In the event that Healer Murdoch decides you need further care/observation, you will be placed in the Observation Ward. Your stay will be determined on the type of injury you are currently being treated for, but never fear, the beds are comfortable, and the Healer is ready to assist you in any way she can.
OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Murdoch will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the bed, the thread will be reopened.
Visitors are not permitted in the Observation Ward until given express permission from the Healer.

Healer Murdoch entered the first observation room with the girls behind her. "Each of you get on a bed and lay back." She then gave them each a basin. She did not want them getting sick all over the beds and floor.
"So which one of you is going to tell me what it was that got you attacked by spiders? And are you SURE you were bitten by spiders?" Since they had all signed in saying there were attacked. She needed to know what she was dealing with here before she started treating them.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AROUND THIS CASTLE?
Kate drug herself into the room after the healer. She really just felt like collapsing somewhere and sleeping until this pounding heading and severe nausea left her. Get on a bed and lie back? Absolutely no problem whatsoever. Kate climbed into the nearest one and just closed her eyes to rest while she answered the healer's questions.
"It was like a rainfall," she mumbled. "They were pouring down on us like it was raining spiders. I'm a hundred, thousand, million percent sure they were spiders. We'd stopped, because Daisy and Hady walked into a cobweb, and it broke them out in rashes. We were just about to lead them here when the rainfall of spiders came out of nowhere and attacked."
She'd talked so much that her nausea had increased, and she couldn't help what happened next. She leaned over the side of the bed and threw up all over the floor. Third time in about fifteen minutes time. Ugh.

Hady slowly followed Kate into the backroom after Healer Murdoch. Upon being told to lay down on a bed the third year choose the one closest to her and sat herself down on it. Setting her bag beside her she then shifted towards the center of the bed and laid herself down, accepting the basin that was given and placing it at her side as well. She hadn't gotten sick...yet...but having the basin close was a good thing.
She shivered a little as she listened to Kate explain what had happened adding onto it a little bit. "I had cast a 'lumos' after casting a 'scourgify' on myself to get rid of the cobweb I had walked into. That's when I noticed the red bumps and had told the others we needed to go and see you as Kate mentioned. As we all left to do so tons of spiders rained down on us all biting at us." As she spoke the word 'spider' Hady gave a involuntary shudder her dislike of the creatures growing worse and worse. With the light charm cast from her wand she'd clearly seen they were spiders.
As she finished speaking she let her eyes close once more until she either needed to talk again or it was her turn to be looked over. Her hand moved to once more rub lightly at the rash on her hand.

Abby had followed the others into the backroom and lay down on one of the beds and put her bag beside her bed and listened the Hady and Kate explain the situation and felt that she didn't need to add anything else as the situation had been fully explained unless she needed to explain anything her head was pounding her so bad that she was feeling dizzy and sick

Daisy slogged into the observation ward behind Hady and the other two girls. Her poofy hair (courtesy of Hady's Scourgify spell) was listing this way and that, getting into her face and just being a pest. She pushed at it, then began scratching her forehead and neck. She had gotten spiderwebs all over thanks to trying get spiders off and the vomiting before Hady had cleaned them all up. Daisy managed to get to a bed and sat down. "Healer Murdock," she said quietly. "Long time no seee...." She wondered if the nurse remembered her from the incident with Noah's broken leg last year. She hoped so. After all, one would think that boy whining about dinosaur underwear would be hard to forget.
She let Hady explain the situation as the room spun slowly in her peripheral vision. She pressed her hands to her head and then decided maybe lying back would help. She flopped backwards, ballet shoes falling off onto the floor as she laid down. But the lying down didn't help. "Ohh...I think I might get sick again..." she rolled onto her side, curled up in a ball, and started scratching at her arms again.

Well that explained all the damn cobwebs that kept popping up all over the castle. And here everyone had been blaming the house elves for slacking on their cleaning duties.
Oh for the love of Merlin!
Did the child (Kate) not know what that basin was for? Did she not know she was supposed to get sick in that, NOT on the floor? Good thing Cece always had her wand with her. Made it a whole lot eisier to clean up messes like the one that came out of that child. "Please try to hit the basin the next time," Healer Murdoch said as she put it in the girl's hands.
She then turned her attention to Hady. "Where exactly were you students when this happened?" Had they been out in the Forbidden Forest or what? There couldn't possibly be that many spiders in the castle.
Could there?
After putting on some gloves, Cece looked at the rash on the Hady's hands. Never before had she seen anyone get an alergic reaction from spider webs. Which lead her to wonder, what kind of spiders were these? "Try not to scratch. I'll get you something to help with the itch."
She looked over at Abby laying there not saying anything. She would just let her rest for now.
And then there was Daisy. "Hello Daisy. It has been awhile hasn't it." Yes, she vivdly remembered their last encounter. Was she still friends with Noah? If you could even call them friends. "Use this if you're going to get sick." There would be no getting sick on the floor, or on the bedding.
"I'll be right back, don't any of you go anywhere." Not that she expected this sickly looking bunch to get up and do anything.
After a few short moments she returned with supplies in hand. "Okay girls, I'm sure this isn't going to be very tasty but it will help to stop all the sick feelings you''re having." She gave all four girls a vial of the potion to drink down. "Drink it in one gulp, and no spitting it out." If they did she would have to use other means to get the potion into them, and she was sure they wouldn't want that.
She then took a jar out of her pocket. "Now for those of you with that rash, I'll be applying this anti itch cream." That is once they drank their potions.

Daisy took the bowl and hugged it to her chest as she curled into the fetal position. She’d was trying her hardest not to upchuck for a 3rd time. Twice was enough, thank you very much and frankly, if it hand’ been for the Ravenclaw she had helped out of the tunnel, she probably wouldn’t have revisited her lunch the first time (therefore avoiding the second.) Daisy was one of those girls who just couldn’t stand barf and upon seeing/smelling/hearing it she herself upchucked.
On the other hand, it was nice to see that Nurse Murdoch remembered her. Yes, well, Noah tended to have that effect on people and well, Daisy just happened to be along for the ride that time…
Hady appeared to be the only one not affected by nausea and Daisy was perfectly happy to let her talk when Nurse Murdoch asked about how they got bit and covered in the spiderwebs. The wave of nausea passed and she was able to uncurl herself from the ball and slowly sit up. The pail, however, stayed firmly in her lap, held tightly by two hands. Daisy had enough experience (even if it was only the one time) with Nurse Murdoch to know she didn’t like messes or nonsense in her hospital ward. The nurse said something about not going anywhere and Daisy wondered why she had bothered. From the look of things, none of the three girls were in any shape to move.
But Nurse Murdoch was back rather quickly and began passing out vials of potions. Daisy took hers, eyed it wearily, wondered briefly if it was going to taste any good, and then downed it in two gulps. “Song of a banshee…” she muttered trying not to cough and upchuck the potion. If she did, she was sure Nurse Murdoch would just make her try downing the potion a second time or worse…yeah, Daisy didn’t want to think about that.
She placed the empty vial into the basin on her lap and then started scratching at her knee. The potion was starting to help or at least the room had been kind enough to stop weeble-wabbling in her peripheral vision. But now that her stomach and head were slowly feeling better the urge to itch was back with a vengeance and Daisy had no self-control. Itch…scratch…burn…itch….

Well what were they waiting for?
DRINK UP!
It was a good thing Healer Murdoch was there to clean up the mess when Kate had gotten sick. Hady had ended up turning herself away slightly and did her best to focus on keeping herself from doing the same as her younger friend. Between her headache, the room spinning and the painfully itchy bites and rash getting sick was NOT next on her bucket list thank you very much!
Upon hearing the Healers question on where they had been when this happened Hady gave the truthful answer cause really someone needed to know where all these spiders were coming from! "We were in the passageway that leads to Honeyduke's." The one she'd learned about when she was exploring with the Cartographers club last term.
Leaning her head backwards into the pillow she watched Healer Murdoch slip on gloves and look at the rash on her hands. The simple touch made the itching worse but Hady chewed her lower lip silently refusing to scratch at it and make matters worse. She could wait a few moments longer until something was given for the itch like she had just been told.
As the others were spoken to and orders were given that they didn't move from their beds the Slytherin settled back and shut her eyes for the time being. It wasn't very long maybe just a matter of a minute or two before she was being handed some odd looking potion and told to drink it. Without complaint Hady accepted the bottle wrinkling her nose in disgust as she drank the potion in one gulp. Closing her eyes she took several small breaths willing it to stay down. When she was sure it was alright she opened her eyes and set the empty bottle aside with a quiet, "Thank you."
Now all she needed was to wait for the itch cream and rest until things began to work which she was confident wouldn't take very long at all.

Healer Murdoch looked over at Abby just laying there not saying a word after she downed the potion. "Just close your eyes and rest. That potion should clear up that headache and calm your stomach. You'll be feeling better in no time." Hopefully.
Song of a banshee?
Cece knew the potion was going to taste awful, but there was no need for such language. "I'd do my best to keep that potion down if I were you Miss Petrus." Cece had a feeling she was going to be needing all of the potion she had on hand, which meant there was not going to be seconds on this stuff. She did however give her the cream for the bites. "Generously rub this on the bites. It will stop the itching." And hopefully that potion she gave them did its job and counteracted the venom coursing through their bodies.
Slytherin say WHAT!?
They were in the passage to Honeydukes? During a NON Hogsmeade weekend? Hearing this news made the healer's blood start to boil. "We will be having a chat later about you being in places you're not supposed to be in Miss Lynch." But right now she needed to concentrate on getting these girls to feeling better. "Like I told Daisy, apply this generously to those bites. This will stop that itching." The girl needed to consider herself lucky that Cece was even giving her anything to stop the itch. She should make all of them suffer for getting themselves into a situation that could have been avoided.
She then looked back over at Kate. "Do you plan on drinking that potion anytime today or do I need to find other means to get it into you?" Cece was getting to the point that she had no sympathy for these girls. Sympathy was not something she felt when students put themselves in danger by doing things they knew they shouldn't be doing. Like trying to get to Honeydukes on an unscheduled day.
When would these students ever learn that trying to be sneaky just doesn't pay off?

Ugh.
Kate couldn't believe she'd thrown up not once, but TWICE in the last hour alone. She felt miserable and was only half aware of everything the Healer was saying. Could she hit the basin next time? "Yes. Sorry, Healer Murdoch," she mumbled, even though she knew she couldn't have helped it. It had just happened before she'd had any time to prepare.
Kate's stomach flipped, causing her to rest her head in her hands. She just wanted to sleep. She was only vaguely aware of the Healer handing out a potion, and when she was asked twice to take it, Kate finally looked up. "Sorry," she mumbled again, and then she accepted the potion and drank it.
"Thank you," she added, finally starting to feel better. At least, now she didn't feel like she'd throw up any second now.

Daisy applied the anit-itch cream generously over her hands, forearms and ankles. She even rubbed some on her face just for good measure knowing she had gotten some webs on there too. As she did so, she listened to Nurse Murdoch tell Hady they were going to have to chat later and mentally winced. Daisy had shown up in the tunnel by accident, one wrong turn to many. The other girls? She couldn’t say how they had gotten there…
Her stomach felt better and her head was no longer hurting. “Um…nurse?” she asked as she continued to rub her arms (the itching hadn’t stopped just yet, but had lessoned significantly). “I’m feeling better. Can I go?” The last thing she wanted was for Noah to show up and start making a fuss. Word traveled fast around Hogwarts and never any faster than when someone was in the hospital wing. She’d done a good job of avoiding the boy all year and wanted to keep it that way especially since Noah would probably no miss a chance to gloat about her having been hurt/sick.

Hady laid quietly on the bed after drinking the disgusting potion that was supposed to make her feel better. Like her parents had always told her usually the worst a medicine/potion tasted the better it worked. Which was all good with her.
She listened quietly to what Healer Murdoch was telling her friends until she was once more being spoken to. It didn't take no rocket scientist to know her Head of House wasn't happy with her and it took a second for her to realize just why that was. And there it was. It wasn't a Hogsmeade weekend therefore she shouldn't have been in that corridor. Why exactly she wasn't sure as she was just walking through it but it was probably just the fact that she could continue on to Hogsmeade if she choose. Which she wouldn't! Sighing softly the brunette nodded her head. "Yes Healer Murdoch," Hady replied quietly. Whatever punishment she got she'd cope with it.
With a quiet "Thank you" she accepted the cream that was handed to her and began to rub it on her arms, face and hands. Basically wherever the bumps and bites were. Keeping to herself and not saying anything more she laid her head back and relaxed until she felt a lot better. Good thing for her it didn't take very long at all.
"I'm feeling a lot better now Healer Murdoch thank you, may I go to the Great Hall now?" She knew that's where everyone was supposed to be heading now. And she was certainly sure when things were taken care of she'd be speaking with her Head of House as well. That she wasn't exactly looking forward to at all.
