Post Katie Leung discusses seeing 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child', her new London play

While promoting the opening of her new London stage work in the Royal Shakespeare Company's Snow in Midsummer, Harry Potter actress Katie Leung was asked about her thoughts of the current run of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which she saw back in January.

There's only one thing getting me through this day. ⚡️#keepthesecrets

Were you surprised when JK Rowling announced the next Harry Potter story would be a play?
Katie Leung:
The first thing that popped into my head was whether JK Rowling would be involved. Because if she wasn't then it probably wasn't going to be any good. But she played a big part in recreating it, so there's no question that it would be epic.

Have you seen the show?
Katie Leung:
I have watched it recently and it was f---ing brilliant! I was really impressed with the performances. It brought back many memories but I was blown away by how much I could empathise with every character onstage. It made everyone very human. I loved every minute of it.
More about the Cho Chang actress's involvement in the Snow in Midsummer can be read here. For those in the London area and interested in purchasing tickets, head right here. The production runs through March 25, 2017.
