Looking rather panicked, Lina dashed out from the common room and into the hall. She nearly skid and fell as she turned to run down the hall, and didn't even see Raiden until she'd crashed into him. And for a little thing, she was pretty fast.

She rubbed her head, wincing. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorr-" Then she realized who she was looking at. "Raiden?!" She blinked a moment then threw her arms around him, not even noticing she had knocked them both down and was partially on top of him. "Oh thank Merlin it's you!!"

"Ah well, my parents are just a little..well I guess you could call them crazy, although now they're fighting so for the past few vacations; I've went to my beach house and just kinda hung out with my new friends in Sydney; it just seemed to take my mind off all the drama I'd eventually have to deal with over holidays." Raven said with a slight sigh and ran her fingers through her long brown hair, it was just completely frustrating for her the past term and even with the drama involving Andi on top of that; she was lucky to be still fairly normal.

"Ahh, well I learned over the summer; I'm actually pretty good after a few wipeouts which were lovely, the first time I wiped out, I was like okay... I'm done; time to head back to the beach but really what's the fun in that?" she said then chuckled ever so slightly.

...he knew he should've gone to the Great Hall for coffee before going back for his bag.

Flooooooooored.

Blinking, completely confused, and tail squished (thank goodness it hadn't bent or something, that would've hurt something TERRIBLE), Raiden tried to focus on the person who had knocked him down... and was now squishing hugging him. The morning brain fog had not quite cleared yet, and... well it took him a minute to focus his eyes enough to see who it was.

"...oh." He paused, still blinking rapidly as if it would clear away whatever was going on. "Good morning to you too."

She paused a moment, looking at the blurry-eyed catboy. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" She scrambled off of him, blushing. "Really sorry... Good morning..." She squirmed a little bit, looking like she was going to cry. Then she took a deep breath and stood. "Um, I need to get going... quickly..." But she also didn't want to be alone, and she didn't know anyone else. "Could... could you come with me?"

Ziva nodded her head and listened to Raven as she talked. "Asher is protective. I think he's nervous when we travel after what happened to our parents. You see, we live in the countryside near Copenhagen, Denmark. And our parents always took these holiday trips back to Greece. Well, they never came back and the last surviving family we had in Greece went missing as well. So, " Ziva shrugged, "We stick together on vacations." Ziva said somberly.

"'s fine," Raiden mumbled, wobbling slightly as he sat up fully and shook his head. The whole... shock thing that one felt when being knocked down was just now hitting him, and he felt slightly more awake than he had moments ago. "I've had worse happen, 's no big de- oh wait." He looked at her, trying his best to arrange his sleepy features into a serious expression. "I'm a prefect, I almost forgot. Er... No running in the halls?"

Yeah, that was all he had. Pulling himself to his feet, he rubbed his eyes and leaned against the wall.

Whyyyyy did she sound so upset? Raiden squinted at the girl, concerned. What was she in such a hurry for, so early in the morning?

"If you want, I guess... I just gotta go grab my bag from my room." Squint. "Are you alright?"

She wrung her hands, looking down. "I'm okay..." Oh yeah. She was just a great liar, wasn't she? But she also really didn't want to go back in there. "Um, I guess I'll wait out here? But if you see Marie or Violet, stall them for me, will you?"

...okay then.

Raiden stood very still for a moment, blinking at Lina with a very blank look on his face.

"Yeahhhhh... you stay here." He pointed at her, still clearly confused. "I'mma... be... yeah."

With that, Raiden disappeared down the hall to the dorm, utterly nonplussed as to what was going on, and who Violet was. Marie... could be that younger girl he'd dueled, but Violet? He didn't know any of those.

It only took him a few minutes to locate his bag and shove the wayward books back into it. Slinging it over his shoulder, Raiden hurried back to where he'd left Lina. His trek had made him slightly more aware of... well things in general.

"Why... do you need those girls stalled?" Surely she... hadn't... "You didn't try that beard thing again, did you?"

"No no! I swear I didn't do anything wrong!" ... "Necessarily..." She sighed. "Come on. Let's get out of here." She didn't run... but she did walk pretty quickly. "We can go to the kitchen. I don't think it's even breakfast time yet."

...Necessarily.

Riiiiiiiiight.

"Coffee. Would definitely be in the kitchen." Which meant Raiden approved of this plan. Obediently (he even looked the part of the obedient pet, Merlin help him) he followed after her, tail swaying sleepily as he hurried to keep up.

But she hadn't done anything wrong, no.

Necessarily. Sigh.

"Ah well you're lucky to have a brother like that, I'm an only child so it's rather fun to have to deal with things by myself when it comes to family drama." Raven said with a slight sigh and leaned her head back against the cold wall, it was just not easy for her to try to deal when her parents were deciding to be idiots. "You know, I think you'd might like it in Australia; oh its absolutely an awesome place to just relax and forget about all the drama that goes on here during the term."

"That's really cool." Tasha said. "Do you like that sort of responsibility?" She asked Raven. Natasha ran her hand through her dark hair, looking at the girl in front of her with interest.

"I do actually, I mean even though it can be a little frustrating sometimes what with trying to redecorate the entire house but I mean it's great most of the time because this is where I can escape to when I'm dealing with family issues." Raven replied with a nod, taking a pick out of her pocket and starting a brand new song on her bass.

"I've always wondered what it was like to be any only child. But maybe some things are better to be unknown." Ziva pondered with a small chuckle.

"I don't have much drama actually." Ziva told her squinting an eye shut thinking hard on the subject. "Knock on wood, next thing you'd know I'd have a fight with a friend or something." Ziva sighed, "I hope that doesn't happen." She told Raven, she hoped, that of all people it wouldn't be Pierre or Cadence, she wouldn't be able to go through a fight with one of them.

"Oh you're incredibly lucky honestly, I've fought with friends and my boyfriend; trust me, you don't want that, it causes things to be a lot more stressful for you and that's not fun." Raven said with a slight wince, having flashbacks to when she was being evil and yelling at her friends and the people who were only trying to help her. That was the one thing that she regretted so far although there wasn't much she could do about that now.

Ziva nodded her head, "I just hope that doesn't happen to me. I mean, I guess I've never really been in a fight, I don't fight with my family either; so I guess it'd be a new experience." Ziva thought aloud.

"What's you're favorite part about Australia?" Ziva asked, changing the subject to something more worthwhile.

"Oh definitely the beaches..and the boys, haha; I might be taken but it's hard to not be faithful when there's such cute guys around." Raven said with a slight chuckle as she started to play something different on her bass, she definitely earned some points over holidays for not deciding to betray Daniel even though it was absolutely difficult.

"Beaches, yes. Beaches are always the best part of anywhere." Ziva smiled. She bit her lip, "Mhm, I think Pierre is gonna come to Florida with me this summer for a while, so I think I'm covered on the cute boys factor." Ziva laughed.

"What else?" Ziva questioned, "Surely there's other stuff that makes Australia awesome." Ziva commented, truthfully, if beaches and boys were the only thing, she wouldn't bother to go.

Shudder

This was the first time Oliver had been back along here since he was attacked. With wide eyes, he looked along the corridor. It wasn't nearly as long as he believed it was when he attempted to run away from Nancy with that wound to his leg. He looked down self consciously at his ripped jeans. Maan, he needed to get changed. He was an absolute mess. But... first things were first.

He made sure to fix his expression as he turned to look at Miranda. He didn't want to upset her with his own stresses. She had her own to be dealing with. “Come on.” He said and started along the corridor towards the common room. “You fancy heading up to the Great Hall after this? I could do with something.. unsugary to eat.” He smiled. He was suddenly famished. Something hot and savoury like sausage and bacon and hash browns and beans would go down reh-heally well about now.

Miranda scdaddled along behind Oliver, still picking on whatever was left of the cake. She was quite unaware of his discomfort and smiled when he turned to her. More food, ey? "Yes, ofcourse." She nodded, thinking he must be really hungry. "Uh, we could go now if you want," Miranda pointed back with her thumb, slowing her pace "We could...I mean I was just joking about the present..." she said, trying to not feel so bad for having sounded so eager to see whatever Oliver wanted her to see. "Really, c'mon, let's go and get some 'grub'...or however you say it." What language was that in anyways?

Seriously, Oliver was hungry and she was making him get the present. Not cool. Heh.

Miranda was being very slow and she was still munching on that damn cake. Oliver's stomached growled louder than an angry badger. He placed a hand to it and laughed. It eased his nervous tension a bit.

He shook his head to Miranda's offer. “No. We're here now. I may as well nip up to the dorms and get it.” He turned and gave her what was supposed to be a stern look but he couldn't hold it and smirked at her. She had been so insistent on coming here... and he was finding it easier having someone with him though she couldn't come in the common room.. and that's were the worst memory was. He was hoping some of the other students were up and about so he wouldn't be alone in that room. He was also praying that the house elves had been in and mopped up the blood he'd left on the sofa and floor. *shudder*

They were almost at the common room now. “I'd let you come in but I don't think the other snakes would like it.” heh! It really was like a snake pit in there at times. He bet the Huffie common room was all warm and cosy and relaxed all the time. Those sweet little badger folks.

Miranda's head snapped up at a noise. It sounded like a growling animal. ! Did they have animals down here? But then Oliver laughed and she belatedly understood it had been his stomach. "Cake?" She asked with a grimace...knowing full well he might decline the offer due to the sugar...and whatnots.

Her lower lip jutted out slightly at his insistance, but she was glad he would be able to go get changed. It didn't occur to her what people might think if they saw them all covered in blood and looking like they had been attacked by werewolves-

!!!!!!!!! She gaped. Werewolves! Sheesh! That would totally explain their injuries. Oh, this is bad, so very bad. Could this mean they had been...contaminated?

She shook her head to clear it. And then remembered Oliver was right. there. Her face stretched in a smile as he smirked at her. "Oh, okay. Yeah, a change of clothes. You really need it. You look like crap." She said with a full serious expression. And then took a bite of the cake.

Oh yeah, she couldn't come in. Hmh mhmh hmhmhmmm. "No worries!" She plopped down, sitting on the floor with her back against the cold stone wall. "I can wait for you." Now she smiled softly, looking up at the boy, "Take your time."

She'd accompany him if she could, seeing as he had actually woken up on the sofa. But that thought hadn't crossed her mind until now. How inconsiderate of her.

Oliver eyed the cake with an eyebrow cocked then eyed Miranda in the same way. Yeah right. “I'd rather not eat your crumbs, Rodent.” He smirked. “No.. seriously. I think I better steer clear of the ol' sugar right now.”Cos his head may very well explode. He had a headache potion in his trunk in the dorms and he intended to drink it.

He became serious when she gasped, his eyes widening. “Wha?” He asked shocked. “What is it!?” Had she had a flash back? Oh besheesus. But then the next moment she seemed fine. “Don't do that, Miranda.” He scolded, placing a hand on his heart. Ok.. Calmness. He was calm. Yes siree.

“You don't mind if I get changed?” He asked. “We can stop by your common room next if you like cos you look like crap too, luv.” He winked. “No offence.” heh.

He watched her sit in the place where he had slumped earlier when he ran away from Nancy and nodded. He muttered the password and entered the dorms, the door slamming closed behind him.

Could it be any colder down here?! Seriously! Well, it was in the middle of the night, so that could be a contributing factor to it. Still. They needed heaters or something down here.

Plus it was her idea to not wearing any shoes. Or socks for that matter. But she never wore socks or shoes if she didn't want to be heard, just like at home. Just for some reason, she didn't make any sound when not wearing anything on her feet. But someone would think that those little 'pitter patters' from the bare feet hitting the marble-ish floor would make sounds right? Well, apparently, not for her...

Slipping out from the Slytherin common room, Evelyn zipped up her jacket over her pajamas and headed out.

Okay, no cakey then. Heh. She shrugged lamely but then nodded. Yeah, she knew he didn't want any, sort of, but it was her silly manners that made her ask anyways.

Oops, he had toterly seen her little mental freak out. "Sorry...just had a...erm, y'know." She waved a hand, putting a big piece of cake into her mouth, giving him a brown smile. But then she grimaced. Drat, she had really scared him. "Shorry afbout thfat." Egh!

She swallowed hard and shook her head. "No, not at all." She smiled. Her common room? Only if the house elves had changed her bloody sheets. And even if they had... Uuuuh. "Mhm!" She squeaked, nodding her head again quite vigorously. "Sure, lets...let's do that." A chuckled escaped her at his comment.

She watched him walk into the commonroom, getting a peek at the dorm and it's many different shades of green. It was VERY green in there. Mhm, very...green. She sat back, feeling the cold of the corridor creeping up on her, looking about and not seeing anyone. She was quite alone here. Very...alone.

Then, the events of the past couple of hours had been... what was the word... She couldn't think of one. Because it was still too fresh to fathom. The chaos, the panic... the horror.

Oh, man, she hoped Oliver would be quick.
