Technical rehearsals, or 'soft openings', of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood have begun this Friday. This means that park guests will get the chance to walk around Hogsmeade village and even Hogwarts castle, if they are open. Some may even get the chance to test out the new 3D Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride.

"It’s common practice in the theme park industry to put rides and attractions through the operational process prior to official opening," said park spokeswoman Audrey Eig.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood will officially open on April 7, 2016, preceded by a star-studded red carpet event at the park on April 5th.
