| | |  Half-Blood Prince US DVD to be released December 8 (UPDATE #3)
Warner Home Video has announced to retailers that the US version of the Half-Blood Prince DVD will be released on Tuesday, December 8th.
The Blu-ray copy is said to contain: Quote:
The Blu-ray version will include the WB Maximum Movie Mode with the stars, director and producers, and BD Live with Facebook Connect, with which fans can invite their Facebook friends to a BD Live Community Screening. Both the Blu-ray and two-DVD editions will include digital copy, as well as featurettes on the cast and crew, the life of books series author J.K. Rowling, additional scenes and a sneak peak at the Universal Orlando Resort's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.

The Half-Blood Prince DVD can be pre-ordered at Amazon starting October 13th here.
We have received word from Warner Bros that the international dates of release will be announced tomorrow, so stay tuned. UPDATE: The back cover of the US DVD has been released by Warner Bros, and can be seen here:  UPDATE #2: A new promo for the 3-disc Blu-ray set, which will include the movie itself (in Blu-ray and standard DVD), the special features, and a digital copy, has been released. It displays the cover (which alternates between Harry with Dumbledore and Snape with Draco), and a sneak preview into the cast and crew's running commentary during the film; it can be seen below:  UPDATE #3: More details reveal that cast members Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and Alfie Enoch will be presenting various extra features on the Blu-Ray disk; Quote:

Yay!!! I can't wait!! I always get the special edition versions. Last time OOTP had like 3 different special editions and I somehow ended up with all of them. But I can't wait to buy this...I've already seen the movie 6 times in the theaters and I'm really anxious to own my own copy! | |

I wonder if there will be a 3-disk Special Editon from Target for HBP, like there was for OotP. I really hope so! I'm getting all the DVDs first and then hoping to get the Collector's Editions in Blu Ray! | |

Gosh darn it, it's only September! Patience... HAHA my reaction exactly and I only watched it once too so I dont remember half the things that happened. I realized with any film i watch in theaters I can never remember anything but the basic plot line but on DVD for the first time I remember everything. Weird? So I guess I gotta buy this now! YAY for HBP!
