Hello Emily. I loved it all. Very moving, and touching. Posting late like I'm now unfortunately and unintentionaly doing, makes it hard to say anything that hasn't already been said. I'm sorry. You are very talented in your writing and you deserve better. You bring life to your story, and allow us to view the pictures in our minds, as we read each sentence. Their wedding party walked to the outskirts of Hogsmeade and then Apparated back to the Burrow for the reception. There was a huge white tent in the backyard that held music, chairs, candles, and love.

Everyone was waiting inside with rice as Emily and George walked through the opening of the tent. They were bombarded with it as soon as their feet hit the ground on the other side. Emily and George giggled happily as rice went everywhere. A few fellow Gryffindor students, including Connie and Kerri, hugged them and told them their congratulations. The only decent Slytherins around, Abi, Lauren, and Sarah-Jane got to them next, followed by the Ravenclaw triplets, Kit, Sophie, and Katie.

Before their first dance, Emily threw the bouquet. Many girls were lined up behind them, from Connie and Abi, to Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Tonks, Hermione, and Ginny. Angelina stayed far in the back, pouting the whole time. But her behavior didn’t bother Emily or George in the slightest.

Tonks caught the bouquet, surprising everyone. Emily glanced at Remus, whose face paled even more as Tonks turned red and met his gaze. Emily sniggered as George wound his arms around her waist.

“And now for the first dance as husband and wife,” the Minister said. All of their guests gathered around, leaving a wide circle for George and Emily to dance in.

“What song did you pick?” George whispered as he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, hers tightly around his neck.

“Evidently we were both in the mood for Shania,” Emily giggled. George chuckled, kissing her neck as the music filled the air.

Emily pulled back to look at George. They both started singing the last verse.

Emily leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed George lightly on the lips. The music ended and everybody clapped, a few had tears in their eyes. And then they were surrounded.

Emily and George were hugged and kissed from too many people to account for, some coming back for seconds.

“Alright, alright, everyone back away from the bride—she needs to change into her other dress,” Ginny said loudly with a smile.

George kissed Emily’s cheek. “Hurry back to me,” he whispered. Everyone laughed.

“Don’t worry, I couldn’t stay away for long.” Emily took Ginny’s hand as she, Ginny, and Tonks went inside the Burrow and into Ginny’s room. Hermione and McGonagall followed shortly after.

“So, Mrs. Weasley, how are you feeling?” Hermione asked with a chuckle.

“Perfect,” Emily sighed. The ladies laughed lightly at her as Ginny helped her get out of her wedding dress. Emily put on her “party dress” slowly. The fabric was made of satin and looked magnificent against her hair. It dropped at the waist with a lace skirt. It was knee length and a deep sea green that matched just about everything at her wedding.

“You look so beautiful, Ems,” Hermione said as she took the veil out of her hair.

“Thanks, Hermione. You look amazing too, I’m sure Ron can’t keep his eyes off of you,” Emily giggled.

“What? No, Ron and I aren’t—he doesn’t—I don’t,” she stuttered. Ginny and she giggled at Hermione’s pink face.

McGonagall, who had changed back into her robes the first chance she got, gave Emily a hug. “Your mother and father would be very proud of you, Emily,” she said.

“Thank you, professor. I miss him so much,” she whispered.

“He’ll always be with you in your heart,” Tonks said. Tonks and McGonagall gave Emily one last look before going back outside to join the party.

“George is going to melt when he sees you!” Ginny gushed.

“Oooh, I can’t wait to see his face when you walk out there,” Hermione agreed.

“Oh, stop it, you guys,” Emily hushed. The three girls giggled as they made their way back outside.

*Okie dokie, Forever and For Always is written by Shania Twain and R.J. Lange and performed by SHnaia Twain. I must have been in a Shania mood the day I wrote the whole wedding. But, I thought this song does apply with the whole Forever and Always stuff... Anyhoo, the second half of the reception will come soon Probably Saturday... Let me know watchya think

Hi Emily. Very nice post. Sweet all the way through. I'm honored you used my name in there. Sweet of you. Better keep your eye on her that she doesn't stalk Harry though. Teasing, you know I would never do that. Who invited her?!?!??!?!?!? Or was it an open invitation wedding? Oh well, Emily and George weren't bothered at all. Good for them. I LOVE these precious moments! How cute was that!?!?!?!?! Ummm, I think George has already melted. I'm pretty sure he will have other feelings when he sees her.

The dress is lovely. I'm with you though, I think it would be more comfortable knee length.
