Hello all!!!
My name is Alexis and I'm in school for creative writing, so I've decided to try once again to write a story that people love. And since I love HP I figured why not write a fan fiction! So here goes.

**Warning** All characters and places previously written by J.K. Rowling are her creation. And belong to her. I do not own them.

However! the characters that aren't cannon have been created and developed by me.


CHAPTER ONE

Damian walked towards the platform, a mundane activity that he had been doing for the past five years. Once again he was off to Hogwarts, he walked through the portal and onto platform 9 3/4. It was monotonous, the same thing year after year, even the classes seemed to be the same. He walked through the platform towards the train bored with the people that walked around him. Classmates that he recognized, first years that he didn't, but there were only two people that he regarded as friends, and neither one of them where here yet.

As he climbed onto the train he caught the glimpse of a girl he didn't recognize walk into a compartment. They were too old to be a first year, most likely a transfer. She wore tight blue jeans with black high heeled boots that ended just below her knee and a dark green tank top. Her hair was dark brown and pulled into a ponytail. Damian was intrigued so he followed her. As he reached the compartment that she had turned into he felt his feet leave the ground and landed hard on his back. He let out a huff and tried to catch his breath. He felt weight on his chest and opened his eyes to see the girl with her foot on his chest.
"Cordelia!" he heard the tell tale voice of Draco Malfoy say from further up the train car. The girl looked in the direction and smiled. Cordelia took her foot of of Damian's chest and stepped around him. She walked right into the arms of Malfoy and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips. Damian sat up and rolled his eyes at Malfoy. "What are you doing on the floor Damian?" Malfoy asked. Draco was one of Damian's two friends. They met during first year and had been friends ever since. They were the same personality type strong and controlling.
"I'm on the floor because of your girlfriend there." Damian said acidly and stood up. He brushed his clothes off and walked towards Draco.
"You got dropped by a girl?" Draco asked holding back a laugh. Damian just rolled his eyes and walked past Draco and into their usually compartment. Draco let out his laugh and walked into the compartment after Damian and Cordelia followed them. Damian couldn't help but look at her, their was something different about her.

I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when I read what Cordelia did to Damian.. Hm, I like Damian, he's friends with Draco, he's awesome

CHAPTER TWO

Cordelia sat in Draco's lap as the train started moving on towards Hogwarts. She had heard many stories from her parents and from Draco's. They were old friends, the Malfoy's and the Katharos's. It had been a while since she'd Draco, she had moved back to Greece for the first five years of her studies. Then her parents decided it would be best for her to finish her studies at Hogwarts.
"So who are you?" she heard a Damian ask a bit annoyed. Cordelia just chuckled and climbed out of Draco's lap and sat on the bench next to the window.
"Since you asked so nicely," Cordelia said with a smile, "My name is Cordelia." She wasn't usually this nice, but she knew that him and Draco were friends so she decided to not be so mean. Cordelia felt Draco's fingers playing with the bottom of her tank top. She just rolled her eyes and looked at Damian. He looked nice enough.
"Oh, well I figured that much." Damian replied with a huff. Cordelia chuckled to herself, she seemed to make him nervous, he was red in the cheeks and talked in short staccato sentences. She kept staring at him. Finally Damian cleared his throat and stretched the collar from his neck and stood up. "I'm going for a walk." he said and walked out of the compartment. Draco had been staring out into space, thinking about things he would never tell her. He nodded as Damian left the compartment. Then he turned to Cordelia.
"So, you ready for this year?"
"I know what needs to be done."
"Good. It's nice to have you on my arm once again."
"And you know you're the only arm i'll ever be on." Cordelia finished and smiled out the window. Draco was the only guy she'd ever walk behind. And even sometimes with him she had fights. But they loved each other. At least thought they did.

Draco and Cordelia are not meant to be! It's me and Draco, everyone knows that! *huffs* Haha, just kidding! Hmph, I don't like Cordelia, but wait, Greece? I want to go to Greece! Garrr!
Even though they may be short, they seem very filling, lot's of fun to read for sure!
haha, Draco is such a cutie! It seems that he and Cordelia have a lovely, gorgeous relationship, that's so sweet!

CHAPTER THREE

The train finally got to Hogsmeade, they had changed into their school robes. Cordelia had decided to wear a black skirt with her boots and black robe. As they got off the train the first years were led towards the Black Lake and everyone else got on the carriages and headed up to the castle. Draco looked around the platform for Damian and Ryder. He hadn't seen Ryder on the train but he usually showed up sooner or later. He offered his arm for Cordelia and she accepted. They walked towards the carriages and found Damian and Ryder sitting in one waiting for them.
"Took you long enough Draco!" he heard Ryder quip as he climbed in. He offered his hand to help Cordelia up. Damian raised his eyebrows. There was no way that a girl that could drop him would need help getting into a carriage. He stared at her a while longer and then let it drop and focused in on the conversation between Draco and Ryder.
"--oh you wish." Draco finished he sentence and took a seat next to Cordelia. He looked over her features and saw the tension in her jaw. Draco leaned in and whispered in her ear. "What's wrong love?" Cordelia just shook her head and closed her eyes, whispered words that sounded like a prayer to Draco. He just shrugged his shoulders and watched as her features relaxed.
They finally pulled up to the castle and jumped out of the carriage. Cordelia looked around at the architecture and the surroundings, she saw a tall man dressed in all black waiting by the door.
"Miss Katharos?" the voice asked. She walked up to him and nodded. "Follow me please." Cordelia looked back at Draco and nodded in his direction. She'd meet up with him later. They climbed up several stone staircases and finally found themselves outside the doors to the Great Hall. "We've been expecting you Miss Katharos. We hope that you like your stay here. You've been pre-sorted into Slytherin. I'm Professor Snape, Potions teacher and also Head of Slytherin house. If you have any questions or problems i'm here to help you." Cordelia just looked at him.
"Yes, Sir." she said curtly and turned on her heel and followed the rest of the students into Great Hall. She spotted Draco and sat down in between him and Damian. Ryder sat across from them and was rambling on about something. Cordelia just sat quietly and looked around the room. She felt Draco's hand on her knee and turned to face him and smiled. She leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips. Ryder broke off his sentence and started hooting and hollering about the kiss. Cordelia noticed a girl staring at Draco. "Who's that?" she asked Damian inclining her head in the direction of the girl.
Damian just smiled and shook his head. "That, is Pansy. She's been in love with Draco since first year. Never lets up. Gotta love the commitment." Cordelia just looked at the girl and smiled. "Draco can do whatever he wants."
Just then the Headmaster got up and made his speech. Cordelia wasn't paying attention, she was more concerned with the room. It was so beautiful. It would be a shame for anything to change that.

Love how you brought Pansy in, it was extremely amusing. Ryder sounds like he'll be rather awesome. I can't wait to find out what happens with Cordelia. Draco is adorable as always, love it!

CHAPTER FOUR

After the feast Draco stood up and held his hand out for Cordelia. "Shall we head to the Common Room?" he asked playfully. Cordelia just looked up at him and smiled.
"Sure." she said and stood up, taking Draco's extended hand. Cordelia waved good-bye to Ryder and Damian. Cordelia noticed the girl Pansy staring at Draco. She smiled inwardly to herself and chuckled. Cordelia followed Draco out of the great hall and down the corridors towards the Slytherin common room. They entered the common room quietly and Draco took a seat on the couch, beckoning Cordelia to sit in his lap. She obliged and curled into his body.
“So you like it so far?” Draco asked curiously. Cordelia looked up at his face and smiled.
“Yes.” She said and got off of his lap walking towards the girls’ dormitories. She turned around to look at a confused Draco and smiled. “Good night love.” She said and walked down the hall towards her room. Draco responded but she couldn’t hear it, she was already in her room digging through her trunk. She knew she had packed it near the bottom, eventually she found what she was looking for. A book, the only thing her brother had ever given her. She sat on her bed and flipped through the pages.

Draco couldn’t believe what had just happened. No body, not even Cordelia was supposed to ditch him. Draco huffed angrily and walked back up towards the Great Hall.
“Hi Draco.” He heard Pansy say from a window seat on the first floor. Draco stopped and turned to look at her.
“Hi Pansy, why aren’t you at the feast?” he asked dully.
“Why aren’t you?” she returned quizzically.
Draco raised his eyebrows and scoffed. “Good question.” He said and took a seat next to her. Pansy moved closer to Draco and rested her hand on his knee. Draco looked down at her hand and then back up at her, then out the window. He let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. ‘Why not?’ he thought to himself, ‘Cordelia wouldn’t care and it’s not like she’d ever actually find out.’ He turned back to Pansy and smiled, sliding his arm around her waist and pulling her into an intense kiss.

No Draco don't!

CHAPTER FIVE

Cordelia woke up early the next morning, it was Saturday so there were not any classes. She pulled on a pair of skinny blue jeans, green tank top and her knee high black boots. She walked out of the dormitories and headed out onto the grounds. It was nice outside and she found a nice place next to the lake and sat down. Cordelia had grabbed the book she got from her brother and sat down. She flipped through the pages. She heard footsteps behind her and tensed up for a fight as they approached and stood up. She swung her leg back and took the legs out from under them. She heard a huff as she turned to see who it was.
"Do you always have to do that!" Damian yelled as he rubbed his back and sat up. Cordelia sat down and crossed her legs.
"Well maybe you shouldn't sneak up on me." She stated and closed her book. "So why are you sneaking up on me?" she asked curious.
"I saw you out here and decided to come and say hi. Is that a crime?" he asked and laid back folding his arms behind his head. Cordelia just shook he head and looked out over the lake. It had a simple beauty to it. "Draco hooked up with Pansy last night." Damian blurted looking off into space avoiding eye contact with Cordelia. Cordelia smirked and Damian looked over at her. That smirk he’d seen it so many times before but never on the face of a girl. That was Draco’s smirk and she had it down pact.
“I told you last night, that I don’t care what Draco does. It’s his life.” She said and let out a breath. “Just like I can do what I please.” She said looking over at Damian. Then she turned her gaze back to her lap and the book that lay in her hands.
“What’s that?” Damian asked propping himself up on his elbows. He had on a pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt; it was just tight enough that you could see his muscles under the shirt. He looked nice.
“It’s just a book.” Cordelia said and stood up. She started walking towards the lake. “You coming?” she asked and sat down on the edge of the dock. She pulled off her boots, set them beside her and put her feet in the water. It was cold, but it felt nice. Damian took a seat next to her. He just looked at her as she stared into the trees. “Are you as nice as you look?” she asked not looking at him.
“What?” Damian replied not knowing that she was speaking to him. “Oh, I don’t know, probably not.” He said and shrugged. He wasn’t the nicest person. He hurt people and was excited when people he didn’t like got hurt or failed.
“Good.”

That relationship is rather messed up, but it's amusing to read about for sure!

CHAPTER SIX

Draco walked to the Great Hall for breakfast and saw Cordelia sitting awfully close to Damian. Draco's happy face turned into a frown as he rushed towards them. "What is going on here!" he yelled and pulled Cordelia up by the arm. Cordelia's smiling face turned as cold as she turned her head to stare at Draco. She just looked at him, closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Damian was shocked when he saw the cold look that passed over Cordelia's features for a split second. He had never seen anyone so, evil.
"I was just leaving." Cordelia stated calmly as she yanked her arm out of Draco's grip, she winked at Damian and walked out of the Great Hall.
"What the heck were you doing with my girlfriend!?" Draco yelled at Damian. Damian just smirked.
"What were you doing with Pansy?" Damian asked taking a sip of his coffee. Draco was still standing up, and took a seat when Damian mentioned Pansy. He took a bite of a piece of toast.
"So? It's not like Cordelia even knows what happened. Plus you should know better, she'd never go for a guy like you. You're too nice." Draco pointed out pouring himself a class of juice. Damian just rolled his eyes and continued to eat his breakfast. "So what are your plans this year?" Draco asked taking a bite of eggs.
"Make trouble and find girls." Damian said with a wicked smile. It was the same every year and every year he succeeded. But this year was going to be different he was going to get the perfect girl, he was sixteen and he hadn't had a serious relationship. Now was the time and Cordelia was the perfect girl. Draco just smiled and gave an approving nod.
"Sounds like a plan Damian." Draco usually joined in on the festivities, however this year he had Cordelia to "look after", but he wouldn't let that ruin the fun.

Cordelia left the Great Hall and walked back outside. The sun was brighter now and she didn't like it. She moved towards the woods, she had heard stories of the forest but she was probably more dangerous then anything she would encounter in there. After walking for a long time she found a quiet clearing that had a wicked look to it. The canopy was light so it did nothing for the sun. She'd have to come back at night, the view would be amazing. She sat down on the outskirts of the clearing and pulled out the book from inside her shoe and opened it up to the back cover. There she read the words that always followed her.

You were meant to be
So much better
Than me
You will be the best
You will prevail
You will finish what I could not

Every time she read those words she remembered why she put up with Draco, and why she must do the things required of her. She took a deep breath and stood up. She walked out of the forest and back into the Great Hall with a smile on her face. "Draco." she said and sat down in his lap pulling him in for a long passionate kiss. Damian just looked down and cleared his throat. Ryder entered the great hall and started whopping as he made his way down to where they were sitting.
"At it again guys?! Must you rub in the fact that you're getting snogging action and we're not?" Ryder complained sitting down next to Damian and grabbing a handful of grapes. Cordelia and Draco pulled away from each other. Cordelia smiled and bit her lip and Draco wrapped his arms protectively around her waist.
"For now." Both Cordelia and Draco said at the same time.

CHAPTER SEVEN

The first day of classes came and went. Slytherin had DADA and Potions with Gryffindor. Cordelia's favorite class had always been Potions and this was no different. Snape was Potions Master and she liked the way he held himself, she admired him. There was another guy that had caught her attention the first day of classes. Harry Potter.
Draco helped Cordelia through the first day of classes, there were only two classes that they didn’t have together; Arithmancy and Astronomy. Draco wasn’t really one for math or late night staring at the stars. Cordelia stayed one step behind Draco all day and everything was going great, until their last class, Potions. He spotted Potter in the back of the class as he walked with Cordelia towards the front. He noticed Potter’s eyes stay on her for just a moment too long. Draco scowled and took a seat to the right of Cordelia. She didn’t like people to be on her left side. After class they all exited the dungeons and walked up the stairs, the sound of her heels echoed off the walls. Draco and Cordelia walked up the stairs towards the main doors, Cordelia felt someone walking behind her and stopped abruptly and felt someone run into her. She spun around on her heel and swung her arm. Her fist connected with the persons jaw and she heard glasses fall to the floor. Draco was standing awestruck with his mouth open. Cordelia turned back around, stood up on her tip toes and kissed Draco, then grabbed his arm. His expression changed from shock to a smile. He threw his arm around Cordelias’ shoulder and led her out of the castle. “You know who that was right?” Draco asked.
“No. All I know is that they were following us and I didn’t like it.” Cordelia responded. She sat down under a nearby tree and pulled an apple out of her knap sack.
“That was Harry Potter.” Draco said sitting behind Cordelia and wrapped his arms around her waist. Cordelia just shrugged and smiled. She leaned back against Draco’s chest and took a bite of her apple. She heard footsteps again and sat up straight, her muscles tensing. Draco just rubbed her shoulders. “Relax babe.” He said, Cordelia just rolled her eyes.
“Why did you punch me!?” she heard a voice yell at her. Cordelia just looked up at who she assumed was Harry Potter.
“You ran into me.” She stated obviously and Draco started laughing.
“Now why don’t you just leave us alone Potter, go back to your Mudblood girl friend.” Draco sneered. Harry huffed and stomped his foot, then headed back up to the castle.
“Did he honestly just stomp his foot?” Cordelia asked stifling a laugh.
No one knew why she was here, not even Draco. She had a task that her brother had passed down to her. Her mission, to destroy everything good at Hogwarts.

ZOMGZ!!! Cordelia punching Harry was sooooooo funny, I'd punch Harry if I could. And Draco is just so freaking adorable, as usual.

BUT WAIT!

Humph, someone needs to stop her.

This may sound a little odd... Could Luna stop Cordelia? After all, she can go places unnoticed - people ignore her cos she's different, so she might overhear something...?
