| | |  (Update) Luna Lovegood castings have begun
SnitchSeeker fleurdelacour (Harriet) has informed us that Luna Lovegood castings have begun. Apparently casting directors are currently visiting selected British Schools.
Harriet says they're looking at girls between the ages of 14-16 (Years 10 & 11). The casting people will be visiting her school on October 3rd. Harriet is planning to go for the part.
I'm sure everyone at SS wishes her the best of luck!

That's the day after my b day!! Hope they come to my skool, but then again it wouldnt be much good coz im year 9 n am only just turning 14  n i cant act GO HARRIET!! Pick Harriet or we attack *gets fangs ready*

I think this has to be the most anticipated casting in the movie. I'm really hoping they choose well. Luna is going to be a hard role to fill. I wish Harriet lots of luck and wouldn't it be cool to have an SSer be Luna?

After seeing the good choices which were done for Fleur, Krum, Cho and Cedric(following previous castings like the trio's which were also cast this way) my hopes are high that I will not be disappointed with the choice. But I'll wait before doing more judgement.

Lissy's right. Luna is going to another one of those characters people are going to feel needs to be just like she is in the book. She's great for comic relief, but I hope they don't over do that (which I don't think they will with Goldenberg.) I'm really excited to see who they are going to pick and that OotP casting has begun.
