Half-Blood Prince Video on Demand access to begin December 15
It has been
announced that
Half-Blood Prince will be available for Video on Demand cable television rental services beginning December 15, a week after the release of the US DVD and Blu-ray sets (which are available for pre-order starting October 13th at Amazon
here and
here ).
A spokesperson for Warner Bros explained the reason for the VOD delay:

Noonan said the film “will be held back a week [on VOD] in an effort to further enhance the extraordinary sell-through possibility” of the DVD, calling Potter a unique property.
