Quote:
Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired worldwide distribution rights to indie drama/thriller Dynamite: A 60's Love Story. "Pretty Little Liars" star Ian Harding delivers a chilling performance as Max Bornstein, a heroin addict working in the highly illegal pornography industry. Written by Max Bornstein and Jason Noto, Dynamite exposes Max's true story of heroin addiction and personal redemption.
Dynamite also stars Harry Potter's Evanna Lynch as Bornstein's wife Theresa, Carol Kane ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", Annie Hall), Brendan Sexton III (Boys Don't Cry, "The Killing"), and Chaske Spencer (Twilight). The film marks Tate Steinsiek's feature film directorial debut.
Synopsis:
Max Bornstein had the wit, looks and charm... Yet he was a full-time dope fiend working within the underground, highly illegal pornography industry. Even during a federal investigation, Max's truest worry was his family.
Dynamite was produced by Max Bornstein, Jordan Yale Levine, and Ash Christian.
Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff negotiated the deal with Jordan Yale Levine of Yale Productions. Jordan Levine says of the acquisition, "We are thrilled to partner with Breaking Glass on the release of such a special film to us, with a very important and relevant message. Max has an unbelievable story that the world should learn about and from, and it's wonderful knowing that our distributor recognizes this importance."
