Nodding at the compliments as though he very much agreed with them (which he did), Jake began to whistle the teddy bear's picnic nursery rhyme loudly so it echoed off the walls of the secret passage, holding the black stone of rainbow obsidian in his left hand that he'd taken from the stones in his pocket, before transferring his wand out of his broken hand, and into the appropriate hand.

Stepping forwards again as he finished the rhyme, Jake whispered one last sinister sentence. "Nighty-night, Kyle. AVADA KEDAVRA!" he yelled, at the same time as LouAnn did.

And the green light shot out of his wand...

Without another word, LouAnn pulled a drawstring bag of runes from her pocket. She shook the bag for a few seconds, causing a clinking and clanking that echoed around her. Her hand fell upon the third rune, the one with a moon picture on it. She held it tightly in her left hand while she stuffed the remaining runes and the drawstring bag back into her pocket with her right hand. "Ahh, the moon. What a nice rune to represent nighttime---a time when you fall asleep...for forever, this time," she said, giving Kyle a pleasant little smile this time. "Goodnight, Kyle. Sweet dreams."

She moved the rune from her left hand to her right---her wand hand---and lifted it and the wand slowly into the air. She stopped when her aim was right on Kyle. Softly, she began to sing:

Come little children
I'll take thee away. Into a land of enchantment.
Come Little Children
The time's come to play...here in my garden of magic

One evil laugh later, and two words the little girl with the wand wasn't even capable of saying shouted from her mouth. "Avada Kedavra!"

...and a flash of green light shot from her wand, as well.

...and just like, Kyle Xander Blaise fell dead. Yes, ladies and gentlemen...boys and girls...evil has come to Hogwarts. Come out, come out, wherever you are!

Okay... that was done. They did what the needed to do.

Now they were outta there.

Casting a STRONG disillusionment charm on both himself and then LouAnn, Jake grabbed the girl's invisible arm and, after a prod with his foor to the body on the floor... he scarpered.

Well, walked quickly away.

Hopefully LouAnn would have the sense to remove the spell when they were far away enough, and then, they could undisillusion themselves. Yup.

Just as long as the body was, you know, found. But they weren't.

A few hours from now, LouAnn would carry on with her life as if nothing this extreme had ever happened. The problem, of course, would be that she'd have no recollection of this at all. She, like all the others, would honestly wonder what sort of evil, cruel person would kill an innocent kid like Kyle Blaise. She'd have no idea.

For now, though, she took the rune in her hand and stuffed it back into the drawstring bag along with the five others. The seventh, of course, was still planted inside the headmaster's office. Speaking of which, she needed to take a little trip back to that office sooner or later. With the rune tucked carefully away, she used her wand to end Jake's spell. "Finite!"

She then allowed Jake to pull her far, far away from the scene.

Torin was heading down the secret passageway when he suddenly saw a sight that made him pause. There was a boy lying in the middle of the floor.

Getting over his shock, he rushed over to see if the kid was okay. Maybe he was hurt. "Are you alright?" he asked as he got closer.

Then he saw the kids face. His eyes were blank. He was dead.

"Oh my God!" he called out as he started to run away. He needed to find someone fast.

Allowing Mr Kane to lead the way because quite frankly Marcus had no idea where this secret passage even was. He liked to stay as far away from the dungeons as he possibly could. This was Kazi's domain after all and speaking of, he was surprised that the old man wasn't here already.

It was rather dark down here too, did they not believe in lighting down here? "Mr Kane, light your wand please." He didn't bother to elaborate that he no longer had his. He wished he knew where the darn thing had gone to...it was really rather embarrassing not having it.

He really didn't want to be back here again. He wanted to stay away and block this out. He didn't like finding dead bodies. He wished that he had stayed in his Dorm.

But he had to listen to Lawson. Not wanting to, he took his wand out and muttered, "Lumos," letting it shine it's light in the passageway.

Rafe heard of a secret passageway and of course his curiosity got the best of him and it was about time he checked it out. He walked along whistling a happy tune without a care in the world.

An older student came running past him, almost running into him. He looked a bit panic stricken. That's odd, Rafe thought as he walked a little bit further. And then right before his very eyes was a boy, one who looked older than him, but was just lying there. Rafe immediately thought of the boy that ran past him and looked down the passageway before moving forward.

He approached the lifeless body with ease. He leaned over the body, the blank expression still stretched across his once lively face. Rafe went to check for a pulse at his neck, but at a single touch it felt cold, more cold then a normal person's temperature. This person, this once wizard, now laid dead. Rafe didn't know what to do, should he stay or should he go? What if someone thought that he had done it? What if it was that boy that ran past him? Rafe just knelt next to the boy in utter confusion.

"Thank you Torin." Marcus glanced at the boy out of the corner of his eye and could see his discomfort. He moved further on down the passage way until he could see the body. "Why don't you just stay here Torin, I'll take it from here. Just keep your wand up so that I can see."

Marcus gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder before taking the last steps to where the young boy lay. He knelt down beside the body and checked for a pulse. It wasn't necessary of course he could tell from just one look that the kid was dead but it was always best to check.

And yep no pulse. Marcus sat back on his heels and let his eyes scan over the boys body. Not a mark on the kid. Not one. Which could only mean...

He lent over the body and brushed his hand over the boys eyes so that it looked like he was sleeping before standing up again and turning to face Torin. "Did you see anyone hanging around here before you found the boy?"

He nodded at the Professor and held his wand up high. He stared at the wall as Lawson went to look at the kid. He didn't want to see the body again. It was way too creepy. He shuddered just imagining the lifeless eyes.

"I didn't see anyone, Professor. At first I thought that the boy hurt himself somehow when he was alone in here."

Nodding his head at Torin, Marcus turned back to the young boy lying on the floor. "I'm going to take him up to the hospital wing now. I know that this is making you uncomfortable but I need you to come with me Mr Kane and then we are going to the Headmaster's office." He looked at Torin and raised an eyebrow, "Okay?"

Without waiting for an answer, Marcus bent down and picked the boys lifeless body up into his arms and grunted slightly from the effort. He turned and began to walk back up the passageway.

Of course he would have to stay with the Professor. He should have figured that he would need to. But he would also have to see the Headmaster? The last time that he had been to his office was during that battle at the end of last Term.

"Okay, Professor," he said. Still keeping his gaze off of the body, he turned and started walking back up the passageway after Lawson.

Brant While holding Sarah's hand kept saying "Dont worry its not that dark down there and you'll be with me. " always looking at her "You do trust me do you?" he asked while smiling . Brushing her hair off of her ear he whispered "I love you" this was the first time hes ever said that to her and he felt great saying it. oh they joys of love. He lead her futher down the secret passage.

Sarah looked at Brant and smiled, "Are you sure it isn't dark down there?" She was scared she hadn't seen this passageway before, "Where did this Passageway come from?" She smiled as she looked at Brant she was wondering why he was taking her down this passageway." She moved her hair out of her eye. "Of course I trust you." Sarah giggled when Brant said he loved her and replied, "I love you too."

Brant was over the moon when Sarah said she loved him too. "This passage way was close due to last years flood. but its open now and I have a surprise for you" he said while going futher in. "Now close your eyes we are almost there" Brant said, leaving her for only a second he got things set up. "Ok you can open your eyes now." Now infront of them in the middle of the passage way there was a little blanket with snacks on it and almost 1,000 fireflys everywhere so its like they were surrounded by tiny stars. He poured some Pumpkin juice and handed Sarah a sandwhich." Its just thought that we needed something specail, for I havent seen you in soo long. plus its our one year anniversary." he said beaming for He knew Sarah wouldn't think that Brant would remember.

Sarah looked at Brant when he told her to close her eyes, "Okay, I will but if you are going to leave me down here I'll hunt you down." Sarah smiled evily. She closed her eyes and when she openned it she saw that Brant had a basket out, "Not the best place to eat." Sarah giggled, "What's you going to call this place, Darkness restraunt?" Sarah smiled.

"It doesn't matter where we are Sarah, Everything is magic when we are together" he said. Then he took a sip of his pumpkin juice. then he took out his gift that he was going to give her last year, but since they were fighting at the time he decided to wait. Now was the perfect moment. "Sarah I would like you to have my family crest, Wil you wear it?" he asked as he was still holding the Necklace in his hand.

"I know." Sarah smiled. "I think you are the kindest boy I have ever seen." Sarah giggled. She drank some of the pumpkin juice, then Brant started talking about a family crest. "I don't think so, I would want to spoil it." Sarah sighed as she looked at Brant.

Lena changed her mind half-way to the common room and turned down a random passage she hadn't noticed before. She didn't walk very far down it, for it was dark and she didn't want to take out her wand for the moment. Instead, she stood up against one of the walls and slid down it onto the floor, putting her head in her hands. And she cried.

Chris hadn't seen where Lena went. Hoping she had maybe gone down this Secret Passage for some reason. He walked into it quietly. It was dark and scaryyyyy it sent a shiver down his spine but looked around. No use it was to dark. He pulled his wand out of his belt loop and quietly said 'Lumus'. His wand light up and he looked around to find Lena pretty much right infront of him crying. He quickly went over to her taking the guitar off his back and hugged her tight not being able to speak.

Helena heard footsteps near her dimly, but she didn't look up. Then she heard Chris's voice; she still didn't look up immediately, but by the time she was about to, he had come over to her and hugged her tightly. This didn't help the tears to stop so she merely cried a bit harder, turning into Chris's comforting arms. I'm ssssorry, Chris. I'm so sorry, she sobbed.

Chris felt Lena still crying into his shoulder feeling her tears on his shirt. "It's okay Lena." He said and started to rub her back trying to get her to calm down a bit. "I over reacted as well. It's just I can't lose you too. I just can't." He said honestly. He didn't know what he would do if she left him for Blake or anyother guy.

Lena's tears eased up a bit, but they didn't stop by any means. You didn't overreact - that should have been the first thing I told him, she said, almost whispering towards the end. She clung tighter to Chris at his words of losing her. You're not losing me. I'm not going anywhere, she promised.

"Well I have to say it's not a normal why to start a conversation with your friends or rather a guy you know that likes you." Chris commented still feeling tears coming from Lena's eyes. He held tight to her still though he maybe sure he didn't hurt her when she clung tight to him. He was about to give her a kiss on the cheek when he realized he still had his hat on from his 'costume.' He took his hat off and placed it next to his guitar and kissed her cheek. "Good 'cause I couldn't handle that." He told Lena.
