Here's how it works: one at a time, you'll step up to the ballot box look familiar? and cast your vote for the professor YOU most want to pie. By casting a vote, you're also agreeing to be entered for a chance to BE the one throwing the pies!

At least one student from each house will be randomly picked to pie a professor. The professors with the most votes will be the ones being pied. Now that you've voted, go enjoy the other activities! We'll be sure to announce when the Great Big Pie Day is about to start.

Despite several large misgivings, her name was on the ballot. It had taken a lot of mental fortitude for her to convince herself it was a good idea. It's for the students, Tyner. Do it for them. And so it was that as she stepped up to the ballot box her name was on the list.

But that certainly didn't prevent her from voting against herself.

She ticked the box next to someone else's name - ANYone else's name - and dropped the slip in the box. Well, the cat's among the pixies now, Tiara. All you can do is hope the students don't hate your guts enough.

Adi was definitely loving this idea though he wasn't sure whom he was going to vote for. He stood there, at the ballot box pouring over the list of familiar names. Hmmm.

Finally, he narrowed down the list bringing it to a total of three possible candidates. Hmmmm. Who to vote for, who to vote for...After what seemed to be a year or two, the second year made his decision. He checked off his choice and dropped the paper into the box. All done!

Marigold was VEEEEERY interested in this pie your professor thingy. She didn't mind much who the Professor was, as she liked all of them, so she nervously ticked off a name.

...These were anonymous, right?

Sander walked up to the ballot box and looked at the names on the list. Sander honestly never had any problems with any of the staff. But he did love a pie throwing contest even if he might possibly be the one throwing the pie.

He hoped that the staff didn't bear a grudge. But heck, this was his last term here, what could they possibly do?

So he studied the list, thought about what he thought about each member of the staff. A grin appeared on his face when he made his final choice. He hoped the staff he picked loved pie because they were going to get a face full of it. Sander picked up the quill, checked off the box of the staff, folded the paper and dropped it into the ballot box.

Oh yeah. This was going to be awesome. The only real problem that she had was who was she to pick? It was hard to narrow it done to only one professor when there was so many that could benefit from a pie to the face.

Hannah bit her lip as she went over the list before her. She had to pick wisely because who knew when they would get another chance like this again? Thinking hard about it she finally picked her target professor and dropped her vote into the box. This was one activity that she was actually looking forward to.

Ian glanced at the list and knew immediately which professor to pick. It was easy to pick easily the most pompous professor on staff.

He checked the box and dropped his ballot into the box.

Oooh. Pie throwing. This was right up Emma's alley. And to be able to pie a professor? Even better. She stepped up quietly, a grin forming on her face as she read each name on the ballot. She loved so many of them... but there were a few that needed a pie to the face. This was revenge for making her brain hurt.

Emma giggled as she dropped her ballot into the box with a satisfying THUNK.

This was gonna be a blasty blaaaaast.

Oichi found her way down to the dungeons where some sort of fair/party for ghosts and humans alike was taking place. There she saw a station to pie a professor and saw it was going by vote. Too bad Lafay was gone. And, oh no, the History of Magic Professor is not even on the list. Darn, well, there is still one name on there that it would rather funny to see pied. Oichi wrote that name down and put it in the ballet box.

What was this? Bart went over to see what the fuss was all about and his eyes grew wide. A pie throwing contest or well a pie in someones face at least. Reading it a grin plastered on his face. This was great and he didn't have to think twice before he knew who he was putting for this.

Walking over to the ballot he looked.. Hmm History Magic Dude wasn't on the list.. lame anywaycheck yep he couldn't wait to see this happen and hoped it would be happening. Could they use the camera from seminar because he would want to keep this moment.

Once he had voted Bart turned to figure out what else he'd want to do.

So they might actually get a chance to pie a Professor in the face. Even the Headmistress. Sounds incredible awesome or will have horrible effects in the future. What if they are being forced to do this? But first Nigel had to make a list of the Professor he would definitely not want to pie. Like the Groundskeeper. He could tear Nigel apart. Or make him use those medicine balls until he collapses. Don't want his joints hurting more than they actually are.

So who to pick? After much thought, he folded his slip on put it in the box.

A chance to pie a professor or staff member? Umm...YES, PLEASE!

Sophie really didn't have to think hard of this one. She'd narrowed it down to a few, and those were:

A.) Tillstorm, because she'd recently sent Caleb and Genie off on this really interesting date and forbid Sophie to come along.

B.) Bellaire, because Sophie HATED the fact that she made the students stand by their desks and wait until they were ordered to sit.

C.) Hadley, because she always taught the subjects Sophie hated the most.

D.) Truebridge, because if you're gonna pie somebody, you may as well go straight to the TOP, right?! If you're gonna do something, do it WELL!

The rest would be let off the hook for now. Especially Botros. You couldn't just PIE an old man! So with her top four in mind, Sophie stepped up to the ballot box. Let's see...who to pie?! Well, this one was obvious. She wrote the person's name on a piece of parchment and slipped it inside the box.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Ella felt extremely conflicted about this. So much so that she was pacing in front of the ballot box, no doubt holding up those who already knew who they were going to choose. She'd take all the time she'd like though, thank you. Voting was serious business.

After a while, when her feet began to throb from all the back and forth movement, the eighteen year old decided it was time to make a final decision. She'd narrowed it down, having immediately ruled out Hadley, Botros, and Airey. She couldn't do that to them, just couldn't.

As for the rest, some the blonde would feel worse about pieing than others but someone had to be the target. Hmmm..

Wonder how long she'd feel guilty about that choice for.

Laura walked up and looked at the list she would never want Hadley or the Librarian pied they were awesome, she thought about the Healer but decided she wasn't worthy of a pie, when she had decided she squibbed down the name and that was it done.

Sophie made sure her first stop was to the ballot box. This was already her favorite part of the whole party, looking around the dungeons, but... there wasn't much competition. There was a nice craft station, but a vomit relay? All that molding food? Ick. Who had even planned this thing anyway? Didn't they know they were human kids who ate human food? Could she go pop over to the kitchens and ask the house elves to help them out a bit?

Meh. Maybe in a bit. For now, she was determined to pick the perfect professor for this. First and foremost, she looked for Culloden's name - not because she wanted him to be picked, but because she DIDN'T. She'd be horrified if he was picked on like that and she was willing to stuff the ballot box with any other professor's name to save him, but... looking over the list, her favorite professor wasn't there! He was SAFE. Whew. Awesome. Unfortunately, Flamsteed, Elwood, Botros, Fuller, Bentley, Kitridge, and Romanos WERE there. She liked all of those plenty well. Especially Botros - wouldn't it just be cruel to pie an old man? Couldn't... he not be there? Or ANY of her favorites? All the others were far more worthy targets.

Sophie was especially pleased to see that Truebridge, Bellaire, Tyner, and Tillstorm were there. Ha. Those would all be the funniest. But... of course, the choice was obvious for Sophie and the smirk on her face showed it as she submitted the one name of the professor she would get the most amusement from being chosen.

And she hoped she'd get the honor of doing it.

Lucas thought LONG and hard, except he didn't. He kind of got stuck on the first name and all the glee pieing them would induce and he kind of just voted without thinking.

Except then he saw the disclaimer: 'you might be chosen'. WHAT?!

ABORT. ABORT.

He did not want to be standing before True-um.. the teacher he had chosen- and pieing them in the face. He gulped. She..uh, they were TERRIFYING.

The astronomer knew EXACTLY who he was going to vote for for this. Insulting his best mate like that in front of everyone and ABANDONING Pebbles in previous terms. So it was with a one swift movement, and almost illegible handwriting, that he dropped a certain red head's name into the box. Hehehe. All in good fun, right? School spirit and all that. Heh.

Which is why he had chosen to be on the ballot in the first place. Wouldn't be any fun to be a party pooper and elect to be off it. Still, he certainly hoped that students would not elect him for this. His suit would have all sorts of disgusting things on him and he was pretty sure that the smell would be in the fabric for weeks despite magical cleaning charms. His muggle dry cleaners would probably know what to do. They worked wonders there.

Calmly the Creature teacher walked in. He wasn't scared of a little mess, his choice on the profession would not have been wise if he had been, really. Hmm.. who to vote. pondering as Javy began rubbing the thick hair over his chin.

Javy's eyes weren't going to wander just yet, he wanted it to be less suspicious after all. Then just like that, the name was dropped in. May the best face to mess up win.. or lose. Yep, he was sticking with that.

Though she hadn't objected to being pied, the idea was mildly disconcerting... but on the other hand, it would be amusing, so she had been happy enough to go along with it. Slipping into the hooligan hole, Seren meandered up to the ballot box and considered the options. She was after all, entitled to vote, she was entitled to lessen her chances of being hit.

The only trouble was, no name stood out to her as being deserving of a pie to the face. Or... perhaps....

After quickly peering around her to make sure nobody was peaking, Seren checked one of the boxes, a shifty smirk on her lips. Good choice.

Orsino Loomed over the box for a while. He was uncertain on who he'd like to see pied....briefly. No, now he definetly knew who deserved it the most. She had accused him of enhancing himself with girding potions. No way was he gonna let that slide. Not in a million years. Scribbling the name down on his piece of paper he stuffed it in the Ballot Box.
Yeah it was a grudge...so what?

wonder how many kids would vote for him? Maybe he should go look intimidating, scare them a bit with looks that say 'You really want to PIE me, Really. Go ahead Vote for Kirby.' Lessen his chances a bit.

Josephina hovered near the ballot box for a few moments, debating on whether or not she should vote. Honestly she didn't want to see any of her colleagues get pied. They hadn't done anything to her. Even the Healer was kind lately to some of her Hufflepuffs, particularly those who wanted to pursue healing.

She had no grudges, really.

Glancing around at her colleagues standing by the box, she smiled mischievously as she caught sight of one. Yes ... that might be an interesting experiment to watch. See if the pie bounces back off his laundry bag of meat and hits the thrower in the face ...

Making sure no one was peeking, Fina checked off one of the boxes and dropped it in the box.

There was a pie a professor thing going on? Awesome! Though it would be a lot cooler if it was a a surprise or prank or something. Either way, this promised to be good. Oh, and the professors were voting too? Interesting. Who was Professor Number Lady voting for?

Getting his ballot, the 6th year studied it. Where wasn't anyone he particularly wanted to see pied. Though, there were some people that would be quite amusing to see. Checking off one of the professors, he dropped it in the box. Now to wait and see.

Michael stood before the list of names and imagined himself throwing pies at them.

Okay so the Headmistress was out because he was not stupid.

So was Bentley because she was his HOH and she was too pretty to have a pie thrown in her face.

There was no way he could throw one at old Botros, he might knock the old man out.

Hmm, Flamsteed was definitely a maybe.

He didn't know any of the new Professor's and the Groundskeeper was HUUUUUUUUUGE so he was a definite no-no.

Apparently the Healer was evil, not that Michael had seen her in action but he crossed her off the list. Imagine if he ever needed to go to her because he was sick or something and she remembered that he had thrown a pie at her face. Not a good idea.

So that left...

He wrote down the name and placed it into the ballot box.

Annie naturally had no idea who was winning or losing this pie-vote thing, because of course she hadn't cheated and looked at the votes yet! Hahahaha neverrrrrr. She would never cheat over such a silly competition!

The redhead would, however, vote in an attempt to bring someone else down or at least someone else WITH HER.

She whistled an old tune to herself and stepped up to the ballot box when it was her turn. It was obvious who she was going to vote for. This woman was snarky and thought she was clever, but really she was just an overgrown jock. AND she had bad hair.

The Headmistress smirked to herself and dropped in her vote. Take that, broomhead.
