| | |  First Emma Watson The Perks of Being a Wallflower on-set photos released
While numerous candid photos of Emma Watson in Pittsburgh have been surfacing online for the past week, the first images of the Harry Potter actor on the Pennsylvania set of her new drama, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, have been released. In the film, Emma plays Sam, one of the lead character, Charlie's, best friends and companions as he deals through the woes that come with adolescence and American high school in the 1990s. Emma stars in the movie - the adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's novel - alongside Logan Lerman (Charlie), Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd, Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, Mae Whitman, and many more.
The first photos of Emma in makeup as Sam walking around the outdoors Pittsburgh set on Friday morning can be found in our galleries. 
There is currently no set release date for Summit Entertainment's The Perks of Being a Wallflower. | |

I dont think thats her handwriting...I have seen her writing on stuff and that does not look like it
Sam is supposed to have long brown hair...but that might have been too much addition to emma or anyone really. that much change could make anyone look everdone, thats maybe why they decided to leave her in a more natural state. the outfit... perks is set in 1991 and 1992 so... she looks good. I cannot wait to see this movie...
Sam is Charlie's love interest in perks. Also, along with Patrick, best friends of Charlie. The three make the "Perks trio"...with a focus on Charlie, of course...kind of the same as HP in that sense. | |

She looks great with her hair longer, I think. I'm interested to see how she does with a more American accent in the film. It sounded so odd to hear her when she briefly demonstrated it to David Letterman awhile back!
