| | |  Gobstones Preliminary Match: Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, autumn air and its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's first preliminary match.
The green and yellow marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Slytherin and Hufflepuff Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

Mr Kitridge had walked in with his hands stuck in his coat pockets against the brisk morning air, the Ancient Runes Professor had graciously set up the hall for the first match so Leo could focus on lighting the fireplaces and getting warmed up. As the teams assembled he put his wand to his mouth to enhance his whistle to get the players attention. "Good morning and welcome to the Gobstones club, today's our first game of the season, I hope you're all as excited and geared up as I am." Not waiting for any responses Leo quickly signalled for the teams to choose their representatives for the first shot of the game.
"Let's begin!"

Tempus of Hufflepuff and Summers of Slytherin marched out for a new battle. The players nudged the stones of their houses, the green stone surpassed the yellow one significantly and stopped at a decent distance from the Jack Stone.
Yellow gob was sent the Snakes' way. "3 points to Slytherin! The standings are tied at 3-3 at the end of the first round." Leo announced.

The green stone rolled and rolled around a series of obstacles before it stopped in the middle of the court just before a new obstacle and sprayed up a gush of foul smelling gob in the air. The yellow stone rolled and rolled until it just passed it's opponent.
"2 point to Hufflepuff!" Leo announced, wrinkling his nose at the foul smell that filled the air.
