Cool. But how the heck could one escape from that?

How did Sirius escape from that? I mean, is it possible for someone to Apparate there when you're away from the bouilding or something?

i would not want to go there....but you would have to be able to apparate to and from there cause how would barty crouch and his wife be able to visit barty crouch jr. if you couldn't????

in the third book he said he turned into his animagus which is a big black dog since the dementors watch the cells they cannot see they have no eyes so they can't suck the happiness out of something like a dog so while the dementor opened sirius' cell to bring him his food he was so skinny sice he's been in azkaban for 12 years he slipped throught the bars and swam as a dog to the mainland
