Daniel Radcliffe and the cast of
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will be lending their voices to the 13th volume of the Carols for a Cure album, proceeds from which will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) leading up to the annual Gypsy of the Year performance this winter. Dan will be singing a cover of Tom Lehrer's 'A Christmas Carol' (the original can be heard
here), and the CD, according to BroadwayWorld, will be sold between mid-October and mid-December 2011 via
broadwaycares.org.
Other Broadway productions recording songs for the album include
The Addams Family,
Wicked,
The Phantom of the Opera,
Mamma Mia!,
Jersey Boys,
Catch Me if You Can, and
Billy Elliot. We will have more on the contribution, including when the CDs will begin to be sold, later this year.
Dan will also be a guest on the CW's
The Better Show on Friday, September 16, 2011. More on the talk show can be read here. It is currently uncertain what particular topics (if any) Dan will be discussing on the show. We will have the interview as soon as it is available online.
