Video: Harry Potter actor Sir Kenneth Branagh receives British Knighthood
Multiple Academy-Award-nominee and former Harry Potter actor Kenneth Branagh, who many know for portraying Gilderoy Lockhart in Chamber of Secrets, received the Knights Bachelor Knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubliee earlier this month, meaning that the actor will thus be known as Sir Kenneth Branagh.
Sir Kenneth now joins other Harry Potter actors who have received their Knighthood, including Dame Maggie Smith and Sir Michael Gambon. A few words from Ken about receiving the accolade can be seen below, via the BBC.
