Jezzabelle skipped right up to the professor and smiled. "Good day Professor Bentley." She had never been more excited in all her life...well she had but this was a close third maybe fourth. Her first Herbology class and she really couldn't contain the excitement she had building in her. It hadn't been that long since she did anything involving plants, because she had two with her, but it had been a long enough to to make her overly eager for the class.

Herbology. Weeeee!!

Beatrice ran and hopped all the way from the castle to the school grounds and into the Greenhouse Two where they would be having their first Herbology lesson for the term. She was excited per se, and she was showing it with a catlike grin as she arrived at the entrance.

"Professor Seren, good day!" She said, followed by a small bow when she saw the Herbology Professor right inside the entrance. When she gave them instructions, Beatrice followed immediately and went over to the place that they instructed them to proceed. Then she noticed that the greenhouse was a bit darker than usual and as she roamed her eyes, she found the cause of the semi darkness.

There were ivy tendrils all over the glass panels!

"Errr--isn't it a bit dark in here Professor?" She asked.

Taylor entered the room in a good mood. She stopped by the professor, "Hello Professor Bentley." She smiled and stood where the professor told her too. It was a little dark in the greenhouse but Taylor was happy that she could still see.

Alyssa quickly walked into the Greenhouse happy to be back in the familiar greenhouse again. She saw Professor Bentley waiting for the students to arrive. "Good morning Professor Bentley. It is good to be back here again." Alyssa smiled at her before she quickly went to stand in the area where Professor Bentley had indicated where she wanted them to stand.

Isabelle walked cheerfully to the greenhouse where Herbology was being held. Isabelle discovered that it was extremely dark inside when she entered. And there were beautiful ivy tendrils creepy every which way. It was a great sight. "Good day Professor Bentley," Isabelle greeted the nice teacher brightly. "I hope you have had a wonderful break." Isabelle said with a smile as she went over to where the teacher was standing.

Making her way down to the greenhouses, Lana partically skipped there. She liked plants and she was really looking forward to Herbology. Well, she was actually looking forward to a lot of her lessons. Herbology was just one of the ones she was really really looking forward to.

Stopping not too far from where the professor was standing, she smiled as she took in what was around her. She hadn't really explored the area around there yet, but it was definitely on her list now.

"Good day, Professor," she smiled as she waited where they were instructed to wait.

Seeing the ivy, she tilted her head slightly and blinked. She was a bit curious about said ivy now. She had never seen ivy move like at and it kind of made her excited for what was going to happen next.

Herbology.

Katie had mixed feelings with this class, Katie loved planting, but there was always a bug nearby, and Katie hated bugs. "Hey Professor Bentley" Katie said waving. And she then turned and waved at Baudelaire as she had seen her as she came over, at least she thinks it was her, it was dark and hard to tell, but she wasn't one to forget a face and she could see it was her. She then waved to Tay as she turned and saw her, awesome, two friends!

Smiling Angelina walked into the greenhouse, finally she is starting her favorite subject! She saw her friend Taylor and headed over to her. She looked up and said, "Hello Professor Bentley, it's nice to see you!" she was so ready for this class!

Herbology. That was the reason why Selina had to wake up super early. Now she was dragging her feet to Herbology at an unholy hour in the morning, which was in reality not that early. However, it was no secret that Selina slept late in the Gryffindor Common Room. So, Kurumi had decided it would be a brilliant idea to set Selina's alarm clock right next to her ear when she went to sleep last night. The usually unbelievably heavy sleeper had woken up to the sound of ringing in her ears. In fact, the clock was so loud that she fell out of her bed from fright. That was why she was now walking down the the Greenhouse with time to spare.

As she rounded the corner to see Greenhouse number two Selina entered the door. She saw Professor Bentley the Gryffindor Head of House just as she stepped inside the Greenhouse. It was so nice to see Bentley again and she smiled at her Professor, "Morning ma'am, I mean Professor."

Then she did as she was told and filled into the hoard of students now filling the greenhouse.

After a fantastic lunch with Sophie and Carigan, Jessie led the way to Herbology. Studying magical plants could be fun! Jessie didn't have much knowledge of magical plants, so she decided not to touch anything, just in case. Besides, she didn't know which one of these plants was a venomous tentacula! The Herbology professor was standing by the door. "Hello," she said timidly. "I'm Jessie," she said as she passed by.

Once inside the greenhouse, Jessie had a look around. These plants were...well, magical! Some where huge, almost tree-like! Some could fit in the palm of her hand. Jessie wandered around while she waited for class to start.

The walk to the greenhouses was enjoyable. The cool breeze of air was rather refreshing. Hades made his way calmly into the greenhouse two, as instructed on the noticeboard. Ironically, the greenhouse was quite dark and plants needed sunlight to carry on photosynthesis unless if they were to learn about the Devil's Snar which should be awesome!

"Nice to meet you, Professor Bentley. I'm Hades Vaughn, Slytherin's fourth year," he introduced himself politely to the cheerful looking woman before standing a few steps away in front of her. What were they going to do?

Jen caustiusly walked into the herbology green house.
"Hello professor Bentley. My names Jen Emery" Jen said.

Sammy walked into the green houses and took everything in. He didn't know what to expect from this class. Wally hadn't really talked about it much. This place was pretty cool. He smiled at the professor and looked around the group of people. He saw Hades so he edged his way over to him. Better to stand with a familiar face than by himself.

Selena was never a HUGE fan of Herbology. Too many plants. Too many plants that could kill you... eat you... or maybe those were just in books, she couldn't quite remember. Still. She had her hair tied up, ready for whatever insane thing she would be doing today. Maybe she should go find something insane to - nah. She walked to the greenhouse and looked around. Ivy. Was the professor touching ivy? Sel hoped it wasn't poison ivy or closely related to it. She didn't like being itchy.

"Hello Professor Bentley!" Selena said, smiling at the professor. "How are you?" she asked as she joined the small group that was forming into something... larger.

August was pretty excited for the first Herbology lesson. After last term he had really grown to like Professor Hadley and he had found that this was probably one of the easiest subjects for him to adjust to after his first term of Wizarding education.

He had worn his Gryffindor scarf around his next today even though it was starting to get a tad bit warm, the wind still sent a chill down his spine. He came to a stop outside the Greenhouses where Professor Bentley stood with a small group of students. Were they not going it yet?

"Hello Professor Bentley. Have a good summer?" he said with a wave from the relative back of the group.

He was practically bursting to run up and hug her for her new positon of Head of House for Gryffindor but there were others around and that would be weird.

One of her favorite professors! Kourtney nearly skipped towards the greenhouses, slowing her pace as she approached the group gathering in front of the professor. With a bright smile, she waved and chirped. "Hello Professor Bentley!!" She moved her gaze from the woman to the greenhouse, noting that it appeared a bit dark inside. Hmm, what would they be dealing with today?

A very familiar face appeared near her and she shot a grin in Auggie's direction.

Ira entered the herbology class with a smile on her face. Last term, she had thought that she would surely hate this subject, but then had grown to like it. Besides she liked Professor Bentley. And now she was the head of Ira's house. That was all the more reason to be happy.

She saw the professor standing at the entrance of the greenhouse. Ira greeted, "Hello Professor Bentley! Good Morning! Nice to see you.."

Then she entered the greenhouse, briefly wondering why it was a little dark.. Then assuming that it was part of the lesson, she followed instructions and stood over by the group.

Minerva walked into the greenhouse. It wasn't her best subject, but she really wanted to try to do better this year. "Good morning Professor, I hope you had a great summer." she walked to the rest of the group smiling at Alyssa who was already there.

Ahh Herbology, just seemed like a nice and fresh day to be around plants.... Wait, did that Ivy just move? O_o "Good day, Professor Bentley." Smiling kindly at the Professor and the other classmates before checking out that mysterious looking ivy again.. Hmm.. Hope it wasn't poisonous.

Anya headed toward the greenhouses for Herbology. She was excited. She enjoyed gardening back home... and magical gardening HAD to be ten times more fun!

"Hello Professor." she greeted as she passed the Head of House lady.

Hm... no Alec or Asher yet...

So she decided on a spot toward the back and off to the side a bit. She still didn't know very many people yet.

Harvey walked into greenhouse and saw the professor was already there "Hello Professor! How are you? I hope you enjoyed your summer." he greeted her before he joined two girls he recognised once instantly with her new blonde hair and he went over to them "Hey Alyssa.. good to see you here." he greeted Alyssa before turning to Minnie "Hey Mins good to see you are here.." he said then he leaned in and whispered "Sweetie you are doing great here.. keep it up.." he beamed at her before turning to pay attention to the professor

Merlin, that was quite the trek from the Ravenclaw common room to the greenhouses. This whole walking places business was just not working for him. This would simply have to change. How? He had no idea. It was a work in progress, but right now...

Julien pulled his cloak around him a little tighter as he walked into the greenhouse. He noted that the woman at the front of the pack was most likely the Professor and the rest were just students. He then grumbled inwardly as it seemed to be expected that they stand up.

After the walk he'd just had, nu-uh.

Julien took a seat on the ground, just slightly away from the crowd and opened his notebook up in his lap. Perhaps he'd get up when the lesson actually began...

Snort.

Such a silly thought.

Vickers made his way towards the greenhouses, then slowed his pace as he entered the class "Good morning Professor Bentley." he said with a nod of his head then paused when he heard her indicate where they should stand. Up in front? He nodded once and pulled out his glasses, slipping them on. Yes, now he can see better mmhmm.

While his attention was towards the front of the group at the professor, August caught sight of a familiar face in Gryffindor robes--Kourtney.

"Hey Kourt!" he waved to her quickly and scooted his way through the other students to stand next to her. "You been good?" he asked quickly, and then decided to leave it at that so they didn't get in trouble for chatting.

They could meet up in the Common Room or something after the lesson.
