Haii! So, I'm Lisa and this is my second try at writing drabbles (the first one can be found here, even though, they have never been finished). These drabbles are about my former School and current Ministry RPG characters Jeremy and Alysson Zookara, who happen to be brother and sister (duh! *eyes title*). There might be frequent mentions of their older brother Cooper, too. Have fun. Hope you enjoy. ^___^

81. Depression

"I don't wanna say I told you so, but-" Alysson was, however, cut short by her oldest brother half way through.

"Al!"

"What?! I'm only trying to-"

"Shut up!"

"Oi, Coop! I'm only trying to help here."

"Well, OBVIOUSLY, it's not working!"

At this they both glanced over to the only person in the room who had been absolutely quiet throughout this conversation. Jeremy was just staring off into space, his eyes unusually blank.

"Aww, but look at him, we have to do SOMETHING." Alysson said while reaching for Cooper's hand as they both continued to gaze at their brother.

2. Muggle Studies

"Muggle Studies?!" Alysson tried hard not to snort upon hearing what his brother was off to do. "You serious?!" Jeremy, in turn, glared at his sister who was obviously making fun of his reason to move to Britain. "'course I'm serious. I'm off to teach Muggle Studies at Hogwarts. And yes, that's the reason I'm going to move to Britain." He swiftly averted his eyes towards a nearby book as he felt his sister's gaze bore into him. She knew. Of course she did. Alysson always knew everything.

She KNEW this was not why he wanted to move to Britain.

36. Muggle

"I'm fine. Seriously!" A 13-year-old Cooper gave his parents an irritated look before returning his gaze to the TV. On her fourth birthday a few days ago, Alysson had tried - and succeeded - to magically get the birthday cake off the top of the refrigerator. Making Cooper the only non-magical child in the family. And he was totally okay.

Which his parents seemed to doubt. "Jer, tell them, I'm fine." He poked his 'twin' next to him who was absolutely engrossed in their favorite TV show. "Yeah...what he said." "See?" Cooper gave his parents a triumphant look.

96. Socks

"I told you not to go near that shop!" Jeremy had found his sister sitting on the floor of their apartment amidst what seemed to be a million pairs of...socks. "But...they all looked so pretty and I needed a pair, or two, and I couldn't decide so I, well, I-" Alysson guiltily glanced down at the sock wonderland surrounding her. "-you bought them all." Jeremy finished her sentence with a groan. "And now you need help deciding which to return." As always.

"I bought you socks too?" Alysson offered with a small smile, causing Jeremy to sigh defeatedly.

93. Chicken
For Lottie.

"It was a simple task." Jeremy was telling his 12-year-old sister Alysson with a sigh. "Go out, choose two or three new chicken for the farm, pay, then come back in." The girl grinned down sheepishly at the chicken surrounding her and her brother. Only it weren't two or three but rather what seemed to be over a dozen. "What are we supposed to do with-" Jeremy paused as if trying to count the chicken, gave up half way through, though. "-that many chicken?!" "But...I couldn't decide. They all looked at me like-"

"They are CHICKEN, Al."

49. Yule Ball

Who to chooooooose?! That was the question Alysson had been annoying her two brothers with over and over again. Now, she was trying on one of the many dresses she'd bought for the upcoming Yule Ball. "You know, I think that dress would go really well with Joe." She looked up from her reflection in the mirror to glance at her brothers behind her. "What do you think?" Both men eyed each other briefly before starting to nod vigorously. "Yes, pick this one." "Let Joe escort you." Anything which saved them from more of their sister's dresses.

"Or I cooooooould-"

30. Feast

Jeremy had decided to have one last butterbeer at the Leaky Cauldron before apparating home for the annual Zookara Christmas Feast. Which was where he had run into none other than...his sister. After only a few moments of resistance, Alysson had finally admitted that she had moved to Britain last month too, to make sure that he was okay. "For the last time, I. Am. Alright." He rolled his eyes as if it were completely impossible for him to be anything but.

"You. Are. Not. But it's understandable. I mean, she-" Alysson was interrupted, however, by her brother.

"Don't."

75. Yodel

It's Christmas Eve, 2072. The time for joyful family gatherings and Christmas Turkeys. As it happens, also the Zookara family has come together to celebrate this important event.

However, upon taking a closer look, something is off. The parents are whispering among themselves, constantly throwing worried glances towards two of their children, Jeremy and Alysson, who are obviously giving each other the silent-treatment, paired with the occasional glare in the other's direction.

Their third child, Cooper, finally gets up. "I could yodel something for you."
"Don't you dare!" But there is a small smile playing around his siblings' lips.

15. Room

6-year-old Alysson was confused. It was nice outside, so she had decided to ask her two brothers to play hide and seek with her. First room she entered was her middle brother Jeremy's. Only what she found there was not something she had been expecting. Jeremy was there alright. But he wasn't alone. No, there was this blonde girl and it looked like they were trying to suck each other's face off. It looked...strange. Only when she had asked if they needed any help, had they jumped away from each other as if they had been electrocuted.

9. Defense Against the Dark Arts

(continued from 15. Room)

This was why Jeremy, looking unusually flushed, apparently owed his little sister an explanation. "We were just-" Yes, now how to explain to a 6 year old that him and Anna hadn't in fact been doing anything dangerous. "Yes, what were you JUST doing, Jer?" Great, now Cooper had joined in on their conversation too, a teasing smirk plastered across his face.
"It...was something for school." While Alysson's face immediately lit up in hopes to hear something about school, Cooper raised his eyebrows innocently. "What subject? DADA?" This was when Jeremy threw a pillow at his brother's head. Hard.

27. Owl

After unsuccessful resistance on Jeremy's part, he had agreed to buy an owl to communicate with his parents while at school. As always, Cooper had come along to the owls shop to help his brother pick one. Which was how they had ended up amidst about 324 owl cages, along with their sister. While the 'twins' tried to stay away from the creatures as far as possible, little Alysson was peeking into every cage excitedly.

"Now, which one, Al?" Jeremy finally asked his little sister, in hopes to get out of here as soon as possible. "All of them." "AL!"

69. Slap

Jeremy was reading the words over and over again, simply refusing to believe them. There had to be some kind of mistake. But deep down in the pit of his stomach he knew it was true. The realization hit him like a slap in the face. But somehow he didn't feel any pain. No, he just felt...nothing. Empty.

Without another word and still clutching the letter tightly in his hand, Jeremy floo-powder'd back home where his sister was already waiting for him. Her face just as expressionless as his. Her hands also clutching a letter, just like his.

50. Boggart

(continued from 69. Slap)

Alysson didn't even look up upon Jeremy entrance. She just kept on staring straight ahead at the letter, reminding Jeremy of how he must have looked only a few minutes ago. Without saying anything he joined her where she was standing - right in the middle of the room - and hugged her tightly against his chest. A single sob from deep inside of her escaped his sister's lips. Nothing more, however. No tears. Nothing. They were still in shock.

It was just like that time Jeremy had had to confront that Boggart at school.

Only this time his Boggart was real.

100. Homework

Jeremy was late for Quidditch practice. Or was going to be if he didn't leave right now. Grabbing his bag, he started to run downstairs, trying to put on his jacket at the same time.

"JEREMY!!!!"

Already half-way out the door, Jeremy stopped dead in his tracks. Alysson sounded upset. Almost as if she was in serious trouble. He immediately dropped his bag and ran back inside, up the stairs again and into his sister's bedroom. And there she was, smiling up at him innocently, her Charms textbook open in front of her. "I need help with my homework."

40. Spell

"Al-"

Before Jeremy got to say any more though, he was cut short by a jinx flying his way. Quickly ducking behind a table, he turned his head just in time to see the spell hit the kitchen wall. "Listen, I just-" Once again he didn't get very far but this time it was his own fault. Upon raising his head to peek around the table, Jeremy couldn't help but laugh. Alysson looked pretty mad.

Maybe exchanging the filling of the Oreos with cream-cheese hadn't been such a good idea after all.

No, actually it was totally worth it.

7. Care of Magical Creatures

"He teaches what?!" Jeremy stared at his sister, a rather suspicious look on his face. "Oh, drop the older brother act. It doesn't suit you." Alysson teased him a little half-heartedly, rolling her eyes at him.

In fact, she usually didn't mind him being protective of her but this was starting to get a little ridiculous. They weren't going to get married. They had been on ONE date, planned by this matchmaking service person.

"All the Care of Magical Creatures professors at Hogwarts are slightly insane." And Jeremy KNEW that.

A certain Maya Saylen was perfect proof of that.
