Earlier this spring, Warner Bros was gracious enough to invite SnitchSeeker to visit Leavesden Studios in Watford, England, to see the sets for
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, interview some of the cast and crew and watch a scene being filmed. While there, we interviewed actors Daniel Radcliffe (who spoke with us in detail about the
Seven Potters scene), Matthew Lewis and Warwick Davis, as well as director David Yates, producer David Barron, set designer Stuart Craig, costume designer Jany Temime and creature effects master Nick Dudman.
During the downtime between interviews, we perused the media tent that had been set up for us and filled with
Deathly Hallows costumes, props and concept art, including some awesome shots from Bill and Fleur’s wedding – wait ‘til you hear what Luna wore …
Publicists also gave us a tour around the studios, along with the other media there that day. Highlights included snooping through the drawers in the deep recesses of Dumbledore’s office, running into a gorgeous white peacock in the Great Hall, and seeing a couple of new Ministry of Magic sets - namely the inquisition room of the Muggle-born Registration Commission and the magical bathroom entrance, complete with extras dressed as Ministry workers.
Sadly that’s all we can say for now. But, don’t worry: we’ll have our full
Deathly Hallows: Part I report up, plus the interviews, on October 5.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 will be released November 19, 2010. SnitchSeeker is readying for the November release of part one via a daily photo countdown on our official Twitter (click
