Summit Entertainment just announced that Emma Watson's upcoming drama, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, will have its initial limited theatrical release on Friday, September 14, 2012. The film's first trailer will be released on June 3rd at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, set to be introduced by Emma, Logan Lerman, and Ezra Miller at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.  Quote:

Can't remember what does "limited" mean? Is it that only certain theaters will screen it or that it will only be in theaters for a short time?

Limited means that it will have a small release, sometimes limited releases don't leave New York and LA. i'm really hoping it shows up in Austin. I'm pretty sure this will have a bigger release, movies with limited releases don't have trailers at the MTV Movie Awards.
