As you make your way through the trap door a sense of normality might set in. Thought the seventh floor corridor is filled with cobwebs and you might be wiping them from your face and hands from the ladder, Professor Cassie has cleaned up the best she could in the classroom and set it back to her favorite colors. Even with all the cleaning you may find that there are a few cobwebs already starting to appear in the corners of the room.
The room is filled with calming music and lavender fills the room and there is tea set out for anyone who would like some. The word plastromancy is on the bored and Bob the box turtle is set up in a little playpen with his ball rolling it around. Professor Cassie is at the front of the room sipping on her own peppermint tea waiting for the students to come in. As always on the table is the snap cup just waiting for students proud moments.
Angel looked at her boyfriend and smiled and then she picked up the sieve, so now it was her turn to interrogate her boyfriend, not that she thought he did it anyway.
"Damnare Ostendere!" Angel tapped the sieve with her wand. "Benny Atreyu !!" Angel then suddenly thought about it, that wasn't his full name. "Benjamin Atreyu!" Angel said his full name this time and waited to see what would happen with the sieve.

Well, that was unexpected.
Lux stared at the sieve for a moment while wondering if that had actually happened or her eyes were playing a trick on her. Adi and AJ had seen it too, so clearly she wasn't going insane. Since he clearly wasn't guilty, there had to be another explanation.
"Maybe it's because the atmosphere is tense?" What with Bob being gone and Professor Cassie on a mission to prove someone guilty, that was a perfectly reasonable explanation. Lux was sure that she hadn't performed the spell incorrectly.

Toby let out the tiniest of sighs. He couldn't get started until he had a partner, though for all those reasons he was kind of reluctant to actively seek one out. Instead, he put the sieve on his head and slumped a little in his seat, thinking hard. And then, THEN, the answer came to him and he looked back at the professor. She was the one who was most upset about Bob, so clearly she'd be the one least likely to have borrowed him. She didn't need to borrow Bob; she already had him. That way he could participate, worry-free.
"Professor?" Toby said, and the sieve on his head wobbled but stayed up there. "Can I try it out on you? Can you be my partner?" He looked at her beseechingly. "Please?"
Cassie had been walking around the classroom when she heard one of her students and looked towards him. "You can't find someone to partner with?" She glanced around the class before her eyes focused back on him. "I'd love to work with you." Seeing that he had a sieve she moved closer to his desk.
Pulling out her wand she put her hands on the sieve, "Shall I start?" Giving a small grin, for some reason she didn't feel Toby would have it moved, he was family after all. Touching the sieve with her wand, "Damnare Ostendere" Now they would see if Toby was a good student or not. "Tobias Fuller-Thomas" She watched the sieve with interest.
Hey everyone, it seems with the American Holiday weekend and just weekend in general everyone has been busy, so I'm going to extend tis part until 11 a.m. EST tomorrow.
"Yeah," Kate said, nodding when Cinna asked if it was her. "It's been a while, I think. Almost two years, maybe. I was eleven the last time we really talked, and I'm thirteen now." Not like thirteen was really super old, but being a teenager just made Kate feel so much cooler. "Cinna, right?"
Cinna wanted to go first, so Kate nodded. "Sure, go right on ahead. I figure an older student probably knows how to do this better than me anyway." If Kate had any questions, hopefully she could answer them by watching Cinna. "My full name is Kate Evangeline Addison," she told her, because according to the directions, she'd need to know that.
Kate got herself situated and looked over at Cinna, waiting patiently for the older girl to start.
Wow time really did fly by didn't it? That was two years ago almost. She had really grown up and fast. Thirteen. Thirteen that was almost four years ago for her. What were kids that age up to nowa days? She was starting to pretty old now. She smiled at the now thirteen year old. "Yeah, it's Cinna."
She sat down and put the sieve in front of them. Great she was going get to go first. She laughed lightly, "We'll see. I don't know about that." She really didn't know but they would get though this together. Right? Right. "Kate Evangeline Addison? I really like your middle name." It was a very pretty name. "I'm Cinnamon Destinee Bayless." You know so she would know when she was her turn.
The sixth year took her wand out "Damnare ostendere.... Kate Evangeline Addison." And tapped the sieve with the tip of her wand. What was going to be the outcome?

Well, she had already checked her bag, and under the desk and chair. It obviously wasn't her. But anyway, they had to do this. She went up and collected a sieve and looked around. Was anyone else not partnered up?
Well this was getting more interesting by the minute. If conscinomancy really worked, somebody was going to get busted. Janelle listened to the instructions and took a few notes so she wouldn't forget what to do. Then she went up and got a sieve for herself and returned to her seat.
She was going to need a partner and Janelle looked around to see who might be in need of one. Her classmates seemed to be partnering up quickly so she really needed to find someone to work with soon. Not seeing any potential partners, Janelle called our. "Anyone need a partner? I'm available." Hopefully she would find a taker soon.
Suddenly, Janelle noticed that Zhenya seemed to be in need of a partner too. She walked over to the older girl and made her pitch. "Hi there. I was wondering if you might want to be partners with me." Zhenya was cool so Janelle hoped that she would agree to work with her. Hopefully she wouldn't mind working with a second year.

Toby decided it was best to neither confirm nor deny that. He hadn't found anyone, but then again hadn't really actively looked, because of all those tricky reasons. Instead he sort of half shrugged with one shoulder, and set the sieve down on the table when Professor Cassie said she'd work with him, giving her smile, too. "Thanks, Professor."
He nodded for the professor to go first, because that way then he would get to see a demonstration of how it was done, too, and it never hurt to have that. Toby watched intently, or as close to intently as his brain ever allowed on a regular day, eyes occasionally flicking up to Aun-... Professor Cassie's face but mostly staying fixed on the sieve, also interested to see if it would move.
...
......
.........
Nothing was... happening. So... um. Did that mean he was in the clear? Totes innocent and whatnot? Toby hoped so, though technically he knew that already. It was just nice that the sieve seemed to agree. Really, Toby wouldn't have been surprised had it shivered or something, as he was hiding a good many things, but none of them were Bob-related and all of them were more... emotional related. In the context of the classroom, though, he felt fine and guilt free even if a little upset that all this was necessary.
He watched the sieve for a few moments longer, just to be safe, then glanced up at the professor again. "So... my turn now?" ... "Not that I even suspect you did it, or anything, 'cause you didn't need to borrow Bob 'cause you were already looking after him, but can't help to practice." Rambling? Definitely rambling.
Mentally ordering his gob to stop yapping, Toby drew his wand and placed his other hand on the sieve for a moment, then took his hand away and did that spell thing. "Damnare Ostendere." He then began to twirl his wand between his fingers as he added, "Profess-..." Wait, no... that wasn't her actual name. Uhh... "Cass...ie..." That... wasn't her full first name, either. Toby knew what it was, somehow, maybe hearing it in passing from his dad once or twice, but couldn't remember anything other than that it was Astronomy related. Well... good enough. "... Morgan."
Okay, sieve. Have at it. Toby watched it carefully to see if it did anything.

Eek, Zhenya was just about to give up and ask Professor Cassie to be her partner, but luckily Janelle came up to her and asked if she wanted to be partners. A smile broke out on Zhenya's face, "Absolutely Janelle, thank you!"
She walked back over to the desks. "Who should go first?" she asked, sieve in hand. She placed it on the table, in the middle. Was that where it was supposed to be?

Benny waited and watched quietly as Angel went to cast the spell on him. He nearly spoke up to correct her on using his nickname, but the younger lion realized it all on her own. For once the less commonly used form of his name was the only one that could work. Professor Morgan had indeed told them to use their FULL names, or rather have their partners to use their full name in this case.
And there was the sieve between them. The sieve that stood stock still on the desk even as it was tapped with Angel's wand during the spell casting. But then it wasn't like he had stolen poor Bob from his box. Him...harm a creature? Even steal a creature? Bah....that was a crazy joke. "Guess I'm good..." he absently mused. Now they just had to wait for the other results that were received.

Janelle had her fingers crossed behind her back for good luck. It must have worked because Zhenya agreed to be her partner. "Thank you so much", Janelle said to her partner with a smile. She didn't know what she would have done if she'd said no.
Janelle put her sieve in the middle of the table next to Zhenya's. Then she said, "I'll do you first. Are you ready?" Taking out her wand, Janelle gave Zhenya's sieve a tap. "Damnare Ostendere", she said, making sure to concentrate on getting the words right. "Zhenya Burton" The name part was easy. Now Janelle watched the sieve to see whether or not anything would happen. Knowing Zhenya, she was sure that it would remain perfectly still.

Zhenya smiled at Janelle. She wondered how her sister was going, but didn't want to continuously ask the girl about her. Perhaps she would Owl her sometime soon instead. "It's okay, thank you for being my partner."
Zhenya felt those nervous butterflies in her stomach. UGH it was awful. She was sure she would fail a lie detector just for being nervous. Zhenya sat still whilst Janelle volunteered to go first. She did the spell and said her name, and they waited.
It moved.
Zhenya's face dropped.
WHAT?
HOW?
NOOOOO!
It was just perfect. PERFECT. MERLIN! Zhenya knew Professor Cassie would think she had actually taken Bob. She hadn't. SHE HADN'T! Zhenya groaned and flopped forward, her head making a loud bang on the table. Ouch. She started to shake her head.
No, it was just her imagination, right? She looked up at Janelle, "Did... did you see it move?" she asked in a quiet voice. She hadn't right? Zhenya looked down at the sieve. It definitely wasn't in the middle anymore. Uhhohh... but BUT SHE WAS INNOCENT!

Janelle watched the sieve like a hawk, even though she knew it wouldn't move. Then she was sure that she was seeing things because she thought that the sieve moved just a little bit. She looked up at Zhenya, confusion written all over her face. Of course Zhenya would never steal Bob. Janelle was sure of it.
When Janelle saw Zhenya's reaction, she knew she hadn't imagined the movement. "Ummmm.......I'm not really sure. It seemed to move just a little. Maybe it moved when your head hit the table." It was possible, right?
Janelle began to get nervous herself. How accurate was this form of Divination anyway? Professor Cassie did say that the sieve could move if the person was nervous. That had to be it. "I'm sure it was just a mistake", she said to her partner. Right at that moment, Janelle didn't want to think about taking her turn. Did she have to do it?

Zhenya looked at Janelle. Yes... yes, perhaps it did only move because Zhenya's head had bumped the table. Yes... yes, that was the story and Zhenya was sticking to it. She gulped.
And nodded. A mistake. Yes, yes that was it. It was a mistake, and it only moved because of Zhenya's head. Janelle surely knew how to explain the situations. A Ravenclaw she was. Indeed...
"Your turn," Zhenya said, trying to relax her face and calm her voice. Hopefully Professor Cassie didn't see that... she didn't, did she? Oh Merlin, she probably did see. She'd take Zhenya to Headmistress Truebridge's office and dob her in, saying that Zhenya had stolen Bob. And then she'd be expelled. Expelled only weeks away from exams. NO. She wouldn't be. Couldn't be. Professor Cassie would see that it was a mistake, wouldn't she?
"Damnare Ostendere," Zhenya said, tapping the sieve with her wand, "Janelle Guidry." It was time to wait, again. Would it move? Was it a faulty sieve? Would it stay perfectly still? What would it do?

Well Zhenya seemed a little calmer. She shook the table and that caused the sieve to move. That had to be it. While her partner seemed to feel better, Janelle was trying to feel confident about her turn. She had no reason to be worried because she was not guilty.
Zhenya said the incantation and followed it with Janelle's name. The second year looked at the sieve, knowing that it couldn't possibly move........but it did and there was no mistaking it. The sieve began to shake and then moved slightly to the right. Janelle's head began to shake from side to side. No......no way. This could not be happening. They must have had some really bad vibe hanging over their table because she hadn't done anything.
Janelle didn't know what to do. She looked at Zhenya with her head still shaking. "No", she whispered. "I didn't kidnap Bob.......I didn't." Would Zhenya believe her? Would the class? Would Professor Cassie? Janelle was going to have to tell the Professor what happened with the sieve. If she did though, she was going to be in big trouble. Professor Cassie was nuts about Bob and she was on a mission. Heads were going to roll and Janelle did not want hers to be one of them.
Janelle looked at Zhenya with a pleading "please believe me, I didn't do it" kind of look. Then she raised her hand to get the Professor's attention. "Professor Cassie", Janelle said softly. Clearing her throat, Janelle spoke a little louder. "Professor Cassie." She might as well get this over with.

Well of course it didn't move....
She knew it wouldn't move, Toby would never steal from her. He had no reason to, especially stealing a turtle when his father was the creatures professor. She beamed at him before checking out the rest of the room.
Hmmm did a few move? She was eyeing these people.
Her green eyes turned back to Toby as he started his part. "Cassiopeia, it has to be the full name. Would you like to try again?" She knew she was innocent though so if he didn't want to he didn't have to. Seeing the sieve not move was very much expected even with just Cassie.
Hearing her name she turned to Janelle, "Is something wrong?" Giving Toby a just a second look she headed over to the girls.

She was innocent, she was innocent so it would be OK. So why did Janelle feel terrified? Professor Cassie was coming her way and she was going to have to deliver the bad news. Janelle looked at Zhenya and then at the Professor as she reached their table.
Taking a deep breath, Janelle just got straight to the point. "Professor Cassie, my sieve moved.......but I did not take Bob. I swear I didn't. You have to believe me. I would never hurt Bob." Janelle waited to hear what the Professor would say. She had to know that Janelle was telling the truth. Couldn't she feel it?

Kate looked down at the sieve Cinna placed between them. What if it moved for some weird and random reason, and the professor thought Kate stole Bob when she really didn't? Kate worried about odd things like that, even when she really didn't need to be worried at all. She knew she didn't take Bob. Why would she want a turtle anyway?
"Thanks," she said, smiling when Cinna complimented her middle name. "I like your first and your middle name. Cinnamon is already cool, and then Destinee just makes it even cooler." It was true. As Cinna said the incantation, Kate squeezed her eyes shut, afraid to look at the sieve for who knew what reason. A second later, she opened just ONE eye, just in time to not see the sieve move at all. It was just motionless, like some flag drooping in a windless area.
"Whew. I knew it'd stay still, but I kept worrying about some accidental mess-up," she confessed. "Okay, my turn," she added. She got the sieve situated where it needed to be and drew her wand. "Damnare Ostendere," she began. "Cinnamon Destinee Bayless."

She really did like her first and middle names. Except for when someone made some ridiculous 'Oh your name is Cinnamon joke' They learned quickly and only made that mistake once. "Thank you." It did sound really cool together Cinnamon Destinee. Like a dessert or something be named after her or something. Actually yes a dessert should be named after her.
Anyway back to divination. "I knew you didn't take Bob." She didn't know Kate all that great. But she knew that Kate wouldn't do that. She laughed a bit. "Sieve malfunction?" She watched Kate as she done this same thing with the sieve as she did except for Kate said her name this time.
The sixth year watched the sieve it see what it was going to do. Cinna nervously bit her lip. She knew how this was gong to end. The sieve quivered. "Hmmmm Professor? My sieve moved too." Did she really take Bob? But wait there was another student who's sieve moved too apparently. What did that mean? Both of them couldn't have taken Bob. There was two of them and one Bob. "What? There can't be two of u can three be?"

Wait!
WHAAAA?
Janelle's sieve had moved too?! Adi's head snapped in the direction of his Ravenclaw friend. NO WAY! He let out a small snort in disbelief. "Professor, mine moved too but like Janelle and Cinna, I'm innocent.'' He had gotten over his initial shock of the object moving by now. "I think someone pranked the sieves to react like this.'' Or like Lux had said, it was something in the atmosphere.
One thing was for sure... he was not in cahoots with Janelle, Cinna or anyone else.

Zhenya was astounded. It moved for Janelle too? Zhenya exhaled a sigh of relief. Janelle would never have taken Bob. Neither had Zhenya. Poor Janelle, "Don't worry Janelle, I don't think you did it. I didn't do it, and it moved for me. We couldn't have both taken Bob." Could they? No, no Zhenya certainly had NOT taken Bob, and she believed Janelle.
Professor Cassie came over then, just after Janelle had asked her to. Of course it was best to speak out, rather than hide it. Janelle told her that the sieve had moved on her, and Zhenya decided she would come out too. "It moved for me too, Professor. I... I would never take Bob, never. Please believe us," she said, her brow furrowed.

Finding the thief?! That would be AWESOME if only ti weren't so dreadful and scary. Norah gave AJ a small smile anyways, because she was cool and that meant smiles. Once Professor Cassie was finished with the instructions, she looked down at the sieve and then back up at her partner. "Should I cast it first, then?" What if she cast it all wrong and the thingy thought AJ had done it even though she hadn't? What if AJ HAD done it? Nooo, she wouldn't do something so terrible...right? With a suddenly apprehensive gland at her partner, the fourth year positioned the sieve between them and pulled out her wand. "Here goes nothin'." EXCEPT that it was kind of EVERYTHING, but if the Gryffindor really was an evil turtle stealing thief then it probably wasn't a very good idea to show she was nervous. You never knew what a real live mean person could do.
"Damnare Ostendere!" TAAAP "AJ Valentine!" Wait a sec. That wasn't even her full name. Norah grinned sheepishly at her partner. Oops. She cleared her throat and raised her wand again. "Damnare Ostendere! TAP "Aubrey Janelle Valentine." Turtle thief or not, that was a COOOL name.
Norah wasn't scared, was she? Was AJ the only one who was really excited by the whole thing? Sure, she didn't want anything bad to happen to Bob, but it was thrilling. Things always went down at Hogwarts and AJ had a front row seat. She was just really going to be bummed if someone was the turtle thief and she missed it. As much as she loved working with Norah, she knew she was the turtle thief. In fact you could probably cross every Hufflepuff off the suspect list. Eyes on the snakes though. Not that she was being judgmental or anything. Ahem.
AJ nodded her agreement when Norah suggested they try it out on AJ first. Right now she was distracted. As her fellow fourth year friend got situated, AJ scanned the room. Anything that moved was going to catch her eye. High alert! Scanning, scanning when suddenly she saw something move. Ohhh... somebody WAS a turtle thief. Who was it?
AJ sucked in air. Her eyes were huge and she unknowingly had her mouth hanging open. The sieve that was moving belonged to her boyfriend.
......
...
.....
That dirty, rotten, turtle snatching, phony baloney Hufflepuff boyfriend. Was Adi even his real name? Dramatic much? A little bit, but mainly because he was going to be in BIG trouble if he stole a turtle before he stole a unicorn. Did he have no regard all ALL for her? Still, she was a ride or die girlfriend, and she wasn't going to call him out.
"Pssssssst. Adiiii" Did he need help? Blink twice if he needed her to knock over a sieve so he and Bob could make a run for it.
How long had she been staring over there? The sound of her name coming from her partner's mouth brought her attention back. Right. They didn't need to do this now. They knew who the culprit was. It could be wrong though...right?
AJ stared at her sieve. Nothing happened. Of course not. She was completely innocent. It was looking like she was about to become an accomplice though. The lion bit her bottom lip and looked between the professor and Adi, unsure of what to do. Just give her a sign, Adi. Any little sign.
"Looks like I'm in the clear." Not even thinking about Norah possibly seeing what what happening to Adi's sieve until this very moment, she tried to bring the attention back to the task at hand.
"Let's see if you have anything to hide, shall we?" Nothing just happened with Adi. Nope. "Damnare Ostendere." TAP. "Norah Kittredge." Helping Adi escape with the professor's turtle?
Norah let out a slow breath she hadn't realized she was holding. So AJ wasn't a turtle thief. That was a relief. She found herself grinning at her partner as if she'd known she was innocent the entire time. You just never could tell with Gryffindors. That was mean. DON'T TELL ANYBODY SHE THOUGHT THAT.
She was about to open her mouth to tell AJ she was ready when sooooomething was going on. With Adi. His sieve was moving. HIS SIEVE WAS MOVING. HIS SIEVE WAS M O V I N G. The fourth years eyes widened to much they could've been entire plates all by themselves, and she scooted her seat a few inches in the opposite direction. Adi? Prefect Adi who was the nicest person in the entire history of the universe, a lying and stealing meanie face? This was probably worse news than Bob being stolen in the first place but don't tell Professor Cassie that either. Apparently the Hufflepuff's brain wasn't as nice when there were THIEVES and LIARS around. It was like the meanness was contagious. She kept her mouth shut, though, just in case something horrible came out. Apparently she COULD be quiet when it really mattered. So there. Her mum couldn't find out about that either or else she'd expect it all the time and that'd just be boring.
Norah watched the sieve with wide eyes as AJ cast the spell, sitting on her hands to keep from fidgeting too much so the thing thought she was guilty. She was 300% aware of the fact that she was holding her breath this time, which didn't even make much sense considering the fact that she was innocent. Thats, right.....right? YES. Innocent. She kept holding that breath until she was completely sure the sieve was standing perfectly still, finally letting it out and giving her partner a soft smile. "Guess we're both good, then." Except that they WEREN'T because AJ was dating a THIEF and a LIAR and a STEALING MEANIE. What if that was contagious too? Like YAWNS except WORSE.
"Cassiopeia," Toby repeated, nodding his head. Just 'cause it was good to know these things. "... Morgan." Full name yep. He didn't know if that counted as taking a second go, but it didn't really matter because Toby was more focused on adding 'FULL NAME' to his notes under this topic and underlining it a couple of times. "It's okay. I think I know how to do it if I ever have to try it again, and I'm about a hundred and four percent sure it wasn't you." He looked up from his parchment again and gave a small smile.
And that was when someone else called her over, and Toby made the mistake of watching the professor head on over there and... saw that Ravenclaw kid, swiftly followed by a bunch of others, get a little upset because their sieves HAD moved. Toby bit his lip and stayed silent in his seat. He wondered if maybe their sieves had moved because those doing readings were, like... amateurs, students, not professionals. 'Cause the Bob Borrower couldn't be EVERYONE, could it?
... Either way, he remained kinda quiet.
Worried, anxious vibes in this room. He was picking up on them, though that wasn't even necessary, 'cause he could SEE those feelings in action. Rahhhhh it hurt his heart.
"What if maybe Bob wandered off and got a little bit lost and confused?" the Hufflepuff finally interjected, hopefully, though not really talking to anyone in particular. "And no-one took him. And the sieves were moved by a breeze or something?" Could they feel a breeze? Toby couldn't, but he was very good at convincing himself that he could, such was his determination to keep this class positive.

So Janelle's sieve move, but so did Zhenya's. Well they had worked together so maybe it had been all in their head or they hadn't done something incorrectly, but then Cinna and Ad as well. This was interesting. She had figured at least one would move, but four. Oh this was just going to be good. "You know in life there is something called teachable moments and we have just found ours. Could you four please head to the front of the room for me." Flicking her wand the front of the room changed, where her desk was now sat four chairs with a table in front of it. Next to the table and chairs was a judge style seat that she made her way too, but didn't sit in it.
"Toby you have great ideas and are such a great Hufflepuff." She couldn't help but beam at him, "Always trying to see the good, but my dear Bob didn't just leave on his own. I would have sensed his movements. He was taken from his playpen and I'm going to be certain it was one of the four that have just had their sieve move." She gave them all looks before turning back to the class.
"We are going to hold a semi court hearing and go through what it is really like using this form of Divination in an actual courtroom setting." She began to pace a bit in front of the table. "Now the first thing that we would do is ask the guilty, I mean wrongly accused, questions to have them come clean first."
"One at a time please tell me what happened right before Bob's disappearance and what you were doing." She glanced back towards the class, "You are welcome to ask questions as well. Please ask away to find a hiccup in one of their stories."
OOC: For this part if your charrie has a question please put which person they are asking it to in the title, if it is for all four please just say all four or everyone

Kate blinked. She hadn't expected the sieve to move. She cautiously looked up at Cinna. The girl didn't seem to be hiding a big turtle, and Kate figured the reptile would be crawling out Cinna's bag if he was hiding in there. Cinna also seemed really worried about being accused. Kate decided she believed the older girl.
"It's okay, Cinna," she whispered. "I believe you."

...but then the professor spoke up and pointed out that not one, not two, not three or four, but FIVE students were either guilty or wrongly accused. Now they were going to hold a court, and OH MY GOODNESS...did somebody really take Bob?!
Kate was suddenly even more glad that the sieve didn't move for her. She'd much rather be on the jury than be the accused. She settled back in her seat and waited for court to get underway.
Norah & Adi before the questioning, and we have a question for Janelle

What? What? What? AJ just stared and blinked at Adi for a full minute. Why would he steal a turtle for her? A unicorn, okay, but a turtle? He had to be kidding. This whole thing was a joke. No students took Bob. It was a dirty rotten snake, and not that ones that lived in the dungeon. That was where the Slytherins stayed, no? Okay, so she actually had no idea if it was a snake, but Lux seemed pretty certain of it. "OH MY GOSH... That's so sweet of you." She could play along too. Especially because she knew Adi better than anyone else, and he didn't do this.
The heat was on Norah. For a moment she wondered how long she would be able to hold her breath. Looks like she would never be able to find out because the sieve didn't do anything, and she was breathing like a normal person again. "Yay. Go us." She totally noticed Adi's sieve moving. It was written all over her face. AJ didn't think she was being judgy because that wasn't very Hufflepuff-y. But then...
It was court time, and there were four guilty people. This just showed that something was off. There was no way they were all involved. Heeeey... there was a student from each house. Cool. Or not cool, whatever.
Cassie was asking them questions. Yes, people... talk. Spill it. Give them the 411. Whoever was the turtle thief was going to be hardcore recruited by AJ for her unicorn finding army. Mmmhmm. So while Cassie was asking questions trying to find Bob, AJ was asking them to see who had the better qualities to assist her.
"Janelle... you are the youngest one accused and it's probably safe to say you aren't on the same level magic wise as your accusers. Are you using that to your advantage?" Nobody would expect an innocent second year, right? WRONG. She was a Ravenclaw and that pretty much was equivalent to a fourth year in any other house.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Leave it to AJ to figure out he was joking and play along. Did he ever mention he loved this girl? Yeah, he was sure he did. "Anything for you.'' The sixth year winked. He knew she would want a unicorn more than any other creature though. She would be getting one soon enough.
.....................
Soooo, to the front of the class they went. Zhenya's sieve had apparently moved too. He was certain she hadn't stolen Bob either. Adi knew her and Janelle well and though he wasn't that close to Cinna, he certainly felt she hadn't done anything. Darn faulty sieves! At the front of the class, he flopped down on one of the chairs so that he was facing the class. His eyes found Benny and AJ. At least two persons in this room knew he was innocent.
Why was Professor Cassie giving them that look? Noooooo, Adi felt sad she thought he or anyone of them could be the thief. Okay, him especially. He was CRUSHED! He wasn't a thief, Professor.
Doing his best to ignore his crushed feelings, the Hufflepuff let the girls go first before speaking up. "I was answering your questions, Professor. And just sitting there making notes. When the lights came off I remained where I was.'' It was the truth!
