| | |  Katie Leung contributes photography to Sightsavers International exhibition
Katie Leung has contributed a photograph to a competitive student display organised by Sightsavers International, a charity that 'works to combat blindness in developing countries, restoring sight through specialist treatment and eye care'. The theme is Body Language, with the exhibit titled 'i:click - when actions speak louder than words'. Katie's contribution can be seen here;

'Photography allows me to communicate in a certain way which words and other forms of art simply cannot, and it has ultimately changed the way in which I see the world.'
'Through my passion for this powerful medium I am deeply grateful to be blessed with the wonderful gift of sight.'
Additionally a photo of Katie, on her recent travels in Asia, was included with the article and can be seen here;
The exhibition opens on December 10th at gallery@oxo on London's South Bank. The display is due to finish on January 10th 2010. | |
