Leading the way into Hooligan Hole, Airey moved towards the middle the room where he flicked his wand towards the torches hanging on the wall to brighten up the room. Although the flame had a hard time staying lite due to a putrid smell that was horribly enough to grow chest hair on a veela. "Oh, that is horrible," he said while pinching the bridge of his nose. With another wave of his wand, the professor cast a Bubble Head Charm on himself. Ah yes, much better.

Airey turned to face the Head Boy now, his brow furrowed, he handed the Hufflepuff a clipboard with a piece of parchment and quill attached to it along with an antique looking magnifying glass. On the floor between the two was a massive pile of soiled laundry that appears to be the source of the smell. Upon further inspection it becomes clear that the dirty laundry are actually quidditch uniforms and bibs that, well, quidditch did tend to make students so nauseous that they threw up on themselves.

"Mr. Gunter, because you seemed SO keen to share your lunch with me the other day," he began, eyebrow raised as he referenced the events of the Head Boy throwing up on the professor's suit. "You will be sharing everyone's lunch. Meaning that I want you to inspect these quidditch supplies that Professor James has kindly lent us for the purpose of this detention. You are to identify what exactly it was these quidditch players ate to see if there is a pattern so that we may establish a list of foods to avoid before a quidditch match and practices." He gave his wand yet another flick to conjure a pair of rubber gloves on the boy's hands. He was not THAT heartless. "Keep careful records there on that parchment with the quill provided."

A small smirk appeared on his lips as he conjured up a chair for himself and sat down, folding on leg over the other. "Be grateful that you are getting to know your peers up close and personal, Mr. Gunter. Just as any fine example of a Head Boy should." Heh. "Are there any questions before you begin?"

And no, you may not have a Bubble Head Charm, so don't bother asking that one.

Oh, oh Merlin! this stench he needed to hold his lunch in again! Oakey turned his face and almost gagged before stopping himself immediatley. Starting the detention the same way he got it was not a good idea.

His attention was brought to the source of the smell, a large pile of stench ridden dirty Quidditch Robes, It all looked mostly Green, and Yellow. That maybe have been just from some of the stains spread across each of the uniforms because there were Red, and Blue in the pile too. Lucky him no one got sick during the Staff vs. Student match earlier in the year.

Taking the magnifying glass in one hand, and the clipboard in his other he listened to Flamsteed describe to him his punishment.

...Breathe Oakey take a Deep breathe then get too it! "NoneProfessor."

He slipped on his rubber gloves and took one long breathe filling his lungs with the vile air in the room. The first robe he picked up was a Hufflepuff Robe, naturally. Taking his gloved hand he turned it around until he identified the stain. Orange in color, with small bits of what looked like crumbs embedded within the dired paste. He brought his magnifying glass to inspect it further, and picked off a piece of crumb to look at closer. A pie crust maybe, and the orange could be pumpkin? he looked at the uniform, and noticed it was only a Hufflepuff Practice one. Turning it around he saw the number on the back. TWELVE! Twelve was his number, Oh, oh! He knew what this was he remembers this from a few terms ago...It was a practice that Keefer held on Halloween. Oakey ate Pumpkin Pie before this practice, then took a Bludger to his stomach. Setting the Robe down in a seperate pile of inspected robes Oakey marked off this Yellow robes as 'Hufflepuff Practice Uniform #12; Pumpkin Pie'

Next up was a Blue robe. He didn't have to turn it around in his hand for too long because the stain was instantly visable at the front. Long streaks of brown going all the way down the robe. The Brown on the robes looked bumpy, and after a magnified look at it, Oakey figured that the brown stain probably was once baked beans. He didn't have to look at it any further than he did, but he noticed pinholes near the top of the robe. This was once a Captains Robe, even they could loose their lunch...whudathunkit? Marking it down on his parchment 'Ravenclaw Match Uniform #1; Baked Beans' putting that one aside in the finished pile Oakey then picked up a Green one.

this one was covered...COVERED in ick! Practically unidentifiable in what this stuff could have been. UGH in fact this had the worst stench of all, Oakey could not bare it, he was gonna loose his lunch again...NO, no! not here! He held it back with every ounce of stomach strength that he could. Who in their right mind would loose so much of their lunch on a robe such as this one. He had to know. Turning it around he saw the Number Three on the back...Wimpy Theo, Oakey would be smirking if it wasn't for the foul stench. now he had to identify the stain...It had too many colors and looked almost gooey. Taking the Magnifying glass closer, and almost losing his lunch again 0Oakey spotted bits of what looked like gummies. SEE! SEE! SEE! he knew Gummy Worms were trouble, and Theo's Uniform proved it! He'd go and stuff this uniform in Ella's face just to gloat on how Gummy Worms were bad for you especially in reguards to Quidditch. Taking his quill he marked this uniform down on his list. 'Slytherin Practice Uniform #3; Gummy Worms/Bears'

Supposing he might as well grab a Gryffindor Uniform next. He turned and turned it trying to find the stain, but could find nothing. It smelled, but probably just from sweat build up and being in a pile of barf filled clothes. Looking. He took his magnifying glass once again, and moved it along the uniform until he spotted what sent this to the laundry pile. near the top, and some on the shoulders was splots of dried blood. Who ever this uniform belonged to took a Bludger to the face, and hard. Throwing it into the finished pile Oakey marked it on his parchment 'Gryffindor Practice Uniform #23; Blood Stains.'

He moved along with the the punishment picking up smelling, magnifying and picking off bits of throw-up on each of the Uniforms until he was finally done.


He looked over his list, and took notice of a trend. There was something wrong with the Potatoes used before a Match with his House, and Gryffindor. Probably before he attended. Unfortunately, it looked like the official of that match also had the same meal as the players.

Airey leaned back in his seat and enjoyed the comforts of his Bubble Head Charm while Mr. Gunter went to work. He did feel a little bad for the boy, but only because of the smell. Could kill a troll. It was THAT bad. But his suit was suffering the most. Poor baby. Thrown up on and with no muggle dry cleaners in sight at the moment. Airey didn't have the sickles for that just yet. But he would by the end of this detention.

Heh.

Looking over at the Hufflepuff, the astronomer unfolded his legs and leaned forward a bit. "Find anything conclusive, Mr. Gunter? Just a verbal report will do for now." Airey did not want to touch that parchment. Gross.

That was simple, Oakey looked down at his list once more. Then held to his side. "What I found was that mostly soft foods should not be eaten before practice, or a match." Ugh, this smell was not getting any better at all while he talked he just kept on breathing it in and out. "A very interesting find was that multiple Uniforms ha..." GAG "...had what I belive to once be mashed potatoes. There was even an officials uniform in the pile that had this on it. House Elves may have used something in the mix that had gone bad, and a few of the players and the Staff expelled it during the match." He'd go on to say how Gummy Worms should also be banned from Locker Rooms for the health and safety of the players. The Uniform that was covered in it was proof on how bad they were for you.

"Those are my fin..." GAG "...findings Professor." Was he finished now, he needed to go lose his lunch again, away from the Astronomy Professor.

No soft foods, interesting. Airey sort of just nodded his head as he took this information in. "Once you are done with detention here I want you to go to the kitchen and inform the house elves, er, Toddles of this. The Heads of House as well to ensure that their teams are able to perform at full performance at all times," he instructed Mr. Gunter.

Ah, fresh Bubble Head Charm air was lovely, wouldn't you agree?

Smirking a bit, Airey gave another flick of his wand to summon the same muggle cleaning apparatus that students were using for laundry duty. "I trust you are familiar with the use of this device," he said, still slightly smirking. "Your next task is to clean all those uniforms using that device along with the following."

Just then a plastic spoon, some laundry detergent, and a spiffy little muggle stain removing stick came levitating out of the darkness.

"First, Mr. Gunter, you are to use the plastic spoon to remove as much vomit as possible from those quidditch uniforms and practice bibs. Best not be breaking that spoon, because you will not be getting another and breaking it will be considered further damage to school property. You can just scrap that off onto the floor. It won't make too much of a difference to the asthetics of this place." And they had already gone over damage to school property once before. No need to dive further into that. "Once you have scraped off as much vomit as you can, you must rinse the back of the stained area with the cold water provided in that basin."

He then summoned one more basin. This one filled with hot water.

"Next, you need to apply a this muggle stain remover stick to the vomit stain. Just pop the cap off and rub it all over. Let the clothing sit for 3-5 minutes and wash it in this basin with a little liquid laundry detergent. You may then hang the clothing on the drying rack over there to your right." He paused for a moment. "They should be spotless when you are done, Mr. Gunter."

Was the boy sick of throw up yet?

Heh. Punny. Hehe.

Not done...Of course he was going to have to clean them next. Oakey sort of pouted at this, but admittedly he saw this coming a light year mile away. "I'm aware of it." Oakey said as he took each of the items in his hand and stared most noticably at the 'Magic Wand' stick. This was some kind of a joke to Flamsteed now. Hopefully the Large-Foreheaded Professor was taking delight in this after what he had done to his suit. "Should I inform Professor James of this as well as the Heads?"
He didn't hear him mention the Quidditch instructor, and Oakey figured she above anyone else should know that Students should refrain from eating certain food. He'll probably let slip that Gummy snacks are an issue too.


alright fist up was the spoon scrapping. This was going to be the most difficult of tasks so he grabbed the easiest of Robes to work with first. The Slytherin Practice Bib covered in said Gummy filth he hated so much. He had to be gentle, but forceful with this stuff to get it all off and not break the spoon. He was not going to be accused of destroying school property again.

Oakey took as much of the vile and racid gummy vomit off the bib as much as he could letting it drop to the floor next to his feet.
Not once did the spoon even snap on him. Luck had to be found in the smalled of forms while in detention.

He took the Green Robe to the cold water, and dunked it in. Like it was Professor Flamsteed getting dropped into a dunking Booth. Pushing it up and down in the water, pulling it out then twisting it. Repeating this several times. Once he finished rinsing it he popped open the 'Magic Wand'. This Robe had a large area stained all over it so he'd need to use a lot of the remover. He laid it out flat on the floor, probably not the best place but he had no where else to set it up properly without it getting dirtier. He used more force with this stick, and watched as the 'Magic Wand' Magically made the stain vanish...Heh...

As Oakey moved along with the detergent and the drying rack, washing the Slytherin Robe, then hanging it He started to silently hum to himself a tune that may or may not have been the old Star Trek theme. It was to butchered and occasionally may have turned into the Imperial March, but it defenitely had the feel of Star trek too it at the start and at different intervals while he continued scrapping, washing, 'Magic Wanding', washing again, then drying wach of the uniforms.
See, Professor. He did care about trying to understand his Muggle Cult, he just wasn't very good at it.

Oh, yes. How could he have forgotten Professor James. "Yes yes," he nodded. "You should certainly inform her as well." Could prove to be beneficial for her as well, not just for her personally when she was officiating but also before lessons. Some foods just did not go well with flying on a broom. Mechanics and all.

He was about to wander through the physics and biological factors that could cause such results in the complex maze that was his mind, but his attention returned to the Head Boy as he continued to clean the soiled uniforms. He couldn't be sure since he still had a Bubble Head Charm around his head, but the smell was lessening a bit. That is if the flicker of the flames had anything to do with that.

No chest hair on veela now. But probably would still grow on some of the more attractive teaching staff - like Medea and Calista.

Wait, huh?

Back to the Head Boy before he made himself feel awkward....who was now singing. OH! Was this a Star Wars and Star Trek medley?! HOW BRILLIANT! Only Mr. Gunter was not very good at arranging music. So, in order to help keep the boy on track and because he couldn't resist, he began to whistle the Star Trek theme for him to follow along as he continued to clean.

Whistle while you work, yes?

"Let me know once you have finished with those uniforms," he said. Then Mr. Gunter could move on to the next stage.

Oakey continued his horrible rendition of the Star Trek theme/Imperial March until Flamsteed cut in and began to whistle along with him. Well, Whistled better than he hummed the theme.
That was probably the way he was supposed to hum the song, but Oakey was wise to Flamsteed. He was slowly brainwashing him into his cult. So instead he went to humming just the Imperial March. Creating a better mix of the two songs.

...and done! "All hung up and finished Professor." Could they move along? Oakey no longer felt punished. The stench was partially gone, but still lingering. He did not feel the need to throw up anymore though. Happy Professor, Oakey's stomach was empty.

Giving up on the whistling for now - this was detention and not fun time and his poor suit was still suffering - he waited patiently for Mr. Gunter to finish. Once he had, the smirk on his lips grew even more and he rose from his seat.

"Excellent, you have done a fine service to your school," he said with a nod as he looked at the boy's work. "Once you have completed the final step of your detention and given your report to the Heads of House, Professor James, and Toddles, perhaps we can negociate those 50 points you lost." But only after all that, and this next step was going to be a bit disturbing. Airey was no good with bones and feces.

"Now you are going to do me a service, Mr. Gunter. As you know, all spare personal funds have been used towards Hogwarts, namely using the turnstiles, so I have not been able to pay for my usual muggle drycleaning," he began as he summoned one final basket filled with unusually large black pellets. "Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, it seems that some of the school's owls have been accidentally swallowing coins for whatever reason." Bird brains, who knew what they were thinking. "You are to go through these owl pellets and find whatever wizarding money you can find. You will not find any galleons in there, mind you. Mostly knuts with the occasional sickle. Once you have found 2 galleons worth of money, you are to wash those off and give them to me so that I may pay for the dry cleaning of the suit you threw up on."

He then levitated the box of owl pellets towards the Head Boy. He could begin as long as there were no further questions.

Fine, fine no more humming Oakey understood. You shouldn't enjoy yourself in a detention to begin with so he'll just fake it. Washing clothes wasn't so bad, he figured that Flamsteed would hold this major grudge on him.

Oakey slipped his rubber gloves off his hand ready to be done with the detention. But before he could even make steps to the door Flamsteed continued on. "Sixty" Oakey tried to correct him politely. "You took Sixty from me, Professor." Could he move on, and get to informing the House Elf and Staff of food they should be aware of before Quidditch matches, or practices.

He held back a sigh and slipped his rubber gloves on once more. Of course there was more...WAIT, he was to do what? "If you need two galleons for Laundry, I could just spare you some from my access jar." This seemed fair, but ONCE again, this was a detention, so there was no sense in trying to reason with a Professor you throw up on. Sitting Legs crossed, Oakey dug his hand deep into the basket and pulled out a handful of pellets. "Stupid damn birds" Oakey grumbled as he picked apart a pellet only to find tiny bones of some unfortunate rat. He continued to pick apart another one this time paying close attention to the pellet. If it looked like it had something shiny inside of it (perferably sickles).

...

"Do I need to bring this to the attention of the Head Mistress, maybe Professor Barlow?", Oakey questioned as he plucked out a knut and threw it into a pile of coins he had slowly been collecting. He kept careful track of the sickles he was collecting. He had a large pile of knuts, it was no where near the ammount of 2 galleons. His sickles though, he just needed 4 more. taking one more handful he picked it the pellets apart tossing smalls bones aside, knuts into one pile, and there we go! 4 sickles exactly! Taking the Pile of Knuts and sickles Oakey carried them over to the Basin of Cold water and dropped them into it. Dunking his hand into the water next he swirled and swushed it around to let the coins excess excrements clean themselves off.

After about 10 minutes of this. Oakey scooped up the coins and in a large handful carried the knuts, and sickles in to Professor Airey. "There are 34 sickles in this pile. You can keep the extra knuts too, although I didn't count them."
WAS THERE ANYTHING ELSE LARGE-FOREHEAD-MAN NEEDED HIM TO DO??

Airey smirked. "I took away 50 points for you regurgitating on my suit, Mr. Gunter, and 10 for your dishonesty and destruction of school property," he corrected with a pointed look complete with pointed finger pointing.

Did you get the point, Mr. Gunter?

And he was not going to comment on this access jar. He wasn't about to steal from students in order to do his dry cleaning. He was above that you see. Just wasn't above making students pick through owl pellets looking for money. One owl's waste was another man's treasure!

Oh, that had been accomplished much quicker than he had anticipated. And there were far more sickles in the pile than he imagined there would have been. What was this, Mr. Gunter? Too lazy to count the knuts? Lazily waving his wand, Airey conjured a small bag and presented it to the boy, "You may put the coins in this bag, Mr. Gunter."

Folding his legs underneath him now to sit Indian style in his chair, he squinted at the boy for a moment. "Tell me, Mr. Gunter, now that you have quite literally gotten your hands dirty with vomit and owl pellets, why did I select these punishments in conjunction to the use of this particular dungeon?" Meaning the name of the dungeon, Hooligan Hole.

Of course he wasn't going to get his whole sixty points lost back. That's exactly what he meant by that. Oakey knew, and he wasn't happy. Yeah he'll be working to get his Fifty lost for, disposing of his lunch onto Flamsteed. Those ten points could be a deciding factor near the end of the year. No more tieing with Slytherin.

snatching the small bag from Flamsteed. He dumped the coins into the bag and held it back out for the Professor to take. He hadn't told him if he should see Professor Barlow about the Coin-Eating Owls. Did that mean don't bother, or do what ever. Because if it was do what ever. He'd let the damn birds eat coins.

Literally gotten his hands dirty? No...the Professor gave him rubber gloves. So his hands were fine. Probably still smelled lik...generic soap bar. He missed his Prefect bathroom soaps very much. "To teach me how to respect school, and Professor property." Obviosly. "Picking Coins out of Owl Waste...I think that was just a cruel and unusual punishment for disrespecting the suit." Oakey was dead serious about that, even it was unintentional don't disrespect anything Professor Flamsteed considers his.

Airey set the bag of coins down at his feet and then returned to looking at the boy. Oh, he probably could remove his Bubble Head Charm now as well. Doing so with one more flick of the wand, he folded his hands together and leaned his elbows on his knees. Cruel and unusual? More like sweet justice. Not that he would say that out loud.

"Good, Mr. Gunter. I will return those 50 points to you once you have reported your findings. You may simply leave a note under their office doors if you wish," he said. "I will be checking to see if you have done so." Eyes EVERYWHERE.

"There is one last thing you need to do, Mr. Gunter. Can you guess what that is?" he asked, his brow furrowing towards the Head Boy. It had to do with the reason for his other point loss.

Detention was just about over, he could feel it in his gut. Which was a good feeling, and not that one where he had the need to throw up through most of Detention. The Room smelled less like Vomit now, and more like Laundry Detergent. "I'll hop right to it." Really how hard could slipping notes under doors be...if he didn't take into account two of those doors would be past the Greenhouse, and the other was Lafay's. Shouldn't he be allowed one final meal of his choosing. He suddenly, and for the first time craved Ice Cream.

One last thing? "Oh my Summer assignment!" He'll make sure Theodore writes it the correct way this time. "I'll have that to you once I finish informing the Head's, and Professor James" Good, Large-Forehead happy yet?

Airey furrowed his brow. Perhaps detention was not over yet considering the Head Boy had apparently learned nothing from his punishment in regards to said homework assignment. "Mr. Gunter, for what reasons did I give you detention?"

He had no clue where Flamsteed was going with this? They had covered barf, and destruction of school property. Was there something else that he did wrong?
Stop furrowing your brows at me! Give me hints, I need hints. How else had he wronged Professor Flamsteed? Did he mock Star Trek without knowing it? Was it how he hummed the song? Should he have done so differently? Maybe tapped his foot to it instead?

Oh Star Trek, this was about the essay...so he was sort of on track with it? But what!?!?! "Umm? Okay...was I not honest about something regarding the Essay?" Think think think. Oakey he's not gonna give you hints...will he? Oakey looked up at the Astro Professor, maybe his large forehead held the answer in there somewhere?

Airey's smirk widened a bit more. "You are getting warmer, Mr. Gunter," he nodded as he checked his sundial watch. Sweet solstice, was it getting to be this time already? "Dishonesty, Mr. Gunter, is not becoming on anyone. ESPECIALLY the Head Boy. Whether you knew it or not at that time, you were the first to initiate the destruction of school property at the Opening Feast. When Mr. Firth came and punished Mr. Kinsley, did you say anything? Did you attempt to clarify the situation?"

That was why? He just thought Theo was getting his just-deserts for wrecking his hard work. "B-" Oakey stopped himself, it was better to just go with it. Theo was actually the first to do what Flamsteed was accusing him of. Theo was snapping the spoons first. Ugh, just get this detention done with now Oakey!
"Right, I wasn't aware that the paper plates were school property until the Head Mistress said so in her speech. I'll be more careful of what I use to write on until I know I can write on it." good enough? He wanted Ice Cream for some unknown reason now.

This wasn't getting them anywhere. Apparently Mr. Gunter was not very good at FINDing conclusions and connections on his own. "The point is, Mr. Gunter, that you observed a classmate being punished for something you yourself also did. Intentional or not. Not only that, but you took advantage of the situation." Small pause while he took a breath. Weren't Hufflepuffs supposed to be loyal? "As Head Boy it is your duty to be a voice for your fellow students, not use the title to your advantage."

Harsh? Probably, but that was just how he saw it. Clearly AliSTAR just assumed that because the boy has a badge he could do no wrong. And while Airey DID like Mr. Gunter a lot, the Hufflepuff needed to take a step back and examine the situation more.

"Not only this, but you attempted to lie to me about who had done the essay and tried to play off Mr, Kinsley's less than mediocre work as your own. That does not seem very Head Boy to me NOR very Hufflepuff."

Did he get it now?

"What do you think you should do about this situation?"

Great, now not only did the Head Mistress think he was a terrible Head Boy, worth only to be sneezed on. So did Flamsteed.

So should he sulk, or step up his game?

"I-um-I'm sorry."

He really could use an Ice Cream now, and maybe some of his secret stash of sweets. "I mean I'll go apologize to Wi-to Theodore, and Mr.Firth."
He didn't mean to wrong them in anyway. He just didn't want to step in Mr.Firths Authority when the man came down to handle the situation.

"I'll speak up more on stuff I guess."

Airey took a deep breath and relaxed a bit. Seemed as though his words had finally gotten through to the boy. He hated wearing his authority pants - which were the suit pants he was in now, by the way - but sometimes it needed to be done.

"You don't need to apologize to me, Mr. Gunter," he began, but then the Head Boy figured out who he needed to apologize to. All was well. "Be sure that you do."

Oops? Had he broken Mr. Gunter? Poor kid looked like he could use some ice cream. Airey could too, actually.

"Despite what happened last term, Mr. Gunter." You know, the whole silencing thing. "Your voice is very important, more so now than it was before in fact. Use it and use it wisely."

Jumping out of his seat now, Airey walked over to the boy and gave him a pat on the back. "We're done here. Now how about we grab some ice cream before you start making amends?" Hmmm?

"Ice Cream for real?" Yeah he was craving it, but it was just that a craving. Oakey wanted to look at the list of barf that covered the Uniforms. Ice Cream wasn't a part of it, so he supposed it was okay. "Ice Cream sounds, okay...If it's Sugar Free."
Just cave in Oakey, have the damn ice cream and enjoy it.
"Thank you Professor"

"Let's see what we can find in the kitchens," he nodded as he lead the two out of the dungeon and locked it behind them.

He probably should go wash up before having any ice cream though. Mr. Gunter. Not him. Airey hadn't been picking through vomit and owl pellets all day.
