| | |  Shacklebolt and young James Potter have been cast
CBBC Newsround is reporting that the roles of Kingsley Shacklebolt and young James Potter have been cast for OoTP. George Harris, who will be playing Kingsley Shacklebolt, has an extensive career in film ( Raiders of the Lost Ark) and televison.
Teenager Robbie Jarvis will be playing young James Potter in the Pensieve scene. He has had stage roles with the East Side Theatre Company.
Filming is set to begin February 5th.

Shacklebolt looks great, although for some reason I always thought the character was a White man. lol I should go re-read the books. Eheh. Doesn't matter though, I can really picture him as Shacklebolt now.  | |

Mr Harris looks quite the part.Though I must admit when reading Shacklebolt I did have a Samuel L Jackson type in my mind.
Me thinks if Mr Jarvis is as handsome as we all hope he will have quite the fan following after HP! Just like the incredibley gorgeous Robert.
Can't wait for a piccy. Who I'm really waiting for though is Young!Sirius...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. They film last scenes first, so they'll most likely film anything without Luna. But see, this is why I'm so surprised at the fact that they waited so long to do open casting auditions like that... so close to filming and yet they did that... I'm sure they've found someone though. They probably tried to do those as quickly as possible, if in fact they were truly still looking...
But February 5th... EEEE!!!
