| | |  Emma Watson plate design raises hundreds
Last month we told you that Emma Watson had designed a plate that was to be auctioned off in aid of the Blue Peter's Mission Nutrition Appeal. The item has now been sold and the amount raised totaled £698.78.
The appeal itself runs until October this year, sponsored by the BBC1 children's programme. The aim is to raise enough money to feed two million kids all around the world, with the target of raising £500,000. Save the Children, ContinYou, and the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens are all working in association with the show and the network. The first charity is working to provide foodboxes, daily meals and gardening equipment for children in Bangladesh, South Africa & Columbia, the second is working to set up Breakfast Clubs in the UK and the last is hoping to grow food at schools and in communities.

Ooooh, isnt this the plate that many were saying she spent all of five minutes decorating?! Well, see how much that five or so minutes of her using a permanent marker on a plate raised for charity? That is very good....regardless of how much time she spent....the $ goes to a good cause in the end.
