The Gobstones
Viewing Area
That's right folks, come on in a Gobstones match between two of your favorite Hogwarts houses is taking place and you don't want to miss it or the prime seats up front! The room that plays host to the Gobstones matches has a few rows of raised seats along each of the long side walls, leaving plenty of room in the middle for the players to shoot for the Jack Stone.
Find a place to cheer on your house or whichever house you want to win because these players may not be brawny Quidditch jocks (or they might just be) but they still deserve the support!

OCC Note: This thread is located outside of the Gobstones Club sub-forum because of the moderated set-up currently in place there. Roselyn, DuckyLinJi, the rest of staff and I (Nordic Witch) are going to do our best to keep an eye in this thread as Matches progress, although it is no longer a moderated thread. Remember all SS School RPG and site rules apply here. Thank you very much for watching!

The day of the first match between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor had come and Professor Elwood made her way quickly to the Gobstones playing room. She made it just before the game started and took a seat in the Stands.
She waved to Leo and Medea and then waited for the match to begin. And it just had....
"Come on RAVENCLAW!!" The blonde cheered. |

So here she was. Who should she root for? Her best friend was a Ravenclaw, but she had been M.I.A. for some time now. There was Jezz too of course and she was a Gryffindor. Hmm... what was a girl to do? Especially one that did not have much school spirit unless it was directly for Slytherin. "GO Ravenlion..." Errr... that didn't come out so great. So she looked around to see if anybody had seemed to notice. Hopefully they didn't.
"GO!!!" she shouted. There that could be for anyone really.

She usually wasn't one for Gobstones, but she needed out of the castle. She joined her friend and gave her a smile. "How about Gryffinclaw?"
It had been a bit since they had seen each other and she had been worried. "How have you been?"

He was late! Adi had totally forgotten about the first Gobstones match of the year; it was also the first he was going to watch. He couldn't wait to see the players in action! Of course he knew all about Gobstones but he never actually witnessed a match.
Entering the viewing area, Adi saw there were other students there and also a blond lady Professor who was cheering for the eagles. The firstie wasn't sure who he was supporting but it would be fun to watch all the same! He waved at the others before taking a seat.

She whipped around fulling intended on telling the person just where they could go, but it was her friend Jezz. "Hey Jezz... yeah I guess my tongue got twisted." She still wasn't even sure why she was here. "Gryffinclaw does sound better actually."
How had she been? That was a really good question. "Better... the days seem to be getting a bit better for me." That much was true. She was able to smile and laugh even if it was short lived. There were actually even moments that went by that she didn't even think about it. That was definitely progress right? "How about you?" | |

Calista didn't hear nearly enough cheering for Ravenclaw for the FANTASTIC job they were doing! She stood up at each score they made and cheered loudly accompanied by stomping and clapping. She was being dedicated and no one could blame her. The kids around her surely would get the spirit too?
She was proud of the Lions for continuing to try though and she smiled as they took they shots, having had a few of them in lessons and such. But her Eagles were doing very well, many of them new this year too. She grinned when she noticed Sophie taking part and how awesome Vesper was doing, the girl she had met at the Feast from Beuxbatons. But the new kids weren't the only ones, Nigel her Prefect and a few other returning Claws were helping Ravenclaw keep up the lead. | |

"Roll 'em good!" she called out, not so loud as to put them off completely. Just enough to be encouraging, or so she hoped.

Here she was again, at the sixth match of the season. Gryffindor vs Slytherin. Should be a good match, she thought as she found a spot in the stands. She pulled her warm maroon cardigan to herself a little more tightly as she looked on at the game. The spring weather was nice, as winter had never been her favorite, but she still longed for the heat of summer.
"Go Lions!" she cried out as she rubbed her hands together for extra warmth.
