| | |  Curse-Breaker HQ and Trading Offices
The Curse-Breaker HQ is on an upper level of Gringotts Bank. The Curse-Breakers are always busy whether home or abroad. They each have their own office space, though a few of the apprentice Curse-Breakers share an Office. Its a little lighter and brighter here compared to the rest of the building and as such many of the other witches and wizards who work at Gringotts have managed to snag offices up here too rather than in the dark marble corridors where their Goblin colleagues can be found.
This is not a public area. Official business or invitation only. OOC: While you are allowed to roleplay here, please be sure your character has official business and has entered the bank through the entrance way and main hall. It is best not to post here without your character being invited to do so.
If you have a Curse-Breaker character on the officially approved list you may RP here any time. | |

The assistant manager was out of the office for the time being. Not the situation he was hoping for, but one he would make due with until the Mr. Roderick returned. Cutty's eyes found the wireless set and he helped himself to the empty chair (the one obviously belonging to Mr. Roderick). His thin, white fingers twisting the dial and coming across one horrible love song after the other.
"...Too much, too little, too late to ever try agaaain."
*switch*
"...And if that's a metaphor for you and I, why is it so hard to say good-bye."
*switch*
"It's been so lonely without you here..."
*switch*
"...The way I danced with youuuu!"

The wirey, chaotic sound of metal came through on the speaker and Cutty froze. No lyrics at first, but then the space was quickly filled with...
Squaaaaaaaaaak!
Was that a parrot?! Cutty's young face drifted off into a blank sort of disbelief as the sound penetrated his fragile and impressionable mind.

Colin headed back to his office munching on an apple. Lunch breaks were amazing like that. As he approached, he heard noises coming the space which he left empty. That was odd. Were the goblins rifling again?
That wouldn't surprise him, it had been awhile since they did a random check.
Except it wasn't that. Nope. It was a human person. A human person in his chair. "Mordaunt." he greeted surveying the young man. "Made yourself comfortable, I see."

Pulling him out of the hypnotic spell of Hatebeak was Mr. Roderick's voice. "Oh hullo, Mr. Roderick." Cutty turned down the knob on the modest set and stood up.
"Actually, yer chair could use an adjustment or at least a cushioning charm. Time ter ask for that promo." The impertinent young wizard informed his superior. "Also, yew've got to hear this." He'd moved out of the way so that Collin could sit again if he wished to, whilst turning the dial on the volume up. Again the sound of metal music with the accompaniment of what certainly sounded like parrot vocals filling their space. "Zarraparrot? Don't that sound like a parrot ter yer?"

That and paper airplanes. Merlin, they needed more interns soon.
Colin passed by the younger man and took a seat. He leaned in toward the radio before laughing. "Sure sounds like one." He laughed again. "Who is that, I wonder? I hope they're getting many adoring fan letters." Speaking of adoring fan letters though, why exactly was he being visited right now? Unless it was to listen to this song. In which case, that was an acceptable reason.
