The Healer's office is where you're likely to find Cece when she's not taking care of patients. When you enter her office, once you've been invited in, you'll notice a fire going in the fireplace. On her desk you will find a couple of framed pictures of Healer Murdoch and her husband. Right next to those you wll see their wedding picture. Of everything in her office, these photos are the most important to her.
Go ahead and take a seat in one of the comfy chairs in front of her desk. Make yourself comfortable and tell the healer, or your Head of House if you are a Slytherin, just what i is that brings you to her office when you're not ill or injured.
This office is her personal space and she will not be impressed in the slightest if you try to break into her office. The same applies for if you enter her office before she has invited you in. It is rude and impolite, so do not do it. There will be consequences if you do... You have been warned.
OOC Note: This thread, as well as the bench outside the office, is meant for non-patient meetings and greetings. If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients then the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Healer Murdoch sat in the seat at her desk and looked across at the girls. "So tell me, just what it is that brought you by here wanting to do volunteer work?" There was no offering of refreshments or any social chatter. Still was not real happy with the way the students from the house of Slytherin had been behaving this term, Healer Murdoch was not in the mood for such niceties.

Healer Murdoch did not believe a word this child was saying. First off, Cece did know a little about the muggle world, and muggle hospitals letting children volunteer was not something that ever happened. "Do you really expect me to believe that you volunteered at a muggle hospital? You are a mere thirteen years old. There is no way you have volunteered at a muggle anything at this age." Not to mention, the girl has been in a boarding school, so when exactly was it she was supposed to have done this volunteer work?
Honestly, lying about something like this was no way to get on the good side of your head of house.

Cilla looked at Healer Murdoch with tears forming in her eyes.
"There was a time when I was 10 my parents said I should do something during the school holidays. The local hospice rather reluctantly let me, accompanied by me mother, to visit patients and do activities with them. They were usually the elderly and they didn't have anyone."
Cilla didn't like being called a liar. She looked at Murdoch, trying to maintain her composure. "I am sorry that you think I am lying to you but I am not. I did help out somewhat during school holidays. Maybe that is not the type of volunteering that is asked of here. Whatever it was that I did back then, I do still want to help out at the Hospital Wing."
She began to make her way to the door. "I do thank you for your time. I guess this was a stupid idea for me to have. I wish my fellow Slytherin all the best in her volunteering."
Cilla paused hoping that Murdoch would reconsider and that she knew that Cilla was someone whose faults included not being able to lie.

Zhenya sat silently, and listened to Cilla explain her reasons for wanting to volunteer. Zhenya certainly had no experience volunteering, and she wasn't even sure she would be any good, but she wanted to help her mighty house.

I feel terrible at the way Slytherin has started the term, and I wanted to do more than just attend class and do homework. I wanted to volunteer some of my time to the infirmary, or anywhere else that might be happy to have help, to help gain house points for Slytherin." She wasn't sure she sounded very confident, she hadn't really had much to do with Healer Murdoch but was very scared of getting on her bad side. Well, her even badder side.
