Breaking Wind sounds like a romantic-drama!I'm weird.

"Your friend has a temper fraulein. What do you think I should...Mein Gott." The man stopped himself, looking at Ottery's face clearly for the first time. "It can't be. You haven't changed at all." He could not believe his eyes.

"Is there a problem here?" Rick asked, having come down the stairs and hopping to sort the whole thing out.

"Nothing Herr Rick. I think this boy and I know each other, but that's impossible," the handsome Baron began. It seemed that whatever business he had originally had with Rick was not as interesting as his old acquaintance.

"Lemme go you goons," Ottery was complaining, as he struggled to get out of the German soldier's grips.

"If you keep giving them a reason, Ottery, it isn't likely they're going to unhand you." Rick replied calmly as he lit a cigarette. Completely neutral.

"Rick's got a point Ottery, stop acting like an idiot. We've got somewhere to be." Melissa said eyeing him threateningly.

At that Ottery calmed down.

"You're leaving Casablanca?" The Baron asked the girl, though his tone made it clear that he doubted it would happen.

"No. I've still got unfinished business here," Ottery replied taking the words from Mel's mouth, though they were talking about two completely different things.

"I hope you have good fortune with your 'unfinished business' Herr..." the Baron began, feigning not knowing the boy's name.

"Ottery, you stupid..." the insult was cut off by the backhand of an angry German soldier. Rick grabbed Melissa by the arm, rightly judging that she was about to knee the Kraut in the crotch. She turned to look at him angrily, but he gave her a warning look, dame or no, he wasn't about to let her get hurt, even if that meant knocking her out for her own good.

Ironically enough the Baron chided his subordinate in German. Ottery couldn't tell heads nor tails. (T: Yeah, you're vocabulary's limited to Kaputt's and Wienerschnitzel O: At least I'll never starve in Germany =P ). The soldier apologized to Ottery who was wiping the blood from his mouth.

"Yeah, sure, just don't let it happen again." He said condescendingly, and turned to see Melissa giving him a glare that warned at worse things to come, at her hands. He smiled at her penantly but knew he wasn't going to get any sympathy from her.

The Baron and Rick walked off to another part of the cafe, while the Germans took a table and listened to Ella and the band, who had gone on playing, pretending they had not seen anything. Melissa took Ottery by the arm, while he just barely managed to grab the butterbeer that Carl had set for him on the bar.

"On my tab...Carl."

He drank it quickly, as Melissa dragged him out of the cafe, into the busy streets of Morocco.

I'm glad to be here! Like I said before, I would read anything that was written by you. I stick to my promises. (I am a Southern Belle after all lol)

Back to 1920...didn't think I'd just drop the flashback like that did ya'll?

It was evening and we were sitting around a crackling fire when I told Ruben and Ottery about the boy I had thought I'd seen on top of the tower. I had been debating wether or not to bring up the subject at all, since it seemed so silly, it could have just as easily been the heat of the summer day but they were my closest friends and if anyone was going to tell me I was going mental, I thought it best it be them, no?

"This Wolfram fella. Yeah, I know him. Real quiet, even among the Slytherins." Ottery replied.

"You think he's here in the castle?" Ruben asked me curiously.

"Yeah, when we were by the lake I thought I saw him on top of the Astronomy Tower," I answered them back, hesitantly.

Ottery put his hand on my forehead and made as if to see if I had a fever, and I swatted his hand away laughing. He grinned back at me and I blushed. Ruben for the most part was taking me seriously, not that Ottery wasn't but...well lets just say a little more seriously. I could forgive Ottery though, I think I knew what was on his mind just then. I stared into the fireplace, trying to ignore Ottery's stares, and Ruben's complete oblivion.

"Ruben, why don't you go check out the Astronomy Tower and uhm, David and I will...go check out the gardens," Ottery said suddenly, giving me a very naughty grin.

"What? Why don't we all just go?" Ruben asked us completely perplexed.

"I think Ruben's got a good idea." I said, but the boy's were snickering. When I asked them why, Ottery pointed out that I'd turned into a walrus. For the most part I had learned to control my transformations, but...well, sometimes...with really intense feelings...and certain people...

Ottie, I've missed you so much, its not funny really. WEll, lets see, where to begin. The school year began last month, well if we're in oct... then two months ago. I've got bf, been together for 3 weeks. Olivia is getting so big and will start to go to daycare. Lets see, my volleyball team has only lost 2 matches in the whole season. OKay, now that you've read all of that, you might be able to figure out why I haven't been around. I've been here, just haven't had the time to post. Meanwhile back in Morocco...

"Ottery get the hel off that thing!" Melissa yelled.

"Not before I blast that rotten son of..." the sound of his cursing was drowned out by the loud call of a camel. "Out of the way you stupid beast." Ottery yelled at it angrily as it sat in the middle of the street.

Melissa had dragged her reluctant charge into the market streets of Morocco, since they could not leave except under the cover of darkness. She had his wand in her pocket and he sulking, followed her everywhere, until they had reached a fabric bazaar, and there distracted by the fine silks and imported fabrics he had managed to pickpocket his wand back and escape. When Melissa turned around to ask him which color looked better on her, she chanced to see a couple of pigs wearing German soldier uniforms and Ottery missing which automatically meant, something was amiss. The dark haired boy was sitting inside the top hatch of a German tank, when she came around the street corner, followed by three German piggies, and that's when the yelling had begun.

The three of us were walking down the darkened corridors of the castle, Ruben leading the way with the light of his wand while Ottery behind me sulked because we had not split up. In truth he had only wanted to split up so that he could come looking for me. But that's Ottery, more trouble than...well he's worth all the trouble, really, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with him all these years.

"Do either of you know the password to the Slytherin Common Rooms?" Ruben asked, turning around to look at us. I shrugged and Ottery mumbled something indecent I was sure, just as sure as I was that he didn't mean it, but he is a boy taken by his sentiment in that moment and he doesn't really think through what he says and how his words might affect others. That's a good thing, because he's honest, but by turns it's bad too because if he isn't careful he can hurt people.

"We wouldn't know it, Ruben. We're Gryffindors, hardly the kind of people they make friends with," I replied.

"Yup. Well, do you think we should try blasting past the portrait?" He asked in all seriousness.

"Let's just go back, if he's here he's going to have to eat, we can wait for him in the Great Hall in the morning," Ottery exclaimed upset.

"Yeah, you're probably right..." I had begun to say when Ottery had started walking away down the hall ahead of us, not waiting. He was angry I could tell, I could just imagine that pout of his...he's always been so quick to give away his sentiments.

I woke up at midnight to find Ruben half out of his bed, which was normal. He was always dreaming of being a pirate...he swore he had been one in a past life, and I smiled to hear him mumbling something about walking a plank, but when I turned to the left I could see that Ottery's bed was unmade, and his Teddy bear was there pouting, but then again that bear never smiled, it was a curious thing with his arms crossed, sometimes you would find him smoking a cigar. But Ottery was not there. So I slipped on my tennis shoes and in my pajamas I walked out of the dormitory to look for him. I wondered if he was still upset about not having had a chance to talk to me alone, though I well knew what Ottery wanted to talk about. I still wasn't so sure about any of that or maybe I was very sure and I was just afraid it was just Ottery was so demanding sometimes. But it was hard not to love that about him, how demanding he could be.

I walked down the darknened hallways of the castle, as a cat, I reckoned it was best because they can see in the dark. I left the warm confines of the cozy Common Room to go find Ottery, because he wasn't there. It was funny seeing the castle from a completely different perspective, lower and closer to the ground. I wondered if Ottery would be able to tell it was me and not some stray that had wandered into the castle.

Turns out he might not be leaving baseball just the Giants. Oh well.
