Connie, my floridian friend, I had a great time. I'm sure you have had a look at my fb pictures. It was the best week of my life!

It's sad to see Ron and Harry at odds with each other. They are going through so much, and they know there will be more hardships. I do think it sweet of Ron to think of Ginny. He knows the possibility of something happening to Harry, and doesn't want her hurt.
I try to see Ron as the big brother. But I don't have one so its difficult to try and get in that frame of mind but I imagine he would be a little overprotective, especially because she is at a vulnarable age.

Great work Sophie. I'll be watching for your next.
Thanks Connie!

Its nice that there is a wedding after the death of Dumbledore, lightens the mood I guess. When I first started reading this and I figured out that Bill and Fleur had been married they year before I was disappointed that nothing could lighten the mood but guess what??!! You did it!
lol, I'm glad you think so. The wedding part is going to be really short but you will see lots more of Katie and Charlie.

I'm all for the whole overprotective brother thing, but not the insulting of said little sister. Honestly, I've always thought Ginny was more mature than Ron, especially when it came to the opposite sex...
I think Ron likes the responsiblilty of having a little sister even if Ginny is more mature!

Thanks Emily. We've still got a wee bit to go before we see you but not much.

I like the fact that you keep her in character. I always considered Ginny as a strong willed and somewhat a stubborn character that is more practical than say Hermione. I like her hard fist personality.
Thanks Ava. I like her personality too!

Just a wee note...
I like to thank everyone who nominated me for the Golden Goblins. I never expected to get nominations or anything, so it was a wonderful surprise. So thank you very much and well done to the rest of you who got nominations- you certainly deserve them and can count on my vote. So well done ladies

“Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.” I went to sit back in my seat beside the small gathering of friends and family.
Katie and Charlie were called to stand in front of us to say their vows.
The wedding was an evening affair. So as they proclaimed their love to each other the bright golden sun cast lovely pink shades across the summer sky.
And who would have guessed that the very next day I would be off to a distant place, over the warm tropical oceans and icy mountains. That’s right- Rome!
I have never been quite so fascinated in my entire life before taking off on an aeroplane. Harry laughed and told me I was getting as bad as my dad being so engrossed by Muggle contraptions. If I hadn’t known any better, I would have said flying on an aeroplane was magic.
We stayed in the most beautiful villa, nestled up in the hills and looking out onto the lake. I never knew such a place existed. I fell in love with it.
On the last night, we decided to head into Rome in the evening to see the nightlife.
We booked a table at a fancy recommended restaurant and we decided to dress in our finest for the final night. Harry was looking handsome in a blue striped shirt and cream chinos and I wore a floaty shirt and plain white top
Now it was warm, of course it was warm but Harry was sweating buckets.
“Harry, are you sure you’re ok.” I reached across the table and touched his clammy hand.
“
That’s three times you’ve asked me. I promise you I’m fine.” He assured me as he mopped his brow.
“
Drink some water.” I told him and pushed the ice cold glass toward him. I watched the condensation run down the side as he ignored my offering.
“Harry!” “Sorry,” he said snapping out of his daydream and gulping from the glass.
We went dancing afterwards at a small lively bar. We were the last ones to leave after the owner had to ask us kindly at 1.30 in the morning. We strolled hand in hand to the Trevi fountain but there was still something about Harry that didn’t seem quite right. He seemed on edge and uptight. I sat on the steps that looked onto the fountain. It was empty and completely different from the busy daytime street. Now deserted, Harry and I were the only people in the place. I went into my purse and pulled out three coins. I closed my eyes and tossed the first one into the fountain. “
I wish that I get that scholarship for the Holyhead Harpies.”
I tossed the second and listened for the splash
“I wish that one day, Harry and I will get married.”
And the final coin, well traditionally your third wish is always
“I wish that I will return to Rome!”
I opened my eyes. Harry was right in front of me.
“Ginny,” He held my hands in his trembling own,
“I’ve been waiting all night for this.” And then he got down on one knee.
