Chapter One: Invisible

The brown eyed girl rested against the wooden chair in her parents kitchen, her black pen scratching fast along a yellowed piece of parchment, every now and then she'd pause to suck on the pen's tip in thought. She had already filled several pieces of paper quite like the one she was working on now, they lay in a neat stack next to her on the same mahogany table.

“ Dear Mischievous,

My newest dedication to you, has nearly driven my parents and brothers mad. I'm singing it out every other moment of the day but didn't get a chance to write it to you yet, I do hope you enjoy it.

I look around the world to see what there is to see
There's a whole big world that's welcoming me,

Today is one of the BEST days in my live Mischievous, there are days like this when I wished you existed! You know, because, your paper, and I want to share this day with you! I really do. It's uh-maze-ling! So are you honey buns! Okay. Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron are at the dinner, write to you later Myst, I love you and your uh-maze-ling-ness!

Mwha! Lily Luna Potter the uh-maze-ling.” The girl read aloud to herself before running over to the door and swinging it open, as soon as she opened the door she could tell something was wrong. Hermione's eyes were red and puffy, and Ron looked dead serious.” What?”

*** Two years later.

The same girl with hazel eyes had turned fourteen, the day before now. It had been two years since she heard her parents died in a car crash. She had grown up quite a bit over those two years, she now lived with her seventeen year old cousin, Miles Humphrey Weasley, Lily often described him as the sweetest thing to ever exist. Lily still wrote to her imaginary friend Mischievous, her only friend outside her family.

James and Albus lived with Ronald and Hermione, they hardly ever saw Lily now, she was quite and a year younger then Albus. Plus, both the boys were in Gryffindor, and Lily was in Slytherin, getting bored to tears by the non stop talk about Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley who had been dating for the past two years, the school still thought it was the couple of Hogwarts.

“ Lily-pie. Is breakfast ready?” Miles called down the stairs to his cousin.

“ Ja, come and get it well it's still hot.” Lily yelled back up to him, jotting a few more lines to Mischievous on the same paper she used two years ago.”

“ Dear Mischievous.

I miss you dearly, I wish you existed! I'm in dire need of help, all the girls at school tease me because I don't have any friends, and definitely not a boyfriend. But, hell, who needs one? At least that's what I tell them, I'm secretly pining for a knight in shining armour to come and save me from this stupid, stupid, stupid life of mine! Gah, I've been longing to know what it's like to kiss someone, to feel there soft and tender lips against mine.. Okay.. Now I'm scarring myself with my mushiness and sappiness. And most likely you.

But that's the sweet thing about you, you'll listen to my rants about how Scorpius is a git, my brothers are annoying, how I'm secretly longing for a guy friend, how I hate all the posh stuck up girls that where mini skirts at school and you don't give a damn for them. And you don't tell me Ohhhh Lily dear that's not nice! How I wish you where real.. How I wish I had my mother to tell me stories, to hold me close when ever I'm feeling down. Ah, those childish dreams of mine and how there sweetness surpassed me long ago with envy and doubt of the destroyed souls, I haven't the foggiest if I'm ranting to you or reciting poetry now darling!

Love Lily Luna.” Lily finished her muttering as she finished writing and Miles came down the stairs with a huge yawn right as she finished.

“ Hey darling, how's life treating you today?” Miles half grinned, half smirked at Lily who shrugged a little bit.” I know what you mean.”

“ Yea, somehow your the only one that understands me other then Mischievous.” Lily giggled slightly passing him a plate of pancakes.

“ Speaking of which, you need to get a friend Lily, I'm graduating this year. You need someone to listen to you, I'm not saying Myst isn't good enough for you, but it get's odd confiding in someone who's invisible and can't give you the advice you need.”

“ Invisible.” Lily murmured quietly, for some reason, to her the word meant so much more to her then not being seen. She spoke the word to herself repetitively in her head musing over it. For some reason, she felt, invisible...

Chapter Two: Confused

Dear Missy,

I am currently in a heartbroken state! My mother was on her way home and she apparently crashed in to Mr and Mrs Potter, the parents of my arch-nemesis and killed all of them, including herself. Now, I'm all alone. I have no idea where my father is ever since he became a drunkard and my mother left him. I'm confused! I need help. I don't know how much longer I can take this.

With all the love I have left, Amanda. Mel. Davies.

A girl with long brown hair sealed the letter and tied it to her owl, she then clenched her hands in to fists and cried in to them, she had scratched her cheeks till red marks remained there, cried herself to sleep for years on end, she finally decided to write to her best friend Missy. She had been in this emotional wreck for two years. Ever since she turned twelve. Suddenly the radio started playing a song which Mel recognized, I run to you.

“ Ya know. I wish I could have someone to run to.” Mel fumed throwing the first thing that came in to her reach at the wall, her anger had been building up inside her. Living at a foster home because there was no one to take her in. Living as a complete wreck in life and everything else. She was never able to grow up as a child she thought, her father disappeared when she was young and Mel had to take care of her mother until she recovered, then she had to skip her first year at Hogwarts because of moving around and not being able to pay the rent.

“ AMANDA MELONY DAVIES! THERE IS SOMEONE HERE FOR YOU!” Clarke called up the stairs to the Asian girl who slipped off her bed and headed downstairs. She was shocked to see who she saw.

“ Jacob.” She breathed the word as if it was something that would make all her troubles go away.

“ Hey Mel.” Jacob Pine smirked widely at Amanda and hugged her tightly.” Let's go to Diagon Alley and get our stuff, I'm bored to tears.” He then pulled her on to his back causing Amanda to laugh hard.

“ Thanks for coming Jake, oh yea. I did it, I wrote to Missy.” Amanda Mel smiled fighting back tears of sorrow and joy, she was in total confusion, all the time. Even when she was with Jake who helped her a lot through out the years.

“ Glad I could be of as-YOU WROTE TO HER! YAY! I mean. Wow, that's.. That's really good of you.” Jake chuckled then pulled her outside.” Let's go, Marissa offered to drive us there.” He said, referring to his older sister.

“ Marissa is always really nice.” Mel fought back her feelings of confusion and followed Jake, trying not to feel so confused...

Chapter Three: Teardrops

My breaths were ragged and it almost masked the faint, heartbroken sounds of my choked sobs in my throat, long overdue for the memories that would be eternal in my soul, my parents perfect and immaculate memories. There faces, which I thought I would never gaze upon again, the sorrow building up inside of me for my bitter last words to my wonderful, yet imperfect father. No one was perfect, but memories could be.

I leaned over the small sparkling rive which ran fast and true as if the devil himself was right behind it, it swept gracefully and swiftly across the soft sandy banks and water grass beneath it's cold body, a young and tiny black water bug skipped along the shining surface of the water, and a small tadpole barely visible flitted around in circles chasing it's own tail, the sight almost made me laugh, but I was so near crying it wasn't possible.

I saw mother natures gift of divine beauty around me in the massive trees, the thick thorn bushes and the tall and lean firs. It was a gift mother nature granted to this land thousands of years ago, just like fourteen years ago she granted the unwanted yet accepted all the same, the gift of magic and the gift of hopelessness. Yes, I was hopeless, at everything I tried to do, but then I didn't even try my best to complete the nearly impossible tasks in front of me.

I reached towards the depth of the cool water with my tiny pale hand the contact of not only made ripples of sadness in the water but also rippled through out my body just under the skin tearing up any reflection of my parents, making the gaping hole in my heart bigger and deeper, shadows seemed to flood my eyes as my sight blurred, then I felt something moist, salty, pure and chaste, yet full of sorrow, roll down my cheek and off my ruby re lips into the stream creating yet another ripple, soon more followed.

I then felt the heavens open up there eyes and I could almost hear it's wails as they wept with me, as our troubles turned into the most indescribable thing in the whole world excluding the forlorn and disgustingly abandonment of love, they formed in to something which I should have never produced, something which made me feel weak, they formed in to teardrops. There was no single mind like mine in the world feeling this way, I knew it before my sorrows formed into Teardrops.

*** Longbottom Mansion


“ Septimus. Let's go.” Skar called to his friend, getting annoyed.” Your going to miss the rain.” He then added, both of the boys loved rain.

“ I'm coming you stupid prat!” Septimus Snape ran down the last flight of stairs in Longbottom Mansion where he was staying with his best friend, Skar Longbottom. He pulled his dark grey hoodie over his head before stepping outside in to the torrent's of rain.

“ I love rain. C'mon, let's take a walk in the woods. And maybe we can go swimming in the small stream.” Skar joked punching Septimus. Who shoved him in response.

“ I love it more then you do, cause you love Jamie Lyre Frost.” Septimus teased in response. Earning himself another punch.

“ Miss Frost to you, and if you ever try and insult her-” Skar was cut off by Septimus.

“ I wasn't going to insult Miss Frost! Calm down mate. Now let's go, before your dad comes home and murders us brutally and then your mom is going to throw a fit when she comes home. Isn't weird staying home with your sister Alice all day, alone?” Septimus asked as the two boys entered the forest, already completely drenched.

“ You better not have.” Skar muttered dangerously.” Nah, I'm used to it, though when I was younger mum and dad had Mrs Frost baby sit us.”

“ I bet you enjoyed that.” This time Septimus was able to dodge the blow aimed for his head.” JUST KIDDING!” He gasped running away towards the stream, he almost ran in to a young girl with red hair crying by the stream.” Woah, are you alright?” He asked immediately, not recognizing her at first.

“ SEPTIMUS YOU STUPID IDIOT!” Skar shouted at his friend then slowed down seeing Lily Potter.” Lils! Are you alright?” He repeated Septimus' words with out even realizing it.

“ I'm.. I. I'm fine.” She managed to say, but sobbed harder. Why in the name of Merlin was she affected now by her parents death, and why was she found by Septimus and Skar?! Lily barely noticed how dizzy and light headed she was feeling, or how cold she was. Until everything went black for her.

“ Damn!” Septimus muttered as Lily fainted, immediately he scooped her up in his arms and started carrying her back towards the Longbottoms home, trying to ignore Skar's laughter.” Shut up! Your not helping.”

“ Yea, but your carrying. Lily. Potter!” Skar broke down in to a uncontrollable fit of laughter.

“ That's because you have the brains and no brawn so you can't carry her, yet I. Do quidditch, which makes me strong and muscular. Plus I naturally have brains.” Septimus snapped at Skar, and kicked his shin.

“ OUCH! That freaking hurt!” Skar yelped.

“ Open the door git.” Septimus rolled his eyes at his best friend.

“ Oh yea, I got it. Lay her down right her on the couch.” Skar glared at Septimus and went to go find Alice who was hoping to be a healer...
