Welcome to your FINAL duel.
Winner of this duel will be proclaimed 5th Place of the Curse Tournament. Looser will be declared 6th place!
Each dueler is expected to adhere to all DADA Classroom rules, Dueling Club Rules and SS site rules.
Spells may be used from the following List. Any spells on this list are not permitted unless approval has been granted.
If you have completed/participated in the second DADA Lesson, regarding the homing spell, you are now permitted to use it during your duel.
Physical actions and their costs can be found below:
NOTE: Fatigue points ONLY need to be used when you are physically attacking someone, or avoiding a spell. All other maneuverings around the hall do not need to be accounted for.

A referee (Professor Flamsteed or Dakest) will be assigned to your duel and present. They will only interfere if there is need, including foul play, serious injury or unacceptable or illogical use of spells.

OOC: Each duel must be completed by no later than November 30, midnight GMT-6 (OOC). Remember that a duel ends when one dueler has lost ALL magic or ALL health points. Please make duels a minimum of 3 posts each.

If you have questions, please ask. Also, if for some reason you cannot complete or start your duel, please let both me and your partner know. We will work something out.
Remember: duelers MUST keep track of their own points as they go. At the top of their post (in the tag line) they must include their current standing of points, as they are at the BEGINNING of that post. At the bottom of their post, they must include a 'spoiler' tag, including the spells which they've cast (and the directionallity of the spell, so the opponent can easily reference the potential damage to themselves), the spell(s) that have affected them (if any) and their own final Point Standing for that post. | |

The Final duel and Adi was READY! Ready to give this duel his all since he had won one and lost one so he was looking to make this a second win. He turned to face Yoongi after he had put some distance between then. What came first? Oh, yeah! Etiquette... which meant bowing was included. The Hufflepuff gave a quick one, eyed his friend for a second before raising his wand. There would be no time wasting here. Nope. "Silencio!'' Immediately this was followed up with the Stinging Hex. Adi had learnt from his duel with Evie that it was good to use follow up spells. Yessers, so this was indeed what he would be doing. |

His last duel for the fifth or sixth place and it was against Adi. That meant that like him, the Hufflepuff Prefect had won one duel and lost another but the seventh year was going to have to write two losses cause he was going to lose this! Mwahaha!
Yoongi bowed as well, a normal one and not a quick one like Adi had done which was his mistake. Before he was even upright, he heard him shout the first incantation and before his brain registered what happened he felt something. He tried to speak but couldn’t. He was silenced and he hated it. He liked hearing his own voice! Whyyyy do this Adi whyyyy?! He pouted at the Prefect before his eyes widened when he saw the white light of the stinging hex coming his way.
Oh no, he could do without his voice BUT NOT THE FACE! So focused on NOT getting his beautiful face to get injured , the Gryffindor ducked quickly and the spell flew over his head before it hit the wall behind him, Phew. Not wasting another second, Yoongi pointed his wand at Adi and casted a non-verbal because he was silenced 'Incarcerous' in his direction.

Adi smirked a teeny bit when he realised that the Silencing Charm had hit his friend. Excellent! Would the Stinging Hex also hit? He honestly hated throwing the spell since he knew Yoongi cared so much about his appearance but at the end, the spell could be counteracted if actions were not taken to prevent the hit.
Yoongi managed to dodge the spell. No worries. Adi would strike back. Or Yoongi would. The disadvantage of being silenced meant that he was at risk for non verbal spells which clearly was something Yoongi was capable of. Too late did he register the wand movement and all too soon he was bound with ropes. His entire body! UGH! The Hufflepuff lost his balance, tumbling backwards. Luckily he managed to keep a grip on his wand even if it was just barely. He aimed the wand at his feet ‘’Diffindo!’’ The ropes binding his feet fell away and he was quickly able to unravel the remainder before jumping to his feet. ‘’Levicorpus!’’ Not wasting any time here. Nope. | |
