| | RUMOR: Deathly Hallows is 700 pages?
German online bookstore weltbild.de lists Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as having 700 pages and claims the information came from Bloomsbury’s branch office in Berlin.
The page count for Deathly Hallows is unconfirmed at this time. Quote:
This listing is for the English version of the book to be printed by Bloomsbury in Germany, which would assumedly have the same page count as the British version.
At 700 pages, this would make Deathly Hallows almost 100 pages longer than the previous book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was 607 pages in the UK, but not the longest Harry Potter book, which is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, at 766 pages in the UK edition.

| The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas.
Wow, that would be great, though I thought JK said it would be a smaller book? I thought that meant less than 700, but if she wants to do more than it's all good to me

That's a lot of pages that I'm dying to read. Hopefully it's true, but if it isn't, hopefully there's a lot more than that.

Hi guys,
I´m new here! The rumor was sent by me to Wizard News. Most other HP news pages denied to accept it.
This is the link to Bloomsbury Germany (in Berlin). http://www.berlinverlag.de/verlage/v...imprint=&cat=0
Bloomsbury Germany belongs to Berlinverlage! WELTBILD - Bücher, DVDs, Elektronik, Musik, Software, Geschenke und Spielzeug said it got the information from the publisher itself.
Weltbild proclaimed already 4 weeks before the official release date that book 7 will come out in July, which was quite right.
Weltbild uses to be a reliable source. Anyway, the number of pages could differ a little bit of course, but it sounds sincere.
see you.

I know! I have a box set of the 1-6 books, and when I see it, Order of the Phoenix is the thickest. (it's wicked scary) But I'm really excited about Deathly Halllows.

| Roro Numero Uno Hogwarts Rules! i dont remember how long HBP was in the american version but i know it was around 670-ish and im know for sure that the american OotP was 870 so thats pretty different from the UK version I hope that its not 700 pages becasue for the LAST Harry Potter book i think its really short! i hope its like 2,000 pages long thought i highly doubt it

700 pages is a decent size for the book. Maybe 777 would fit it better just because it's the last one. Oh well. The more pages there is, the better.

Bloomsbury has already cleared out that this rumour is false!
I wish that HPDH is as long or longer than OOTP.
