Post Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Pottermore chapters 12-20 now live, new content

Pottermore announced that chapters 12-20 from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are available to view and visit, and include new excerpts from J.K. Rowling about Beauxbatons, Durmstrang and The Daily Prophet.

Quote:
Apart from the Flamels, famous ex-students of Beauxbatons include Vincent Duc de Trefle-Picques, who escaped the Terror by casting a concealment charm on his neck and pretending that his head had already been cut off; Luc Millefeuille, the infamous pastry-maker and Muggle-poisoner, and Fleur Delacour, who fought in the world-famous Battle of Hogwarts and was awarded medals of bravery from both the French and British Ministries of Magic.
Pottermore announced that they will feature audio and previews from the next Goblet of Fire chapters at A Celebration of Harry Potter, which SnitchSeeker will be attending, so stay tuned.

"Vincent Duc de Trefle-Picques, who escaped the Terror by casting a concealment charm on his neck"

What is a Terror? Is that something in Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find Them? Hmmmm....

Edits: There is no "Terror" entry on the Harry Potter wiki and it does not appear to be in Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find them. Yup, I think this is a clue.

I assume by "Terror" she is referring to the period immediately following the French Revolution during which many were executed.

That's the Terror I was guessing at as well.

I'm so behind on Pottermore. I haven't even finished PoA. *blinks*
