| | Deathly Hallows in borrowed and stolen lists The Times reports that Public Lending Right (PLR), the government-funded group that pays authors with books in libraries, has revealed that Deathly Hallows is the most borrowed book.
Sadly, it has also made it onto a list of the most stolen from shops too. Estimates tell us that around 100 million books are stolen each year in the UK. Quote:
Many of the booksellers who took part in the survey are convinced that a thriving black market for books exists - according to them, illicit sales are made mainly in pubs, where disorientated consumers are happy to buy maps, travel guides and the latest Harry Potter for their children from a network of book thieves selling at bargain prices.

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

Well to be honest, in the UK Twilight isn't quite as popular or famous as HP so its really not very surprising that the books don't get stolen that much...

I think it's sad that people would even bother stealing it. But there you go.
