This was the igloo Paul would probably spend a good deal of time in. It was very low maintenance and he just...he kind of loved playing in the snow. With a cup of hot butterbeer in hand, Paul made his way to over one of the trunks and curiously pushed it open...oooh.

He wanted to wear it for himself >.> Would anyone care? NO no--these were for the STUDENTS to play with...not him.....sigh.

It was time to write home to Milton for a sparkly cape.

After Benny had met him at the Hufflepuff Barrels, the friends set off for the grounds with Adi excitedly bounding a few steps ahead of Benny. The cold weather was BY FAR his favourite of the year. "Stop being a slow dragon,'' he teased his friend as the approached glorious snow.

He went off to check out the trunks immediately, taking in all the accessories that they could use to dress their potential snowman. But why settle for an ordinary snowman? "Hey, Dragon! Let's build one of your species. I mean a snow dragon.'' How did that sound? It sounded pretty awesome to him! They could comically dress the said snow dragon in the accessories in these trunks. Mhmmm. Dragons didn't wear clothes, after all.

Benny followed Adi out to the grounds albeit slower then his excited friend. He doubted he could keep up with the other seventh year even if he fully tried. Winter wasn't exactly his favorite season, at least as much as it was the badger's, but he gave his effort into it, especially for his companion's sake. Especially now. "Sorry...can't fly," he mused, knowing a dragon's movement on foot was certaibly more of a slower trudge then aerial travel by personal experience.

He had to admit though, the magiked igloos were cool. The staff certainly had done a job for it...trunks of creative material and all. "Sure..." Benny agreed to the idea. One snow dragon coming up for them. The Gryffindor looking around to try and plan the best way to execute. "Guess we should gather all the snow first."

Red nosed and obviously still sick, Yoongi braced the cold outside wrapped in a thick grey coat and a Gryffindor scarf around his neck. Not forgetting the black ski hat on his head and the light pink mittens.

He wasn't one to stay in bed all day though even when he was sick he would continue on with his day as if it was a normal one. He sneezed and rubbed his nose in the handkerchief before entering one of the igloo's that stood on the grounds of hogwarts.

As he stood in the magical warmth, Yoongi smiled to himself. This is much better than outside. Maybe he should spend his time in here and not worry about making a snowman. Let the little ones do all the work, yep. But he wasn't the only one in this igloo though, in the corner standing next to a trunk he spotted the Herbology Professor... "Oh! i didn't know anyone was in here...sorry..should i go or....?" his eyes fell on the sparkly cape and he gasped. Quite dramatically. "I want that" he said, pointing to the cape. "It would so bring out my eyes! right?" not

Adi laughed happily. Of late, he had been even more so happy. Life was good! And just as good with SNOW. It took all his control not to just throw him himself in the snow to make a snow angel and to just feel the cold snow. "Gotta turn you into a real dragon soon again then.'' Hehe. And then Adi could get another ride on him. What fun!

Buuuut... yay! Benny had agreed to a snow dragon! Wheeee! Adi briefly wondered if they could animate the thing for at least a teeny bit but put the idea out of his head for now as he nodded at what was said next. He set right to work. "So. How should the dragon be built? I mean, would his wings be spread? Posed as though about to blow out fire?'' He was letting his friend take the lead on this. Had to switch it up sometimes, right?

DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN??

The Frozen song was stuck in her head as she made her way down to the snowman challenge. These hands were made to build snowmen, and they were brilliant at it.

Noelle looked around as people had already started to build their snowmen. She didn't have a partner yet, but she would start anyway. She took herself to the top of a hill and started forming a ball. And heck yes, she was going to roll it down the hill.

When the ball was big enough, she rolled it to the edge of the hill. Then she pushed it down, and dooooown it went!

"WATCH OUT FOR MY SNOWBALL!!!"

In Paulina's mind winter wasn't complete without building a snowman, so there was no way that she was going to miss out on this event.

Dressed in her warmest winter coat, she entered the igloo. Time to get started! Adi and Benny were already started on their own creation. Maybe she could work with them? It was always more fun when everyone did it together.

"Hey, guys. Can I join you?"

Dot was bundled up to humorous effect, but she thought winter clothing was SO SO SO cute and it made her feel all cuddly to have a hat with ear flaps tugged over her ginger curls and fuzzy mittens and boots... Merlin, the boots were the very best part!

She found cocoa and carried it with her, more as a hand warmer than as a stomach warmer. Look at how much FUN everyone was having, although it seemed like some people were more interested in throwing snowballs than building anything. A snowball fight sounded really fun, actually, but... probably against the rules.

Paul was leaning over, trying not to spill his drink as he looked through the things...just scouting out what else was in here. He stood up, though, when he heard Mr. Hyland's voice.

"The cape?" he held it up and smiled. "I....well it's for decorating a snowman or snow...creation of some sort..but..." he handed it over and winked. "I think it'd be okay for you to wear it...as long as you build something. " he thought the sparkles would quite suite the young fellow. "Yes! Your eyes, certainly." Hehehe. Yoongi was so funny!

He then looked back at the trunk. "I want to try my hand at building a snowman...would you...like to help me?" he asked, flushing. What if Mr. Hyland said NO? He would feel...so bad. But even so, the students might not want to help him...he was a professor....and probably one of the...weirder ones. His lack of self-confidence was showing hard.

Anyways.

Janelle was on a mission. When she heard that there were snowmen to be built, she was on it. For the most part, she was a warm weather girl. She didn't really like the cold weather, but she couldn't resist playing in the snow. Weird, right? Dressed for a blizzard, Janelle arrived, full of excitement.

It looked like she was late for the party. Several students had beaten her there and had already gotten started. Seeing Adi, she gave him a wave. He and most of the other students seemed to have already found partners or formed groups. Janelle spotted a girl (Noelle) working alone and walked over to her. "Hi. Need any help? I'm looking for someone to build a snowman with. I'm Janelle." She had seen the girl around school, but had never officially met her. This would be a good opportunity to make new friends.

Snow.

That's all Hady needed to know in order to get her outside and into the cold. Well probably not seeing as she was known to be out on the grounds no matter the weather. Snow did help though. Oh how she loved snow.

Making her way down onto the grounds in nothing more then some muggle sweatpants, long shirt, hoodie, gloves, and earmuffs and some boots on her feet. Surely her clothing was charmed to keep her warm but she may have looked odd not sporting a coat or scarf like some of her friends. If asked though she would say she was toasty warm.

Slipping into the igloo area filled with large piles of snow her hazel eyes moved over everything. "Hello everyone!," she greeted easily making way for a clear pile of the white fluffy snow. What she would make the fourth year had no idea but that could come after. Hady wasted no time in kneeling down into the coldness and running her fingers through it. Within seconds she was molding the snow together with no real idea of what she was making just yet.

A friend! Dot slushed over to Hady, kicking up snow as she walked and leaving a powdery trail behind her. It looked like Hady already had a game plan, which was more than Dot could speak to, but maybe she'd welcome some company?

"What do you think you'll make? Can I help? I have mad rolling skills." Might possibly be true, or at least there was no way to verify that it wasn't. Dot took another sip of her cocoa and smiled broadly at Hady, willing her to let Dot stay. Please please please?

Even with her full attention devoted to making snow molds that currently resembled nothing Hady didn't miss the voice of the girl coming up behind her. Dot. She knew her fellow snakes voice very well by now.

What did she like she was making? If only she had an ounce of a clue then she'd be getting somewhere. "I have no idea, I was actually just gonna wing it and see what I ended up with," she admitted looking over her shoulder at the red head with a light laugh. "You're welcome to help though I don't mind at all." Maybe together they could come up with something seriously epic. Cause seriously they were Slytherin's and girls so whatever they made would be awesome!

Hady tapped her hand on her knees knocking some wet snow off her glove. "Do you have ideas?" As in what to make and all that good stuff.

Yoongi pouted as he heard that the cape was for decoration only and he nearly went to work to make a snowman of himself when the cape was suddenly in his hands. Blinking at the cape and then at the Professor , the Gryffindor beamed. “I HAVE THE CAPE----“ He coughed loudly and turned around to continue coughing in his handkerchief. “Sorry” he sniffed as he turned back, rubbing his side cause that hurt.

Wait, had the man just agreed that the cape brought out his eyes? He was the first one to agree with him that was so awesome! The sixth year grinned as he sat down on the snowy ground, wanting to chill you know? But upon hearing the request of making a snowman he raised an eyebrow as he looked up. Well, not at the request but at the way he had asked it. It was like looking at a way older , male version of Norah with her lack of confidence. ……….Should he advice stickers as well to him or not?

Too weird if he did so instead he just nodded his head. “Alright , if I get to name it, Sir” cause snowmen needed names as well right? He stood up and walked to one of the shovels and picked it up. “Let’s go make “Snowy Snowystein!”” Did he like the name?

Oh yeah, the trunk. Oops. She'd be so focused with getting to the snow she hadn't even stopped to assess what all was inside the trunk. Maybe Dot knew what was inside it seeing as she mentioned it and all. Hady cast a sideways glance over to the girl knelt down in the snow beside her. "Animals are good. So is a lot of other things though. Do you know what's in the trunk?" Twisting sideways she glanced over her shoulder to see if she could tell on her own from where she was. Nope. Not gonna work.

Rolling a bit of snow between her hands into a firm ball she stopped and looked at Dot a grin taking form on her face. "Ooorrrrrr," Hady started dragging the word out just a bit. "We could always make a pirate princess superhero that just so happens to also be a snake!" Cue that silly laughing right now. She was really trying hard not to fall over into the snow from laughter now. See Dot she had ideas too!

Winter was probably Olly's second favorite season. Maybe third. Or fourth. He didn't have a least favorite season. All he knew was that he liked winter. The cold had never bothered him too much. And winter at Hogwarts certainly sounded like it would be the best EVER. Yeah, building a snowman was cool. But a snowball fight sounded even better.

BUT the point was to build a snowman, and not throw balls of snow at the faces of their fellow students. Later, then. There was a time and place for snowball fights (in his opinion that should be all the time in any place) but apparently this was neither. Fine.

"Can we make the snowmen talk and move like frosty?" The question was aimed at no one in particular, and therefore at everyone. It seemed like a pretty reasonably request, considering they were all magic.

Donned in her most warm and snuggly winter outfit, Sophie was very, very excited about this VERY cool igloo the professors had set up for them. There was food, there were drinks, there was a competition, and there were SNOWMEN TO BE BUILT. It was like they'd all walked into an actual winter wonderland inside an igloo. Way too cute to be real, but there it all was.

After retrieving her own mug of hot chocolate, Soph returned to the area where a few students had gathered to build the snowmen, including Professor Myers, who was probably supervising. Too bad the Charms professor wasn't around so Soph could show off what she'd learned from Quiggles... but... maybe she would do it anyway?

Ahem.

After a brief moment of consideration, Soph cast "Excito animans!" under her breath, her wand pointed at the snow near Myers' feet, concentrating all her energy on animating the snow and building it up around the man's ankles until it fully covered his shoes.

And then she innocently looked away and sipped her hot chocolate, pretending to just be observing everyone and not having a care in the world. Lalala. Totally nonchalant.

Once she had finished inside the Memory Mural igloo, it was time to head to the other one to see what was going on in there. She had her mug with her, with a mouthful left at the bottom. And thankfully she had brought it with her, as she could now refill it! The comforting warmth hit her again as she made her way into the igloo, smiling broadly at all of the people inside, having fun with their snow creations. She poured another mug of hot chocolate and sipped at it, whilst watching all of the goings on within the igloo.

Once she finished, she was sure to pick out some clothing from the trunk and make a snowman. But for now... hot chocolate.

Dot hadn't had a chance to look at the trunk yet, but she knew it existed. There were clothes, accessories, shoes... she could feel the pull of them in her soul or something. It would be fun to figure out something really exciting to do with their snowperson based on what was available, although the sad part would be the moment they discovered they couldn't do as much with snow as they wanted.

We could even do a bunch of tiny snowmen and make one of each and call it 'Playing Dressup.' That's my favorite game, by the way. I know all the rules." The ball zoomed down the hill and /luckily/ didn't hit anyone. Score! It was a pretty impressive ball size now too. And look! The perfect spot too!

Racing down the hill to get to her ball, she tripped and went sooooarinnng, and landed face first into the snow. Her and her two left feet. Owie. Pushing herself up slowly, she checked for broken bones and dusted off the snow. Hearing someone taking to her, Noelle looked up to see Janelle there. "HEY! Janelle right?? Id love some help! I got the base started! " See? It was rugged looking but it was a start.

Adjusting her gloves, because her pinky ring was getting caught in the fabric, she looked at Janelle again. "I haven't decided what I wanna make yet though. Do you have any ideas??" she asked before bending and packing the base into a tighter ball.

She was thinking something AMAZING. Something AWESOME. Something bloody BRILLIANT!

She was completely STOKED for this. Were the kids even saying that anymore? "Snow, prepare to be crafted into something brilliant!" she said as she stepped into her first igloo of the event. She was bundled up, of course, but not so much that her arms were overburdened. Dexterity was key for satisfactory snow shaping, after all!

Now... what to build?!

Janelle had seen the younger girl do a face plant into the snow. It was snow, but that couldn't have felt good. "Are you ok?" She seemed fine and she was willing to let Janelle help her with her snow project. "Awesome. That's a pretty impressive base you've got there." Standing back, she looked at what had been done so far.

"Hmmm. Well you could build a snowman or a snowwoman. Have you checked out the stuff in the trunks. Maybe that will give you some ideas. I'm in, whatever you decide." It didn't really matter to Janelle. Anything would be fine. She just wanted to play with the snow and make new friends. In fact, it was taking all of the self control she had not to flop down in the snow and make snow angels. Instead, she started helping Noelle pat down the snow on her base.
