Aaron trudged down to the lake. His first lesson back WOULD be his worst. But hey, at least it was a picnic! He was the first one down.

Smiling to the professor he took a seat at a blanket. Aaron had a good view of the professor, a good view of the lake, and a good view of a... erm... special tree...

No, Anderson. You're in class. None of that. The boy waited for furthur instruction.

"This is soooooooooooooooooo romantic, Professor," Neptune informed her, doing a twirl with her arms spread wide before settling down. She could do such things because she definitely hadn't brought a basket. Someone would let her share, she was sure.

Giggle.

Lexi smiled as she pulled her sunglasses down from her head. Oh they were her FAVORITE pair tooo. Monique had given them to her and they were the prettiest pink BIG sunglasses EVER. She gripped her picnic basket tightly and plopped down on a blanket with a giggle. Neptune was right... it WAS romantic. She gave a look around to see if Finlay was with the group anywhere.... *Pout*

Romantic?

Raising a brow at the Ravenclaw who said so, Evelyn scoffed before plopping her basket down on a blanket, not really caring what was in it, and claimed a cushion.

Sighing, she leaned back on it and stared up at the sky. Hmm, this was sorta like that one divination lesson they had. Except, she needed one of her favorite Gryffindors next to her. Then, it'd be like that lesson.

How this was relating to history of magic, she had no idea.

Cass followed the rest of the class as they all headed for the lake. She looked around and frowned. The professor wasn't planning on making them dive down the lake to look for some evidence of whatever ancient civilization now, was she? She shrugged carelessly as she laid a blanket down on the green grass and placed her basket over it. Then she smoothed the back of her skirt before sitting down.

A picnic? We were gonna have a picnic? How was that related to the History of Magic, but most importantly, who cares?! Having a picnic during class by the lake sounded a lot better than lecture, especially since the weather was perfect for it! Although, both picnic and lecture combined didn't sound bad at all! After finding a blanket with some shade, he put the basket down and situated himself.

Walking beside Eino, and wondering why she had put so many books in her own bag, Kurumi saw Cass and waved at her before setting their things down the blanket. She was just struck with idea. What if they were going fishing?! Or...maybe there was something in the baskets that the creatures and merfolk in the lake enjoyed so they could get a history lesson on them and perhaps their relationship with the wizarding world?! Kurumi immediately flopped herself down on the blanket and began flipping through her textbook.

With his basket in hand, Salander trotted after the others towards the lake. He looked around and decided on an idyllic spot, which it seemed that another Slytherin dude had selected as well. Smirking, he took the blanket beside it, set the basket down and leaned back onto the grass.

Freya walked towards the lake where the History of Magic held. When she was arrived at the edge of the lake, she saw a lot of blankets laid out. Are they gonna have some picnic here? How COOL is that?! She looked around to find familiar faces to sit with then she saw Cass sitting alone "Hey Cass. Mind if I sit here?" she asked.

Hopefully whatever was in the basket could not be broken.

Swinging said basket around wildly, Destiny followed behind the rest of the people down to the lake. Maybe they were going have a picnic and then move on to build a BOAT! But she didn't have her rubber duck floaty so she could not possibly go into the water. She couldn't swim!

Plopping down on the blanket next to Evelyn, she started to inch her hand towards her friends basket in hopes to open it up and steal whatever was inside.

Inch, inch, inch.

Alice was looking forward to having a picnic. She and her dad had them all the time at home, but it seemed like it had been forever since she had had a picnic of her own. She made her way out to the lake and plopped down on one of the blankets.

"Hi Professor Welton, how are you today?" Alice asked the Professor with a smile.

She figured she'd save a spot for Rubiey if she wanted to sit next to her, and looked around at how else had come.

"Hey Salander," Alice said with a little wave.

Trixie skipped along down to the lake, picnic basket in hand and a bright smile on her face. She very much felt like something out of a fairytale right now, hopefully one that turned out to be good happy ending.

As the blondie appeared where the majority of the other students were, she looked around for someone else to sit for, her eyes resting on the person whom had sat with her at the beginning of the class, Neptune. "D'ya wanna share my basket?" she asked, considering Neptune didn't actually have one on her and Trix didn't want to be all lonely.

They were having a picnic? There'd better be Vegan options in there.

Grr..

PICNIC! This was awesome, Tory decided. "Mornin' Professor." she said with a smile and a nod. She then fell down onto one of the blankets.

They were having a picnic. Now even though that was slightly weird Finlay didn't really mind. A picnic would obviously mean food, and he was rather hungry (he'd totally overslept an missed breakfast this morning.) He grinned as he saw Lexi sat down on one of the blankets, and he decided to go sit down next to her....totally so he could show off his epic skills at knowing all the answers "Hey" He smiled, as he sat down next to her. His eyes glanced up as he heard Neptune speak. Romantic? He supposed it was sort of romantic...not that Finlay was into picnics really....

Lexi turned toward the sound her Finlay's voice and smiled broadly. Awwww he was so cute! She didn't even mind that he looked at Neptune. Nope, didn't care one bit. Heheheh. She took his hand and said, "'Bout time you got here."

This was like... a rhetorical question, right? Neptune was sure it was and crawled over to be near Trixie instead of answering.

"Did you have a peeksy inside....?" Giggle. "I want to know what's in it. And what's in everyone's. I hope you picked a GOOD basket, Trixie." She BETTER have picked a good one. "Maybe it's kittens inside!!" EEEEEEK MAYBE, right? And they were going to give them little baby baths and name them!

Neptune wiggled her fingers at Finny when she noted him looking. HI FINNY. GIGGLE. "We'll name one Finny the III," Neptune whispered decidedly to Trixie. You know, if it WAS kittens in the basket.

RIP Finny II.

Trixie smiled at Neptune as she came over and sat next to the Blonde. So she'd take that as a yes then, seeing as she hadn't actually said anything to her question. The almost seventeen year old looked down at the basket for a short while.

"No I can't actually look in there...." she stated. "Besides I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise now would I?" she asked. Surprises were extremely exciting. "I'm pretty sure it WOULDN'T be kittens. We're at a picnic so isn't it like.... food?" Well that would make the most sense anyway. "But it WOULD be cute if there kittens in there" she grinned. Because those small meowing creatures were adorable!

"Why Finny?" she asked an eyebrow raised. "And what happened to the second...?" Or did she not want to know the answer to that question.

Oooo, picnic-style lesson? Right on!

Keefer skipped merrily with his picnic basket . Several large blankets presented themselves to his view. He skipped over to the nearest one and plunked down on top of it. He couldn't wait to see what they'd be doing down here.

Ooooo! A picnic lesson right on the lake! And the weather was nice and purty, not even a little windy. Awesome. Lugging her picnic basket, Keeley plopped down onto a secluded blanket towards the back. It sorta sucked that none of her friends, or even buddies, were attending this lesson. But who knew, perhaps a student who was all lonesome would like to join her? And if not... well, more mysteryiteminthebasket for her. Patting the messy bun on her head, the girl started scoping the lake for ze giant squid. Or maybe even a merperson. They were supposed to be funny lookin'...

Marie followed her friends out to the area near the lake that seemed to be set up for class. She put her basket down then plopped herself down on a cushy looking pillow next to Destiny... after she looked around and didn't find Jimmy anywhere that is. Hopefully he would be getting himself out here soon, and come sit with her. Maybe she would have to move to a different blanket once he got out here. Maybe.

"So, what do you think are in the baskets?" she asked. Hopefully there was food, she was feeling a bit hungry all of a sudden.

Lilyana walked over and sat down on a big red pillow. She set her basket down next to her and looked around to see who all was here already, and who she knew. She hadn't spotted anyone yet, so she just sat quietly and enjoyed the sun.

A picnic! A picnic!

Picnics call for skipping. Especially with baskets. It just seemed like the right thing to do. So that's what Ellie did. Aallll the way to a blanket at the edge of the lake.

"Can we open them now?!" She really wanted her chocolate feast. hehe.

Yay! Picnic time! Picnic time! she skipped down to the lake and plopped down onto the nearest blanket. she set down her lovely picnic basket and started to hum a little song. this was gonna be a great lesson, it was such a beautiful day. she smiled

A Picnic? Dianna never really had one of those yet. She can't wait to get an experience of it, and with her friends too! She got a blanket and sat with the rest of the class waiting for the lesson to begin.
