According to a
conference call Tuesday morning with Comcast executives, who handle NBC and its subsidiaries including Universal Parks and Resorts, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -Diagon Alley will open sometime in the
second quarter. This
ranges from now until the end of June - and as Universal Orlando Resort announced that it's set to open this summer, this gives a narrow timeframe, so expect the opening date to be revealed as a late June date.

"In the second quarter, we are very excited about the opening of Harry Potter 2 in Orlando, as well as having the spring holidays in full swing," Comcast Chief Financial Officer Michael Angelakis told analysts on the call.
"With the upcoming opening of Harry Potter 2 in Orlando, and the added hotel capacity with the opening of Cabana Bay, the theme parks are set up for strong performance in the second quarter and beyond," Comcast Chairman and Chief Executive Brian Roberts said.
The Today Show will broadcast live from Universal Orlando Resort this coming Friday, and strong rumours say that the opening day will be announced then. Stay tuned for more information regarding this.
