Video: Bill Nighy talks Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint & Emma Watson in Deathly Hallows
Actor Bill Nighy spoke about having worked with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and especially Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in which he plays Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, last year while promoting his and Rupert's comedy, Wild Target, which will hit French theatres on July 7th (it is currently in UK theatres). Bill goes into detail on filming alongside the trio, how the Harry Potter franchise differs greatly from any other film project, and in the unity of the cast and crew who have become such great friends over the 10 years of production. Emma Watson is adorable in the extreme. She is such a lovely person. And Daniel was charming. And Rupert I'd already worked with, so it was nice to work with him again. And they were really welcoming a nice to me. You know, they've been there for 10 years. There were people on that movie that were finishing their Harry Potter life, and people who'd been there for 10 years. It had been their life.
And they'd become great friends. I mean, you do on a single movie. You become great friends with people and get married or have babies, or they just become good friends. It's always tough to pull away because you go do another movie. But on Harry Potter they've done however many they've done - six movies - and they've become big parts of each others' lives. So there was a feeling of the ends of things for people.
Some people finished while I was there. They had their last scenes, and it's a very big deal. It's not like other movies.
I think they will all go on and make other movies. The audience that grew up with them will be happy to see them in other things. They are all good young actors and I should think they will continue to make movies and the audience will grow with them and follow them wherever they go, I would think. They are such popular performers now and they are part of people's lives. They've grow up together, and that audience will stay with them, I would think.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.
AWWW love what he has to say about the trio- they really are best mates--sad to see that their lil HP family will be ending (fliming wise yes) but promo train etc will be happening for the next year plus!! Cant wait for Scrimgeour!!!!

OHMIGOSH! I win slowest person of the year award, I remember seeing him in the Underworld series! Aaaand, as someone else said, he's Davey Jones. If anyone can play Scrim awesomly, it has to be Bill!!!!!
A friend of Harry is a friend of mine. The impossible often has a way of become reality.
He is perhaps one of the most talented, and brilliant British actors. I ADORE Bill Nighy, and cannot wait to see him in the movie! I think he'll be great!!!
Till he dies of course. =P
