Just like she'd done for years on end now, Lainey went to her dusty classroom and propped the door wide open. She waved her wand to open the shades and started a fire in the fireplace. It seemed just like any other day of History - except one thing. There was not a single shred of odd clothing on her, not a wagon full of turnips, or even a terrified house elf waiting for the lesson. It was odd for things to look so normal, actually. Lainey smiled though, waiting at her door for her students to arrive. | |

Jay Benz strolled into the classroom. "Good Afternoon Professor." She greeted in voice as if she were singing. Jay loved the HoM room. It was rather homely and her Professor couldn't be any nicer. She sat in the front row, as usual and pulled a paper a quill getting ready to take notes. "History of Magic" she wrote on the paper and repeated aloud. Seeing that nobody else was in the classroom, Jay pulled out her sketch book, and started to draw her professor. "Um, professor" she began, "you wouldn't mind if I used you as a model for my drawing?" Jay asked making a picture frame out of her fingers and putting it around her head.

Patrick walked into the classroom and immediately wondered whether he'd got the wrong room. If this was history where were the bizarre articles that Lainey always always brought to class. He looked around for the Proffesor herself and spotted her standing right next to the door. He jumped slightly, "Oh,er, hi Proffesor, what's for today?" he asked curiously.
While waiting for the lesson to begin he took a seat towards the front of the room but just far enough back to avoid any incidents (he vividly remembered the paint fight from last year). He took out a sheaf of parchment and a new quill and so far unopened bottle of ink.

Clifford wandered in and took a seat at an empty desk, he already had a feeling this was going to be his worst subject, he just found it difficult to remember all the different names and dates. He took a quill and piece of parchment from his bag before dropping it to the floor. He looked up at the Professor, waiting for class to begin.

Star hesitantly entered the classroom, her book bag slung over her back as she headed towards the back seats. Quietly slipping into a seat, she gently took her bag off and took out the items she'd need for this lesson.
Putting them on the desk in front of her, she slipped her bag onto the floor and waited for the lesson to start.

Eliza stepped cautiously into the classrooom, waiting to be faced by something that'd make her hair grow long or something to pay tribute to the merpeople. But--- everything was so----so normal. She looked at Lainey, a rather confused expression on her face. "Erm----Hello Professor Lainey." she looked her over ofr a moment. Lainey looked---normal. She literally tip-toed towards a seat, rather scared that something would happen during the time between her coming in and her reaching her chair. But amazingly, nothing happened. She frowned and sta down. This wasn't right. This wasn't right at all.

Jay laughed at her professor. Then she got serious and began to draw. after about 5 minutes she turned her sketch book over to show her teacher. "Like it?" Jay asked, "It's not colored yet but I think I got the right features." she paused. "hmmm maybe a little more cheek bone!" her ink was almost gone and it looked as if the quill was flying. "There. Perfect!" she handing the book to her professor.
"Anything I should change?"
