oh i missed the posts again...but i have caught up...noth of them are nice...keep posting...

Mia entered a Muggle shop, holding a slip of paper she approached a counter where a muggle teenage girl stood. She looked up at Mia and smiled.
"Welcome to Blockbuster, how can I help you?"

"You got a WHAT?" asked James, not sure he understood what his sister said.
"I got a job." said Mia simply. She and the Marauders were sitting in James's room with a large pile of sweets on the floor, they had gone to Diagon Alley and they had restocked themselves on sweets, dungbombs and other prank accessories. Mia picked up a bertie bott's every flavor beans box and popped a bean in her mouth only to spit it out when she found she had just eaten a soup flavored bean, "I applied at a muggle store called blockbuster. It's really interesting, it's this shop full of these weird black boxes with shiny black tape on the inside called movies. They're things muggle play with to entertain themselves..."
"Why would you apply for a job when that job is for muggles?" asked Sirius, exasperated.
"Because it will take my mind off of my breakup with Severus. Also, it will be nice to actually associate with muggles and see if they're really what my Muggle Studies professor describe they are."
"I knew that class would be bad for you." said James, shaking his head, as if ashamed.
"Oh, come on Prongs," said Remus, "This might be good for Mia. For all we know her Muggle Studies O.W.L.s might end up mentioning muggle entertainment. I think we should be supporting Mia."
"Moony, how could you?" said Sirius dramatically.
"How could I what?" asked Remus, confused.
"Poor young Mia has just had her heart broken and you want to try to get with her? Shame on you!"
"Aw, shuddup."
"Nah, he couldn't be hitting on Mia..." said James.
"Thanks, Prongs."
"Cuz we're going out. Unless..." he suddenly gasped dramatically, "You're cheating on me for my sister! Moony, how dare you!" James and Sirius started laughing hard but they were silenced when Remus and Mia threw dungbombs at them. Mia, Remus, and Peter ran out of the room and Mia barracaded the door shut while Sirius and James were trapped in the room, yelling in disgust as the smell of dung reached their noses.

"When are you guys getting some more copies of the Godfather?" a teenage girl asked Mia on her first day on the job.
"I think next week." answered Mia. She knew she had to check on the computor but she had already forgotten how even after Alex, her coworker, showed her at least three times.
"Let me check." said Alex. She typed something on the computor and said, "One copy is scheduled to be turned in on Wednesday."
"Thank you."
When the girl walked away from the counter, Alex said to Mia under her breath, "Do you want me to write the instructions for you?"
"Could you?" asked Mia, desperate. While Alex wrote down the instructions on a piece of paper, Mia put her elbow on the counter and laid her head down on her hand and said to Alex, "I'm sorry, it's just that I haven't really used a computor before. I don't even have one at home either."
"Really?" Alex asked, raising her eyebrows, "That's surprising. Everybody I know owns a computor. Or at least knows how to use one for that matter."
"Well my family is a bit old fashioned."
"Is it too late to apply for the job?"
Mia looked up and saw a boy who was slightly older than her standing across from her at the counter. She couldn't help but notice how, well...hot this boy was. He had shoulder lengthed brown hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned skin, and was slightly muscular. He was wearing a white longsleeved shirt under a blue t-shirt and was wearing slightly baggy dark blue jeans.
"Sorry, but Mia here already got the job." Alex told the boy. Mia straightened up and tried to use the computor by using the instructions Alex wrote for her. Gee, thanks a lot, Alex Mia was thinking. She heard the boy say, "Okay, it's cool." But he still stood there. When Alex turned away from the counter the boy leaned toward Mia and said under his breath, "To tell you the truth, I didn't really come in here for a job."
"So you came in here for a movie?" Mia asked. She knew she just sounded like an idiot asking the boy that question.
"No," said the boy, chuckling, "I wanted to ask a certain black haired girl if she would like to have a coffee with me some time."
Mia didn't need to look around to see who he was talking about, he knew this boy was asking out Alex.
"Sorry to disappoint you but Alex already has a boyfriend." This was true, she had accidentally walked in on Alex making out with a boy out back during break.
"I wasn't talking about your friend, I meant..." the nervously moved his hand through his brown hair, "Let me try this again. Would you like to have a coffee with me sometime?"
Oh, I'm such an idiot! Mia was thinking. "Of course," she answered "What time?"
"What time do you get off work?" asked the boy.
"I get off at four."
"See you then. My name is Micheal Packer, by the way."
"Mia Potter." she answered back.
When Micheal walked out of the store, Mia had to repress her urge to jump in the air and whoop.
"Hey Mia, I could use some help here!"
Mia looked at the counter and saw that Alex was taking care of a long line of customers.
"I can help you here!"

"Where were you?" James asked Mia at dinner when she finally came home. Her date with Micheal had lasted longer than she expected it to be. "I thought you were supposed to be off work at three, it's now..." he checked his watch, "Seven!"
"Geez James I don't see mum or dad freaking out." said Mia, "So why should you be?"
"That's actually what we want to know too, dear." said Mrs. Potter, "Why are you home so late?"
"It's nothing okay?" said Mia hanging up her coat and sitting next to Sirius at the table, "I just hung out with some friends from work and that's it."
"What just fell out of your coat pocket?" asked James as her practically ran to the coat rack to pick up a small piece of paper. Mia jumped out of her chair but too late.
"'Micheal's number.'" James read out loud, he looked at up at Mia, Who is Micheal?"
"He's just a friend I met at work, okay?" snapped Mia, snatching the small paper from him and pocketing it.
"Mia are you dating already?" asked Mr. Potter.
"Oh what, is it wrong for a girl to be friends with a boy?" asked Mia angrily.
"It was a yes or no question, Mia." said Mrs. Potter.
"No! Why is it I can make one friend that's not a girl without having people jump down my throat?" she grabbed her coat from the coat rack and headed straight for the door. "I need some air." she said, before anyone asked. She slammed the door behind her and walked down the street, not even paying attention to wear she was going. She suddenly heard muffled shouting and looked up at a familiar house. She stood across the street from the house, listening the shouts and screams coming from the Snape family. She saw the front door open and close and saw a figure running away from the house and to the sidewalk. She watched him sit down on the curb. She wanted to go to him, wanted to talk to him, wanted to hug him, but she knew she couldn't. She turned her back on her exboyfriend and walked back towards her house.

"Lily I'm so glad you came!" Mia happily yelled as she hugged her friend. She had asked Lily to come over the day before to sleep over for the weekend.
“I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner!” said Lily, squeezing Mia, “It must have been a nightmare, stuck here for a whole month with your brother and Black!”
“You know you want me, Flower!” said James from the living room.
Ignoring James, Mia said as she led Lily upstairs to her room. “They’re definitely driving me crazy now because I’m seeing someone.”
“Really? You never mentioned that in your letter! Who is he? What’s his name?”
“His name is Micheal and he’s this Muggle boy I met at work.”
“What’s he like?”
“He’s really cute, funny, cute, shy, cool, and cute.” said Mia.
“Sounds cute.” Lily said, giggling a little as she put her bag onto the cot she’s sleeping in.
“I hope you don’t mind sleeping on a cot, Lil.” said Mia, nervously, “Sirius already took the spare room when my folks let him live here.”
“I’m fine,” Lily said reassuringly to Mia, “It wouldn’t be a sleepover if we slept in different rooms. Anyway, when are you going to see Micheal again?”
“I’m planning on seeing him again Wednesday for coffee. I’m pretty nervous though because I don’t know if he’s going to show up.”
“Why wouldn’t he?”
Mia sighed, “Well, I'm not...pretty.”
Lily put her hand on Mia’s shoulder, “Oh, Mia, why would you say that?”
“Well, look at you! Look at me! I’m not pretty or popular like you or Keely or Meg or any of our other girlfriends.”
“Mia, you are pretty, you just need your hair done a little and maybe a little lip gloss…” Lily suddenly had an idea, “I have an idea, how about I give you a makeover before dinner? We can surprise your mum, dad, and the toe rags!”
“Do you really think it will work?” Mia asked hopefully.
“Mia, I’m the one who persuaded Meg to wear makeup and you know how hard that was!” she and Mia laughed. Lily opened her bag and reached inside it. She pulled out a makeup bag and opened it.
“Let’s get started.”

Whe Lily was done she took a step back from Mia, smiling wide.
"Look in the mirror."
Mia looked and was amazed by how she looked.
"I look like a real teenager." she said, admiring her look.
"Remember, the real lady is what's underneath the mask." Lily said, hugging Mia.
“Mia, dear!” called Mrs. Potter, “Time for dinner!”
Lily ran downstairs and into the dining room.
“She’ll be down in a second,” She said, excitedly, “She’s just doing some finishing touches.”
“Finishing touches for what?” asked Mr. Potter.
As if waiting for her cue, Mia entered the dining room after her father asked. Her hair was no longer frizzy or curly but straight, her bangs were no longer on her forehead they were now brushed to the side, she wore pink eye shadow, black eyeliner and mascara, her cheeks were rosy and she was wearing red lipstick. Her nails were covered in red nail polish. She wore a red shirt with a black tank top underneath and black pants. As she walked to the table her back was straight and her chin was up. Mr. and Mrs. Potter, James, and Sirius stared as she approached the table while Lily smiled with pride at her work. Seeing Sirius staring at Mia with his mouth opened, she leaned close to him and whispered “Take a picture, it'll last longer.”
Mia heard this and laughed softly as she sat down next to Lily.

Hahaha, that was really cute! I loved what Lily said to Sirius, oh and that comment of James's when Lily first got there... Great post as always! PLEASE PAMS!!!!

I’m back!!

After Mia’s makeover, she started to make herself look better than she usually did like now she wears makeup and does her hair. She’s also started to wear clothes that weren’t so baggy on her. She invited her friends over to spend the week over. Samantha and Jennifer came but Lauren couldn’t come for some reason.
“You look so good!” said Samantha, inspecting one of her best friends.
“I should, Lily worked hard on me.” said Mia, smiling.

“What do you feel like doing tonight?” asked Jennifer on their last evening.
“Well I don’t have to work tonight or tomorrow,” said Mia, “You guys wanna go out to that diner down the block?”
“I have a better idea,” said Samantha, coming into the room with a letter in her hand, “You guys wanna go to a party?”
“Whose party is it?” asked Jennifer.
“Hillary’s.” answered Samantha
“Your own snobby sister actually invited you?” asked Mia in disbelief.
“Yeah. My parents are out of town for a couple nights so she’s throwing a party.”
“I don’t know…”
At that moment Sirius came into the room, eating something.
“Mia, your mum says your laundry is done.”
“Okay.” When she reached the door, she noticed something in Sirius’s hand. “What are you eating?”
“Chocolate frog.”
“That’s my chocolate frog!”
Sirius spat his mouthful into his hand and offered it to Mia. “Want it back?”
“Real mature, Padfoot.” said Samantha, rolling her eyes, annoyed.
“Let me just remind you that if it weren’t for me, you, my brother, and Peter would still be trying to make that Animagus potion.” said Mia, completely annoyed.
“Yeah, yeah, and the Marauders are eternally in your debt.” said Sirius, walking away. When Sirius was out of earshot, Mia turned to the other two.
“Let’s do it.”

“Mum, Jen, Sam and I are going to that muggle diner.” Mia called to her mother when she and her friends were at the door.
“Are you going to need a ride?” called back Mrs. Potter
“No thanks, Sam’s sister is waiting outside for us!” called Mia, going out the door.
“Don’t be home too late!”
“We won’t!” and Mia shut the door and the three girls hurried to Hillary’s car.

“Is it boring in here or is it just me?” asked Jennifer a few hours later at the party.
“I’m surprised that Hillary didn’t invite the Marauders.” said Mia
“She said that she did but they couldn’t come because of Moony’s uh,” Sam looked around the crowded room in case anyone was listening, “Furry little problem.”
“I bet they’re having the time of their lives.” Mia said, laughing softly.
“Probably having a part of their own.” said Jennifer, she sighed, “I wish we were Animagi too.”
Mia shuffled her feet and looked around and Sam understood.
“You are one aren’t you?”
“What would give you that idea?” asked Mia in an unconvincing innocent manner.
“You are one!” said Jennifer, “What the heck? Why didn’t you give us any of that potion?”
“Because I was breaking the law enough as it is by having my brother and his friends become Animagi,” said Mia, “I didn’t want to drag my best friends into it.”
“But why did you drink it yourself instead of throwing the rest of it away?” asked Sam
“You know my mother, if she saw that stuff she’d know right away what it was and she’d kill me and James.”
The three were silent for a while. Finally Jennifer asked, “So what kind?”
“Eagle.” answered Mia.

“Mum, we’re back.” said Mia when she and the others got back at ten. James came bounding downstairs. “James? I thought you were with the others.”
“Moony is fine, he’s got Padfoot and Wormtail.” said James. He looked upset and scared. Mia knew something was up.
“James, what’s wrong?”
“Dad had a heart attack. He and Mum are at St. Mungo’s right now.”

It's about time! Haha, jk. I'm glad you're back! I've missed this story.

After that night things were never the same at the Potter house. Everyone wore black and no one talked much. Mrs. Potter tried not to cry in front of anybody. Whenever she felt something was going to happen she would make an excuse to leave the room then cry in her bedroom or outside. James and Sirius hadn't made a joke or smiled for weeks. Mia started to look like she did before her makeover. After what happened she quit her job, she wanted to be at home and she didn't want anyone to see her cry. Mia never even went down to dinner. She just stayed in her room all day. The only time she left her room was to use the bathroom or to get some food or something to drink which was hardly ever.

"Write me a letter as soon as you get there, dears." said Mrs. Potter as she kissed James, Sirius, and Mia goodbye. It was time for the three of them to return to Hogwarts.
"We will, Mum." said James as he accepted his mother's kiss on his cheek.
Mrs. Potter looked at Mia and brushed Mia's hair behind her ear. She kissed her daughter's forehead. "I wish you wouldn't cover your face like this, sweetheart. Promise me you'll pull your hair back more."
"Sure, Mum." sighed Mia.
After James, Sirius, and Mia got on the train and waved to Mrs. Potter as the train went, Mia took her hair out from behind her ear and let it fall in front of her face. She silently followed James and Sirius to a compartment on the train. Even with all the Marauders in one compartment, there was only silence. No laughter, no Exploding Snap, no talks of Quidditch, nothing.

Awe I feel so sad for them, that was a really depressing but good post. Need a happy post to cheer me up now...please?

"How is she doing?" Lily asked James and Sirius while they were in the library studying. It's been a week since they came back to Hogwarts and Mia hasn't talked to anyone, she hasn't been doing any of her work, and she's been letting herself fall apart.
"She's not even close to moving on," said James, "She and Dad were really close. She's not the only one feeling this way either. Mum's been really worrying about us. Voldemort taking over is really starting to scare her." He, Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Peter looked over at Mia, who was sitting at a table by herself, just staring absentmindly at her parchment.
"Have any of you tried sitting with her?" asked Lily.
"She was sitting at this table when we came along," said Peter, "When we sat down she stood up and moved to that table."
"You know the worst part of it is?" James asked the group, "Quidditch."
"Potter, that's so selfish!" said Lily, "You're father just died and your sister is upset and you're thinking about the upcoming match? How can you even think about-"
"No, I don't mean that! I mean Mia wants to try out for Quidditch this year! She knows Mum won't approve and how worried she is but she just doesn't care! I don't want her to try out either, last time she was this upset on a broomstick she almost died! I don't know what to do."
"Have you tried talking to her?" asked Remus.
"Of course, but she won't listen to me! It's like as if she wants to get herself killed!"
"Hold on," said Peter slowly, "You don't think..."
"No, no!" said Sirius, looking at Mia, "There's no way!"

Try outs were really hard for James, being captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Mia did really well trying out for Seeker, in fact she was better than the other students trying out, even the boys. He didn't want to put her on the team, though, because he was thinking about what their mother would say but he had no choice but to put her on the team. Hillary also tried out and got Chaser position which didn't really make Mia feel any better because she couldn't stand her. This also didn't work for James because Hillary was still not over their breakup in fourth year. She only tried out for the team because she wanted to try and get James back, even though she knew that he was now in love with Lily.

I have to go somewhere right now, sorry. I'll post again as soon as I can

I again agree with Emily...I hope Sirius is the one that ends up cheering up Mia though and maybe I don't know she's in the hospital wing when it happens from a quidditch injury and the only reason she stays to listen is because madam pomphrey won't let her leave her bed and she can't sleep and doesn't have her wand to shut him up...lol that'd be hilarious and sad at the same time....just giving ideas hope you don't mind anyways loved the post even though it was sad PAMS (a happy one preferably)

“Prongs! Over here!”
James threw the quaffle to Sirius who caught it easily. Sirius flew to the three hoops and was able to score. Gryffindor cheered loudly as they scored another ten points, making them fifty points ahead of Slytherin. Mia looked around for the snitch. She ducked as a bludger nearly hit her head. She suddenly saw a glint of gold by the hoops and started speeding towards it. She looked around and saw that Regulas has also seen the snitch and is flying towards it. Mia urged her broom to go faster as she saw Regulas get closer to the snitch. Sirius, seeing Regulas and Mia speeding towards the snitch, took the quaffle from a Slytherin chaser and started flying towards the goal hoops. He made sure to speed across Regulas before scoring so he could distract his little brother from the snitch. This idea worked Mia was able to get to the snitch before Regulas could even reach the hoops. Mia raised her left arm in the air to show that she caught the snitch. Everyone except the Slytherins cheered as Gryffindor won the game. Mia suddenly felt pain in her left side and fell off her broom.
“Mia!” shouted James as he flew towards his sister to catch her but Sirius beat her to it. He held out his arms when he was right underneath her and caught her. He lowered her to the ground where she clutched her side painfully.
“What happened?” asked Mia, grunting in pain.
“The Slytherin beater sent a bludger at you when he saw you with the snitch,” answered James as he landed next to her and Sirius, “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.” Mia grunted, trying to stand up but fell back down when she felt pain in her ribs.
“Her ribs might be broken.” said Lily, kneeling next to Mia, “We better get her to the Hospital Wing.”
“I just told you, I’m fine!” said Mia, trying to get up again. Sirius and James helped her to her feet.
“Come on, Madam Pomfrey will heal you in a minute.” said Sirius

“What happened to ‘Madam Pomfrey will heal you in a minute’?” an irritated Mia asked Sirius from behind the curtains as she struggled to get her pajamas on. Lily helped her get them on over her head.
“How was I supposed to know she was gonna force you to stay overnight?” asked Sirius.
“This was why I didn’t want to go.” said Mia, pulling back the curtains after her pajamas were on. “I hate sleeping here.”
“How long will she have to stay here?” James asked Madam Pomfrey
“Just tonight.” She answered, busying herself over Mia’s medicine.
“See?” said Peter, “You’ll only have to stay here tonight.”
“Come on, Mia.” James said, sitting in a chair next to Mia’s bed. “We’ll stay with you until it’s time for you to go to sleep.”
“She needs to rest now.” said Madam Pomfrey, sternly.
“Well, see ya tomorrow.”
James patted Mia on the shoulder and walked out with Remus, Peter, and Lily. Sirius stayed behind.
“Come on, Padfoot.” said Peter.
“You guys go on,” said Sirius, “I’ll catch up.”
The Hospital Wing doors closed.
“Black, Potter needs to rest.” said Madam Pomfrey as she fluffed Mia’s pillows.
“Can I please just talk to her privately for five minutes?” asked Sirius, “It’s pretty important.”
“Can’t it wait tomorrow?”
“Afraid not, ma’am.”
Madam Pomfrey sighed, annoyed.
“Fine,” she answered, “But just five minutes.” she walked to her office and shut the door.
“What do you want, Padfoot?” asked Mia.
“We need to talk about what’s happening to you, lately.” said Sirius as he sat down at the foot of Mia’s bed.
“There’s nothing going on with me, okay? Now just go away.”
“See? There it is.”
“I said go away!” Mia reached out for her wand on the bedside table but she saw that it was gone, “Where’s my-?” she looked up and saw that Sirius was holding her wand. “Give me my wand!”
“No.” said Sirius, pocketing the wand, “I am going to speak my mind and you are going to listen. For the past few months you’ve done nothing but avoid your family and your friends, you won’t talk to anyone, you’re not showing any emotion except anger; you’re just a big angry blah.”
“How can I not feel this way, Sirius?” asked Mia, angrily, “I just broke up with my boyfriend, my dad just died, you and James are getting angry over me dating new boys, and I just found out my ribs are broken.”
“I know things have been bad for you lately.” said Sirius, he tried to look into Mia’s eyes but she looked away, “I understand how it feels. I ran away from a family that despised me, I lost the man who’s been a real father to me, and I’ve been worrying about your health and safety for months.”
Mia continues to avoid his eyes.
“I just want you to know that you’re not alone. We can help you through this. You have friends here that can help you and will do anything to protect you. I guess that’s why I got upset about you dating a new guy. When I heard you were dating this Micheal guy, I just felt…I just felt…”
“Jealous?” Mia finished for him, looking at him.
Sirius looked into Mia’s eyes only this time she didn’t look away.
“Yeah,” he answered, “Jealous.”
Sirius stood up, took a couple steps over to Mia and kissed her. She didn’t even shove him away.
“Your five minutes are up!” called out Madam Pomfrey.
Sirius and Mia ignored her, they continued to kiss.
“Excuse me!”
They continued to ignore her. She strode over to Mia’s bed, pulled Sirius away from Mia and forced him out the door. Sirius laughed a little while she did this. Mia couldn’t help but laugh silently as Madam Pomfrey fluffed her pillow again, muttering to herself.
