Video: Quote of the Week – Helena Bonham Carter
During a press conference yesterday at the London Film Festival, Helena Bonham Carter spoke about filming the role of Queen Elizabeth in her upcoming film
The King’s Speech at the same time she was portraying Bellatrix in
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows .
Quote:
Bellatrix [is] quite exhausting because she’s all screamy – a bit of a hooligan. So it was quite nice to have the weekends off as the queen, kind of being a bit restrained.
The King's Speech is slated for a November 26, 2010 release.

It does sound nice to be a queen after screaming and jumping about killing people. A queen can just order her henchmen to do that job for her.

I love when she mentions her son asking, "mom do you have to be the witch today or the queen?" Hilarious!
I definitely believe her about Bellatrix being exhausting. All she does is scream and yell and kill people.

I would be exhausted too after playing Bellatrix. It seems it's always more difficult to portray evil than good. Just to me.
But it's nice that she gets to flip-flop between the roles!
I'm sure she's great at both.
