SEMINAR 1: Yeti Challenge :: The Abominable Snow Run
An hour and a half after the school's lunch break, Healer Reed who was decked in his full winter gear paced back and forth at the Entrance Hall with his hands tucked behind him as he waited for the students to arrive. As he reviewed the activity in his mind, he could not help but grin once in a while, thinking that he never imagined that he will be back in Hogwarts to teach, and execute health and wellness activities.
While the man paced back and forth, Roscoe and Bumi, his Newfoundland dogs sat directly in front of the colossal doors and watched their master, waiting for his command. Both are wearing their scarves and first aide jackets, ready to take part in the activity.
If you’re here for the Yeti Challenge, come on down in your full winter gear and wait along with the others. We will start the activity shortly.
OOC: Welcome to the first Healer’s Health and Wellness Program! Post your charries joining Healer Reed and we will start in approximately 12-24 Hours from this post. Please read our RULES, before posting. Thank you!
GIANT SNOW STAIRS: Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch. The run towards the first obstacle isn’t an easy one. The snow on the ground is quite thick, burying your feet, ankle deep! But just a few metres ahead, you see giant snowballs piled up one after another, making it a decent snow mound. Climb it and go on to your next challenge;
INTO THE YETI’S HOLE!: Ahead are four rows of low triangular trusses, each stretching about 4 meters in length. Get on all fours and crawl your way through to the other end!;
GET A SNOW TUBE AND DRAG UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE: To get to the next course, you have to drag a miniature Christmas tree up a smaller mound! Trust me on this. You need the extra altitude!
SLIP AND SLIDE SNOW TUBING!: Fasten your Christmas Trees, ride the snow tube, and slide your way down to the starting point! A 500 meter snow slide should be enough to keep the blood pumping!
TEA AND COCOA!: Once you reach the end, you will see that a table has been set up for you to take you pick: TEA or HOT CHOCOLOATE? Oh and there’s a couple of zinc lozenges too. Best to get a few if you feel like you’re going to have a cold!

"Stick out the back of your hand Prefect Salander. And if they don't back away, you may pet them." But to be honest, the two were very keen to know this new student. Roscoe had his front paws against Tenacius' chest and inspected his curly hair.
<snip>
A minute later, River went back to where his dogs were and clapped his hands twice to get everyone's attention. "Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to the first Healer's Seminar. To those who still don't know me, I am Healer River Reed, Hogwarts' resident school nurse." He gave a brief pause to breathe, and then continued. "Now, I was told that activities such as this one has not been done for quite some time now, or not at all." and if he remembered it correctly, they didn't have this sort of thing when he was still a student. "Now, I want you to remember that the topics I have lined up for you this term aren't entirely about hardcore Healing. Considering our setup for today, I wish to address some other concerns that are equally important to you aside from learning some and all spells." River encircled the group, and wondered who among them will survive the run. "With that in mind, I am happy that Professor Hirsch is here with us. He is a clue, after all." Sorry to put you in the limelight Roderick, but River can assure the man that his presence would greatly inspire everyone.
"Now tell me, what do you think is important in spell-casting? Particularly in duelling?" River stood opposite where the professors were, and waited for some of them to give an answer. "Remember, this isn't Charms or Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Aside from knowing and mastering a long list of spells, what else should be in your arsenal as a witch or wizard?"
OOC: Seminar One is now in session! Please do not post your characters arriving late, however, you are more than welcome to still join! Just post your character as if they were there all along. We'll move the discussion in 12-24 Hours after this post. Thank you!
Ohhh hold the back of his hand out? Okay--
Whoah puppers not only NOT backed away but now there were paws on him and sniffing his hair. The Curly Top laughed a joyfully ebullient laugh, then rubbed his fingers against the back of Roscoe's ears and head "Thats a good boy!" he beamed. He loves them already he does.
And now they were starting. The Healer asked a really good question. Tenacius was silent for a moment, because his first thought was spell knowledge and the Healer took that out of the options. So what else is important? He listened to Leon and then to Char, both make really valid points there. Hmmm what else can he say?...
Oh heres a thought "Well Sir, what about willpower?"

Gaston stood a little bit away from the group to make room for as many people as possible, but he slowly made his way through the crowd, taking extra care not to bump into anyone, as he saw Rosalyn and sidled over to her. He hoped she would still recognize him in all these layers, his hood up, and his scarf covering most of his face. Only his bright blue eyes shone out from under his hood. He gave Rose a quick loving glance before adjusting his scarf so he could greet her properly. Greeting were also given to Kay, Roderik, and River.
So the dogs were here too? That made Gaston happy; he liked the dogs... or at least the one he'd already met. He assumed the other one must be just as friendly. "Hey there. Remember me?" he whispered, giving each of the dogs a little pet on the head before returning to stand with the other professors. He listened as River called the group to order and asked a question. Several thoughts ran through his mind as to what the answer might be... strength? Endurance? At least some level of agility? But he decided to let the students answer instead. He still wasn't sure exactly what they were doing today, but he was willing to help River in any way possible. It was only fair that her return the favor since River had helped him and Rosalyn.

''Wouldn't miss it, River!'' Kay grinned at her friend. More staffers were out to support River which was great. "Hello, Roderick.'' She smiled and yet again wondered where Rose was. Possibly she and Gaston were being all lovey dovey. The thought made her want to laugh. But think of the other Musketeer! There she was. "Hi, Rose. I thought you weren't going to make it. Hi, Gaston.''

Kay bounced a bit on her feet as more kiddos arrived and the time to get started edged ever so closer. When River got started, she listened to him closely. Then the question was given and she thought about the answer but decided to stay quiet. Why ruin the fun for the students?
Instead, the Muggle Studies Professor turned her attention to them.
Etta beamed at the professor's words. Hey, he seemed super nice. She made it a point to introduce herself to the dogs later on since class had already begun. And she'd noticed that other professors were here as well? OOOOOH? Interesting. She wondered why.
ANYWAY. Back to the question. Uhhh. "To know what your opponent is like?" The girl answered, pushing a few strands of hair back from her face. That made sense, right? She thought that was important. Also, when does the fun start?

Camilla gave a warm smile to all the staff and students as well as quiet 'hellos' when she had arrived. The seminar had a very nice turnout and she was glad she was able to drop in and not only support her fellow staff and friends but partake in the event as well. She was sure this was going to be interesting.
She had greeted River and the pups as well smiling softly at them and whispering about how Bonsai had wanted to come along. It was like the cat knew exactly where she was going and he had wanted to see his friends. With a promise to let him see the dogs later on Cami had left her cat behind in her office.
Slipping up beside her cousin, Cami gave Kay a gentle nudge to alert her of her presence. See, she had made it. River had begun the seminar in which she kept silent allow the students a chance to think of the question. There would be plenty of time for her to voice her thoughts later if need be.

LOOK AT THEM DOGGIES! As soon as Roscoe - what a pretty name - starting rolling on the floor, Daisy crouched down and started petting its fluffy belly. RUB RUB RUB. "Such a good boy, Roscoe!!" She chuckled happily at the canine before turning to Bumi. "You're a good boy too, Bumi!" AAAH, there were so many dogs in Hogwarts now!!
Healer Reed then asked for their attention and Daisy stood up and went to stand with the other students. Right. He was talking about duelling now, which definitely wasn't what Daisy had been expecting from a seminar with the Healer. See, the problem was Daisy wasn't really a duelling type. So as her classmates answered, she frowned thoughtfully, wondering what would be important to her in case she ever had to duel. "The ability to run away fast!" She offered with a cheeky grin after raising her hand. Right, so that was definitely not the right answer but look - that would be important to her.
Also, Daisy was definitely keeping an eye on those professors. Shouldn't they be answering too???!! Not so easy on the other side, EH?
Side eye.

.... She could feel the Healer eyeing her, but Olivia quickly averted her gaze towards some of those already gathered around the Entrance Hall; not wanting to acknowledge that anything was the matter. Nope, she was fine to participate today... And she was present. So, that's all that was important, right? No need to alarm her parents. The blonde Gryffindor already couldn't escape the two; given that they were BOTH board members at this bleeding school.
Liv knew that was on purpose, too, which made it leagues more annoying.
Anyway... ANYWAY... Yes, smiles in place, happy energy (kinda)... The promise of fresh air would hopefully be a tonic today. "What about good health, sir?" See? There was some participation going on. No need to fret..... "Keeping your body in the best possible shape to actually withstand spells... Should they make contact, you know?" But also.... "It helps with building your stamina up when you keep active. Like with me... I have a high stamina, and agility, because I've dance ballet my entire life." Or.... well.... 10+ years, but who was counting?

He kept his eyes on the man as he started to speak and he smiled a little at his question, before raising his hand to answer.
"Good reflexes are a must in dueling, as is a fast reaction time as well as being fully aware of your surroundings.. " The older year said with a nod. You could know every spell in the books but if you had bad reaction time, there was no point.
River gestured his hand towards the seventh year, and nodded his head in agreement. "Good point, Master Kennedy. One must act fast, and think fast while in a duel, or in any perilous situation." Though it was a valid point, it wasn't exactly what River looked for. Something that they may have been taking for granted all these years, especially by the senior students, like Leon.

...... giggle.
Hardcore healing? How was that different from healing in general? But this was defnitely up her alley. Some older boy that she didn't know responded with an answer of reflexes and Charlotte nodded enthusiastically along with that before turning her own thoughts to answering the question. As a witch or wizard. Hmmm. So it wasn't exactly about dueling even if Hirschy was there.... and it couldn't just be fitness since that would include muggles right? Charlotte decided on an answer and put her hand up. "An open mind, professor! So you can adapt to new situations, and learn something new whenever there's an opportunity!" Yeah! That would do!
Professor? River grinned at the young Gryffindor, and allowed her to carry on with her answer. For the record, Charlotte's answer would likely be his nephew's as well. Time and again, Jace would argue with him that keeping an open mind would help him survive in certain situations. "And sometimes, defense is the best offense. An open mind would require waiting to see what's in store for you," he then gestured to Leon before continuing, "and if you have good reflexes, your opponent won't stand a chance. I like how you think, Miss Kettleburn." River nodded and moved on to the next student.

Hmm. An interesting answer from a ball of energy named Prefect Salander. "It helps, yes. We don't want spells backfiring now, do we?" River grinned at the very young prefect, and gave all of his colleagues a look.

They all have dedicated their lives to teaching, so perhaps, even in seminars like the one they're having now, was being treated like a class where they have to hold back, and allow the students to answer his question.
Given their age, River had a gut feeling that they would know the exact answer to his question.

And Miss Phillips happened.
"Now that's the answer I'm looking for!" River said, gesturing his hand towards the young Gryffindor, nodding his head ethusiastically. "More often than not, we do take our bodies for granted. Magic is already part of our DNA so there shouldn't be a problem executing spells, however, not everyone was born with a healthy body." the Healer continued giving Olivia a grin. "Excellent answer, Miss Phillips."
River turned to the rest of the students, and tucked his hands behind him. "I can see that Professor Hirsch has taught you well, and I am happy with your answers...especially Miss Phillip's." Surprise? "While there is nothing wrong with running away from your opponent, like what Miss Carden mentioned earlier, it is equally important to note, that you must be physically ready to do just that." the escape would be pretty useless and dangerous if one lacks the energy to do so. "While I am sure that the idea of running away is frowned upon, you need this certain energy so you would able to last a duel a little longer..." he trailed off as he looked at the students, "Or to be able to execute powerful spells if a situation calls for it." he continued, this time addressing the professors at the back.
With a single clap, River was ready to move the seminar to the next stage. "Our activity will require each and everyone of you to run around at least half of the Hogwarts' grounds. All throughout your run, there will be obstacles waiting for you." he said gesturing to the door. "It will test, and definitely improve your Stamina level." River gave everyone a pregnant pause. "Before we head out, let's do a full body stretch to warm up our muscles. We'll start off with our head. And while we're at it, what other activities aside from running, will help improve one's endurance?" River asked as he backed away from the group and started to tilt his head to his right, then to his left. As he finished stretching his arms, he had his feet apart, and addressed the class once more, "Take your time stretching those leg muscles, ladies and gentlemen!" he then bent forward and reached for his right foot, and then his left.
OOC: You guys are awesome! This is the last question for the seminar, and the start of the mini-activity. Post your character answering/doing the stretching activity and we'll move to the next task. I'll be giving everyone another 12-24 Hours to complete this activity. Thank you! ^^

Your health! Gosh why didnt that occur to him? Well maybe he had somewhat an idea by saying willpower but yeah stamina.
And stretches here we go. Tenacius turned his head this way and that, getting those knots out, then bent low on one leg while stretching the other and then reversing it, going with this routine several times. Oh oh oh what else can they do for endurance training? "Sir what about SWIMMING?" He loooooved swimming. Too bad they cant do any of that now what with everything frozen..... Or can they?

Health.. yeah he probably should have figured that one. Leon pushed off the wall as Healer Reed started to talk to them about what they would be doing, running around the school grounds wouldn't be much of an issue, seeing as he ran around the lake every single morning..
Though he was curious about the obstacles that would be presenting themselves!
Ohh warming up! Leon started to stretch his arms as he heard the question and he raised his hand. "Swimming is a good one like Prefect Salander said, as is cycling or hiking. "
Leon rolled his shoulders to loosen them up and then stayed to work on his legs, bending down to stretch them out, he slowly reached for his left foot, feeling his muscles loosen up a bit as he did so.
He did warm ups and cool downs every morning, so his body knew exactly what to do. Though he has skipped this mornings run, he didn't want to over do it!

Carlton was slightly nervous. They were actually supposed to run? That would be a problem. He wasn't a runner at all. Especially not with all the layers he was wearing. But Healer Reed had told him that he could help with heating charms if it would come to that. So Carlton removed one scarf, two jackets and one pair of pants. Which left him about four layers of clothing. He stepped away from the pile of clothes on the floor, smiling to himself. It looked like a person had melted and left all their clothes. He would pick that up later.
Later. Or Flynn would have at him. Eek!
With one layer of clothes less he could actually move and do what was required of him. STRETCH. Carlton didn't answer the first question because Professor Hirsch was standing RIGHT THERE but just moved closer to Liv because of the affection. He felt all the affection towards her. Over the course of the last few months he'd come to depend on her a lot. Too scared to upset any of the professors because THERE WERE SO MANY OF THEM, he didn't say anything. He just stood reeeally close to Liv and started to stretch.
The second question Healer Reed asked however was something he dared to answer. "You could also bounce, sir!" He said happily as he mimicked the Healer's exact movements. His EXACT movements. Because Carlton had never stretched before. "If you bounce a lot then you get tired." Happened to him a lot.
Carlton bounced twice on the spot just to demonstrate what he meant before quickly returning to stretching.
Where was his right foot? THERE IT WAS. He dived down towards it with his hands because that was what the others were doing right?

Blinking a few times, the first year needed to point soooooooomething out to the Healer. "Asburry-Hawthorne, actually, s-s-sir." Yeah, he had a long last name and apparently could have been much longer if mum had added her name to the list. Bentley-Ashburry-Hawthorne...BAH for short.
And of course his newt was in his pocket! Derf never left without Scamander, but everything was totally fine because dad had enchanted all his trouser pockets to keep the creature safe AND not squishable.

Other concerns...LIKE HOW TO DEAL WITH A YETI OBVIOUSLY!
But the first question had him just a tiny bit confused because fire did not seem to be a fitting response to the question. Was fire necessary for spell casting? Not...really...not was it a necessity for dueling so...hmm....
"Not s-s-speaking wiff a s-s-stutter helps-s!"

Wait...yetis? Why were they not talking about them yet? Or were they the obstacles around the grounds? Because...dealing with a yeti would do a whole lot more than just test stamina levels!
"EATING RIGHT!" Derf offered up in response as he bent down to touch his toes. "And eat beets!"

Brian was... not sure if this guy was serious. Was he serious? Really? Because. Uh. This was awkward. He could walk, definitely. Walk fast. Probably. Run, sure, just not for prolonged periods of time. Not because of a lack of lung capacity, he'd run long-distances before. It was more technical than that. There were just a few shortcomings, you could say, on his person.
Discreetly calling the Healer man over, Brian kinda just waited until he'd reached before he lifted his left pant leg just a little. Certainly not high enough for other students to scream at, but definitely high enough to be clear to the man that this leg was made of a metal alloy. And not skin and bone. "As you can see, sir, I'm a foot shorter than most," he smiled a little. Self-depreciation was the best, despite the fact that he was just about average height. "It's hard to walk away from something like this. But I might not run the whole way. Is that okay?"
Because otherwise, he supposed it'd be a good time to go raid the kitchens. He didn't have a free period until rather late today.
RUNNING. And apparently, there were going to be obstacles too. Etta was starting to feel not all that excited about this class already. The girl was pretty athletic and she felt that she could definitely manage a run. But, STILL. And it was so cold! Oh, wait. People were already starting to warm up..Um. Oookay. The girl began to do some warm-up exercises as well... For about two mins and stopped. Yeah, no. She felt way too awkward.
"What about yoga?" Etta answered, raising a hand. This obstacle race miiight be fun, though. Maybe.

Gaston stood back, listening patiently as River replied to the students' answers and elaborated further. This activity had his interest piqued. SO they were running an obstacle course? Well, that explained the winter clothing. Okay, this sounded doable... just as long as none of the obstacles spouted fire.
He followed along with the students as they did the stretching. This strangely reminded him of PE class back when he was still in muggle school... only (he hoped) this time without the bullying. The charms professor listened to the students' answers. Mr. Salander and Mr. Kennedy seemed on the right track. Mr. Lewis's answer was certainly outside-the-box! It made him smile, and he had to stifle a laugh at what Mr. Ashbury-Hawthorne said. He didn't want the little ones to think he was being mean and laughing at them!

Stamina. That meant that Daisy had PRACTICALLY BEEN RIGHT and the fifth year girl bounced proudly on the spot. Honestly, who would've guessed? She wished her brother had been around to witness that. It would be pretty fun to watch his mouth fall wiiiide open at the fact that Daisy almost got an answer right.
She knew she was smart. HAH.
Oh, stretching time! The Slytherin was kind of worried about having to run a circuit in all these winter clothes and BOOTS but she supposed that that was probably the point. Added difficulty and all that. So she took extra care in stretching out her muscles, starting with her neck and ending in her ankles. Warm up was important, that was what a lifetime ten years of playing Quidditch had taught her. "Dancing would also help with your stamina, Sir!" Also, it was way more fun than running. Although she definitely agreed with swimming.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Spell work. Kay was quite happy with her spell casting abilities though she knew exactly what River was speaking about when he looked in their direction. She agreed with him wholeheartedly. Keeping in shape was of utmost important. It was why she would jog and workout ever so often. Stretching? River needn’t ask twice! She began doing so as she listened to the students’ replied.
STREEEEETCH those legs!
Kay couldn’t help but chuckle a little at Derfael’s reply. He was such a cute little one. But yes, beets would help. As for the answers, she was leaning towards cycling. She loved doing that! Hiking too, as she and Cami had planned on doing that when the summer had arrived.

Being a Transfiguration professor Cami was very proud of her ability to do spell work. As for stamina she was big into keeping fit. Cycling, hiking, swimming, all of that good stuff was on her list. So doing some running today shouldn't pose any trouble for her...hopefully. Hearing that there would be some obstacles along the way as well only served in making her smile all the more.
This was certain to be all sorts of interesting. Any student that needed some assistance though could always ask for it. Lending a hand or teaching a spell would be something she was all up for. Maybe there would be use for some transfiguration out on the course?
Cami smiled listening as the students gave their answers. Some of them were very good while one or two were just plain cute. It was time for some stretching and the brunette got right to it. First rolling her head to one side then the other following by moving her shoulders around and then her arms. She lifted her knees as if marching in place before bending to the right and then left touching her toes. When it came to exercising she had this down.
Before long she was ready to get started.

Junebug had already started stretching which meant that she was ahead of the game which also would've been her answer to the first question. Being able to anticipate your opponent's next move was super important and helpful. It was.
Starting with her head and working her way down, the third year did her best to cover all the muscle groups. She knew that running in the cold was hard on the muscles 'cause of lack of heat and she certainly didn't want to be sore for aaaaages after today. That wouldn't be good at all and she had things to do. Healer Reed could rest assured she was taking this stretching business seriously.
"Walking up and down the stairs helps, I think! Lucky we have sooo many at Hogwarts." JUST saying.

They were going to run around half of the grounds? Whilst Harriet didn't think that she was that unfit, she wasn't really sure if she could manage half of the grounds. She walked around a lot. But she didn't go running that often. But she would certainly try. It was about building up some stamina right? Which would mean that if she kept doing it, kept running around the grounds after today she would surely be able to improve her stamina. Maybe that could be a goal? To try and be able to run around half of the grounds by the end of the year. That would help, and it would be a nice new hobby. She needed one that wasn't just art. But right now she needed to stretch.
She tilted her head to the side, gently stretching the muscles around her neck, and shoulders. She didn't want to have sore muscles, and so this stretching was important. She actually concentrated more on that, before answering the question. She wanted to make sure that she stretched probably, so that she wouldn't injure herself when she started to run.
Harriet carefully worked her way down her body, stretching each muscle out in turn. She was just stretching her hamstring muscles out when she raised her hand into the air to answer the question. "Would aerobics help? It kind of looks at all areas, especially like cardiovascular, and strength, which probably should help with overall stamina"

Zoryn didn't know. But everyone sounded like they knew what they were talking about, so she gave HUGE NODS AND SMILES at ALL THE ANSWERS. Except for the one about bouncing because that didn't really sound right.
She did, however, (very slowly) begin to do all the stretching she could. Starting with trying to make herself SUPER tall looking. Reaching for the SKY!!! It was so hard to stretch while wearing SO many layers.
After the reaching thingy, Zoryn didn't really know what to do next. So she just watched everyone else and tried to copy them. It's called using your resources. Zoryn was good at that. Also, if they were running around the whole castle... Zoryn was gonna get a piggyback ride. Mhm.
That was also using resources.

Matt was speechless. That man had called him by his fake CORRECT NAME. And even added a 'Master' in front of it as well. Wow. WOOOOOOOOW. The Gryffindor beamed and knew straight away that was because of Jace. Smart kid, that one Ravenclaw. No wonder he was Matt's friend. "Yes, Master Solo." The fourth year confirmed with a nod of the head, choosing to ignore the fact the healer was also refering to other people as 'masters' too. NEVERMIND, Master Solo was the coolest sounding name of all, mwaha.
Matt was engaging alright with his classmates' answers and all, but. BUT. There was this thing that got in his way. More like a person than a thing, really. A girl, for that matter.
Had he seen her before?? Surely he had... maybe... he just didn't remember. That was the perfect excuse to stare as she played with the two big dogs. He needed to make sure she knew her from some... where...
Nope, he didn't. Matt didn't remember having seen her around at all, so he kept staring at the Slytherin when she stopped playing with the dogs and went to stand NEXT TO HIM.
He laaughedd when she mentioned running as a good dueling technique. Cute. He wondered if she actually believed what she had said.
Oooohhhhh. They were ACTUALLY running! Well done, mysterious-girl-he-didn't-know!! "You got that right!" He said, giving her an elbow nudge and a warm, friendly smile, of course.
Ahem.
Next question? What question? Said girl then mentioned dancing. Ah, right. Another way to improve endurance or something or another. "Jumping rope!" He offered, quickly looking from her to the healer as he raised his hand.
...
Merlin, would he ever have thought a Slytherin could be this pretty?
That was a nice surprise. AND she looked nice even all wrapped up like a Christmas present because of the cold.
Daisy was oblivious. She was also pretty focused on stretching out her legs which probably explained half of it, but all the staring? Nope, gone straight through her head. Well, at first anyway. Bending her right knee forward and extending her back leg, she grinned at the Gryffindor standing next to her when he supplied an answer.
Jumping rope was awesome and he was definitely right! Also, he had definitely noticed when she had guessed the answer to the other question so now she had a witness should her brother not believe her!
Right, switch legs. Streeeeeetch.
What she couldn't help but notice, however, was how motionless the boy was so she turned back to him ... to find him looking at her. OH. Did he not know how to stretch?! "You heard Healer Reed!" She told him in a whisper, standing straight up for now. "You need to stretch and warm up." He was perfectly welcome to copy her if he was lost!

Olly had definitely patted those dogs when he had been allowed to. He even got a bit distracted and missed most of the first question, but then he went back to stand by Char again by the time Healer Reed was giving instructions. They were definitely running. Olly was pretty sure he could do it. He ran with his dog all the time. But he had never ran just to run and he didn't know how fast he could do it. He hoped there wasn't any sort of time limit. The obstacles did sound fun. Interesting, at least. The level of fun would be determined when he actually got to them.
Okay, stretching. Olly could do this part. This was the easy part. He focused on his legs mostly, because that's obviously what would get the most work when he was running. And he actually tried to think of an answer to the question. Ways to increase endurance. That was a pretty easy one. Running was the only thing that increased endurance. "Swimming," he offered. Wait, someone else already said that. "Lifting weights, maybe?" That was mostly for strength but it seemed like it should also be able to help with endurance.

It was nice to see one of her best friends, and Rosalyn only got happier when Gaston arrived. Even though he was covered basically head to toe, she recognized him even before he pulled his scarf down. Beaming, she resisted the urge to grab his hand and settled for a nice greeting. Unfortunately there wasn't much time to talk because the seminar was starting. As the first question was asked, she remained silent as this was something that the students should answer even though she had some ideas herself.
Yep, she was just going to participate in the activity because it sounded like a lot of fun. Hopefully the challenges won't turn out to be too difficult though she had no worries about her abilities. Excited, she started working on a full body stretch, again remaining silent so that the students could answer the question.
