hall with a pout. Kyle caught sight of this and sat down beside the redhead. With a sigh she asked, "Okay, what's got your wand in a knot."

Selina was about to reply when she stopped in confusion, "What did you just say?"

Like the most natural thing in the world Kyle responded, "I asked, 'what's got your wand in a knot?'"

Angrily Selina said, "Nothing, just dumb people making me mad. I mean seriously who-"

"I don't want to know. But whatever's got your wand in a knot... untie it."

23. Telescope
(Dedicated to neaped and his character Hugo)
Hogwarts

Selina watched Hugo fumble with the telescope. Every time he tried to clean the lens the telescope would sway. It was becoming an oddly impossible task.

"Here let me help you." Selina offered.

But Hugo replied, "No, I can do this. I'm seventeen years old. I have to do this sucessfully before I graduate or I've learned nothing."

"Okay."

So Hugo went back to work got the telescope under control. He cleaned the lens to perfection. In victory he threw his arms out and hit the telescope. The telescope rebounded and hit Hugo in the face... he was out cold.

81. Depression
Hogwarts

The sixth year Selina wandered throughout the corridors of the fifth floor. She had just witnessed her boyfriend kiss another girl. It was strange that she was not sad or mad or even hurt- it was like a void of feeling. Yet, in the void there was something twinging in her lack of feeling like a rip and tear inside. When she was younger she had always wondered what it would be like to have a fairytale romance. Now, that it had all fallen around her, Selina was left with only the fractured fairytale that had once consumed her childhood.

44. Ford Anglia
Post-Hogwarts

Selina gripped the handle on the inside of the car. For Violet's twenty-first birthday Elektra had brilliantly suggested to teach Violet how to drive a car, an old Ford Anglia. If the trio's days at Hogwarts had proved anything Violet was not the most gifted at Muggle conventions...

"Violet watch out for pedestrians! Pedestrians!" Elektra screamed from the front seat.

"I only see people! Where are the pedicures?" Violet panicked.

"Pedestrians are people! YOU DOLT!"

"NOT A NICE WORD!" In her anger Violet merely pressed on the gas harder.

Selina prayed and muttered in the speeding car, "Oh sweet Merlin."

26. Quill
(Dedicated to SweetPeea and her character Violet)
Hogwarts

Violet looked very pretty in her light yellow bow. She was always immaculately dressed and whenever she moved to do anything in class it was similar to a dance move. So as the little first year sat in class writing with her swan feather quill it moved across the paper like a ballet.

Unfortunetly the dance was running across Selina's nose. The fellow first year tried not to sneeze as the quill tickled her nose, but it was becoming increasingly difficult.

"Violet... Violet... Oi, Violet! Cut it out."

"Beauty is pain."

"On my face?"

"Whatever it takes." Violet smiled brightly.

98. Pajamas
Post-Hogwarts

Selina sat nervously in her bed waiting for her new husband to join her. The two had never lacked anything to talk about and she was never nervous, tonight was a different circumstance.

Then the bathroom door opened and he walked. He stood in the doorway and then with a deep breath took his place beside Selina in the bed.

The silence enveloped the room and the two sat there afraid to talk... tonight was the night.

Selina's new husband finally spoke up, "I like your pajamas."

It broke the ice and Selina laughed a hearty laugh, "I love you."

60. Joke
Pre-Hogwarts

"That wasn't nice, Nathan!" The little five year old Selina Skylar yelled at her twelve year old cousin.

"So? You're a girl, what are you going to do about it?" Nathan bragged. His naive child-like sensibilities still lead him to believe that because Selina was a girl and little that she would not retaliate.

Very unhappy in her now muddy dress Selina wanted to cry for her Daddy. Then she got an evil glimmer in her eye, "Now it's time for my joke!"

She pulled back her leg and kicked him...hard... right where it hurts. He wasn't very nice.

39. Duel
Post-Hogwarts

Selina began to fall asleep in her Muggle course. After Hogwarts Selina went into Professional Quidditch, during the off-season she enrolled in Muggle University classes. How she regretted her choice. She was currently catching up on much needed sleep from a little bit too much fire whiskey in her low energy class.

"Cui labella mordēbis? Ms. Skylar what does that mean?"

Selina picked her head up and said bluntly, "Whose lips will you duel."

"Correct and try not to fall asleep in my class."

Her only response was her head back on her desk where she dreamed of Quidditch.

35. Pureblood
Post-Hogwarts

"Are you pureblood, Mommy?" The little redheaded girl questioned.

Selina was taken aback and asked, "Where did you hear that?"

"At Aunt Elektra's house!"

"Of course," Selina muttered under her breath, "Darling, what you need to understand is that what people say about your blood doesn't matter...

"In the Magical World you know how some kids parents aren't Wiazrds? They are Wizards, but both or one of their parents aren't, so they're seen with less Magical Blood."

"Like a mut!"

"Kind of, but that's not a nice thing to say. Baby, be yourself and your blood won't matter."

87. Plaid

Hogwarts

"NO!"

"Selina!"

"NO!"

"Selina!"

"I said no!" Selina snapped at Kurumi.

"Please just try it on for me."

"I regret admitting I'm Irish," she growled.

"But Selina," Kurumi whined, "I did work to make it authentic for you! The least you can do is try it on!"

"Let me think about that... no!" Selina affirmed.

Cue the puppy eyes Kurumi did so well.

"Fine! Give me the darn thing!"

Kurumi did as she was told as Selina entered the closet. After a few minutes she stomped out of the closet in the kilt.

"Oh yeah, you look good in plaid."

54. Brave
Hogwarts

Selina could feel the cold silver across her throat. It tickled and played with her skin. She should have been scared by the contact, she was unafraid. This was her destiny- she always knew it.

She closed her eyes and awaited the person who stood behind her to finish their deed. Time seemed to press on with the silver not yet finishing it's purpose. The the silver bearer was playing with her.

Selina whimpered, "Just do it already."

"You make it very hard for someone to give you a present."

Selina felt the clasp of the necklace fasten.

"Happy anniversary."

31. Dress Robes
Hogwarts

Selina smoothed out her dress robes and looked at the mirror. The person who reflected back to her in the mirror looked...

"Beautiful," Violet cooed, "You look beautiful, Sely."

Those words were so foreign. From the time she was young the redhead was one of the boys. She played Quidditch had never been told by anyone that she was beautiful. But today, the seventh year felt beautiful. A small smile graced her lips.

Violet fixed her hair. Selina looked back at Violet and her face fell. No she was not beautiful. VIolet was, Selina was just one of the boys.

26. Muggle
Dedicated to meganelizabeth and her character Chris
Hogwarts

Selina stood in the rain beside Christopher and Violet. The rain was cold and unforgiving but it did not cease, in fact in just kept moving forward and moving on. But Chris did not move and she was afraid he would never move forward from this storm.

Violet cried lightly but he was unmoving, untouched by her grasp. His stare was cold and ghostly.

When it was over Violet squeezed his hand and left with the crowd. Christopher looked down.

"Chris?" Selina said lightly.

"He's dead...I couldn't save him. With all of my abilities..."

"Chris, he was..."

"A Muggle."
