Kevin walked into the great hall he had heard about an assembly and was curious to know what it was about he made his way over to the benchs for the second years and sat down and wondered what was so special about an assembly that had to be dealt with right away

Victoria walked in and saw Kevin, smiled at him and wished she could sit with him but she goes and sits on the bench for the first years.

Thomas walked into the Great Hall with his eyes staring at the ceiling for no special reason. He knew about the assembly but he didn't know what it was about. He walked to the benches for the first year and sat near the side. The Ravenclaw waited silently for the assembly to start.

Clark skipped into the assembly hall, a fake smile plastered on his face. He sat down in the chairs for third years and looked around. The crowd-or lack of one-was scarce, and he suspected it was a good thing he had gotten here early. Dude, school was almost over.

Having just read a special notice posted to the bulletin board in the Common Room, Anna made way down to the Great Hall. Interview with a Werewolf...hmm...that sounded interesting enough. The first thing she noticed upon entering the Great Hall was that the furniture inside had been completely moved around. She found a place towards the back, assuming that she, as a seventh year, was meant to not take a spot right up front. She absentmindedly twirled a lock of her hair around and around while she waited for things to get good and started.

Angelica entered the great hall and headed to the first year bench totally confused about the nature of the assembly

"'Scuse me, pardon me,...one side...ohp, commin' through, pardon me..." The divination professor fumbled through to the back benches, excusing himself as he moved over to the middle chairs on the back bench for the 7th years and Professors although there was no one that he needed excusing from. He was either bored or mad as he took a look around, waiting for others to show. Good thing he brought along some knitting.

Skippity skip.

Cam had been skipping all the way from the 7th floor down here, carrying a bag of... well mainly chocolates in his hand and a pile of papers in the other. Ohhhhh? What's this? Before heading off to his common room, he'd seen... the Great Hall looked SO different. Was this because of the merpeople?! HAD THEY REARRANGED EVERYTHING? Hmmmph.

Everything was dry again though. Now THAT was the good part in all of this.

And well... people were sitting. Hm. He didn't know what exactly was happening right now (he was waaay too distracted from the flooding and the Selkies to notice... stuff). "Oooooh it might be a party!" Instead of going down to the direction of the dungeons, he instead, took a seat with the other 2nd years, setting down the bag of chocolates on the floor and sitting on the pile of papers so they wouldn't get away.

...wait WHHYYY WAS THERE A CAGE THOUGH?!?! Was it... part of the party too?? BUTYAYAYAYAYPARTY.

Suddenly... a stream of water wet the floor of the assembly hall...

Jule walked into the great hall, grateful the flooding and her wound was healed. She headed towards the front benches with the rest of the first years. She saw Vicky and Thomas sitting there already, but for some reason, she kept her distance and sat anywhere on the front bench.

William walked into the great hall, feeling a semblance of normalcy. Everything was back to normal. his bag now swung over his shoulder, his necklace around his neck, a great big grin on his face. Yes he was happy and with good reason. Noticing the benches he approached the second year bench and sat down, his feet swinging normally. Not knowing what was gonig on all he could do was wait.

Marcus strolled into the Great Hall and headed straight up to the podium and to where the Headmaster stood. "Good evening Headmaster." He gave the man a nod and then looked out over the students. It was a pretty good turn out so far. He had to admit he was both excited and nervous about this.

Entering the Great Hall Lyra glanced around for a few moments, analyzing the room with her eyes. it looked different 'yea well duh' she thought in her mind and continued to walk towards the front of the hall, should she sit at the first row? because she is a first year? Probably. Now walking towards the first bench, Lyra placed her bag next to her and waited not so patiently what was going to happen

Reese had been so excited about this interview since she had read the announcement on the bulletin board about it a few days ago. She walked into the Great Hall and looked around as she noticed it had been redecorated for this event. Walking over to the area where the fifth years were suppose to sit, she sat down and waited for the interview to begin.

Angelica jumped up at the sight of even more water "Ohh come on!" she exclaimed more to herself

Fallon walked in and sat where the first years were supposed to sit. She waited patientally for the assembly to start so she could find out what it was about. Suddenly, water started to wet the floor. Great. Here we go again. she thought to herself.

Special Assembly. Oooh. Interesting. As Vanessa walked in she noticed that Anna was already sat at the back. So that was where the seventh years must be seated, probably because presumebly they would be taller. She obviously broke that rule.
Smiling the rather on the small side hufflepuff made her way over to Anna and sat down beside her. "Hey Anna." That was when she noticed the water. "Erm...Anna....there seems to be some water invading the great hall again."

Step step...clap...step step clap...wait, what is that clap..splash? The water was filling up the Great Hall again? Emiliano looked at the stream of water, then sighed as he continued walking into the assembly to where Sixth years were supposed to sit and waited for the meeting to begin.

Kevin noticed the water a bit and nearly freaked out but decided against it and sat being patient he noticed Vicky sitting over with her fellow first years and hoped that the assembly would be starting soon

Cam decided to take a chocolate frog from the chocolate bag to pass the time, nibbling on it ever so slowly. AAAAHHH. He hadn't eaten chocolate for SUCH a long time, it seemed like he was in heaven. He eyed the professors and then at the cage, hoping that an animal wouldn't be placed in it. Animals were NOT supposed to be placed in cages--'cept for owls and all of those birds that used a cage for its shelter and all the other exceptions.

But hopefully, no animal would be placed in it right? He watched... in a horrifying expression as water appeared right in front of him.

"Please tell me that's just pee."

UGGGGGGH. DIDN'T THE PRINCESS FIX ALL OF THIS?! Cam quickly put up his chocolate bag on the bench, his hand reaching for his wand in case they appeared... AGAIN. Did they do all that rescuing and saving for NOTHING??

Miles walked in the great hall, and stood at the back, so he didn't really need to walk far. OOOOH, what was going on? It seemed like fun though. He stood with his hands in his pockets, and waited for something to happen.

"EUUURGH." Miles lifted one foot up as water was streaming through the hall, thank goodness it wasn't that much.

Theo entered the Great Hall. He blinked as it didn't really look like the Great Hall. He sat down on the Third Year row. He didn't really know what was going on. He hoped it was a party. He liked parties.

Siiiiigh.

There was water in the great hall, again. At this rate, I'm going to become a fish myself. She thought and leaned her chin on her hand. All the water the past few months, made her not want to go swimming anymore.

Kiri looked around the restored Great Hall with huge eyes. Just hours before, if she'd understood the frantic and excited reports of her classmates correctly, everything had been submerged, and now the 'Hall looked as if nothing had happened. The ceiling showed the sky, like usual. The tables were all there, and the benches, too - of course, Kiri thought wryly, those were so hardened by now they'd probably survive the Universe. But they were clean. No algae clinging to anything, no... water spots or whatever was appropriate damage in those circumstances. No sunken ships or buried treasure, either.

It felt oddly like her first day again to Kiri as she stumbled towards the bench for the third year students. She kept twisting her head and looking around. How bizarre. She tested the bench with her hands before sitting down. It wasn't even wet. She sat. The Headmaster stood at the front, surveying the 'Hall.
Kiri was looking at the points of the four houses, wondering how they'd fared underwater, when, behind her, people started shuffling and muttering in surprise. She turned around. There was... water. On the floor. Water.
