| | |  Half-Blood Prince Italian release on July 15, 2009
Warner Bros. Italy has issued a statement announcing that Half-Blood Prince will be released in Italy on July 15, 2009 - two days before it comes to theatres in the US and UK. Quote:
"Harry Potter and the Half-Prince, the sixth episode of the saga created by author JK Rowling, will be released in Italy on 15 July 2009. After the great public and critical success reached last summer with The Dark Knight, Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Pictures Italy confirms the protagonist of the summer season.
Paolo Ferrari, president of Warner Bros. Pictures Italy, commented:' 'It is essential that we continue to support the film market in the summer and next summer Warner Bros. will do its part. Harry Potter has already shown that it can conquer the box office in July and I am sure that will confirm its extraordinary potential."

In Portugal it cames on 16th July. It's good that it's on a different place... it's always first in U.S. But normally this as to due with the weekend day that movies are released. In Portugal it's on thursdays. But after a 8 months wait i really don't care if it's 15, 16 or 17 lol. I feel sorry for countries who have to wait months

We've waited for so long that 1-2 days of wait doesn't really make a huge difference anymore. Congrats, Italy. Enjoy it...let us know what you think of the movie when you have a chance to share.

Well I'm guessing Italy has their premieres on Wednesdays so that's why they will have the movie two days before the US and UK, here in Nicaragua like we have our premieres on Thursdays we will be getting it on the 16th instead of the 17th... but really 1,2,3 days don't really matter after ALL the time Warner Brothers has made us wait for this movie!!!
