As you come through the trap door there are a few things you are going to see first. Clouds, many clouds, the room is looking more like you just stepped off a muggle airplane in midair then the divination tower. The room has been charmed to look like you are walking on fluffy clouds. The next thing you will see are big comfy looking bed chairs placed around the room. Big enough to fit at least three people. The calming music and lavender smell will be familiar to all the older students as Professor Cassie wants calm and positive vibes coming into the room.

Professor Cassie is sitting on her own comfy looking bed chair and grinning as you walk into the room. Sipping on her usual peppermint tea. There is plenty for everyone and the front table has tea kettles and cups available. There is a new notice on the board that students should read.

Henric took a moment to sip his tea, his throat was rather parched all of a sudden.Once he had done so, he leaned back to make himself comfortable before flipping through the pages of the book for its meanings and interpretations of his strange yet curious dream.

SPOILER!!: Henric's Dream Interpretation

...........All of these meanings seemed to point him to imminent danger in his future. They didn't sound too good either. Even the lamp-post he dreamt about didn't spare him any light for him to get through this.

Disappointed...he set his book aside, not wanting to search anymore. Instead,he should calm his thoughts while he waited for the rest to finish up with their dream interpretations.

Alrightey then! It was time to interpret this dream as a whole. Obviously it was going to have a morbid meaning. How did Adi feel about this? Well, he was amused about it all now that he had gotten over the dark meanings. No silly dream was going to dominate his life. Nope! He channeled his positive attitude and began to write:

Okayyy... so, he had something to work with. He supposed he would have to try to find some meaning in it all as well. Ugh. Opening his textbook once more, Zeke thumbed through the pages until he came to the list, and then searched alphabetically for what might fit.

Setting her quill down when she'd finished the list Hady stared down at it blankly. What the heck did it all mean? Most of it seemed to contradict the other half. Letting out a sigh of confusion Hady took her parchment and without even thinking she placed it into Zeke's hands. She could handle him seeing it if anyone at all. "Can you make any sense out of that?", she asked quietly with a small lift of her shoulders. Maybe since it wasn't his dream he would see something she didn't.

"Sure," he replied before scanning the list. And my, was it a list. Geez, Hady.

From what he could tell though, it all seemed to be fairly positive, unlike his, his was VERY mixed... this was, more consistent?? "It sounds... good, like, success, good times, love and stuff..." he started his analysis, "the talking part and the darkness part are really your kind of, unknown bits, but the sunshine is good in terms of those troubles leaving you... so, good things will come, but there might be some turbulence at first?" It sounded legit to him.

"Have a look at mine though, how crazy does this sound?" he asked, returning her parchment with his.

He read through the other boy's dream with a small nod. "That's a good analysis, there. Wanna see mine?" He'd have to actually write it out first.... just give him a second.

Write down a recent dream... Were they going to have to share them out loud later too? Henry hoped not as dreams were kind of personal, though maybe one that was amusing or not too embarrassing might come to mind. He thought for a few minutes as he tried to recall a recent one. Dreams were funny that way though. They had a tendency to slip away when one woke up.

He wasn't completely sure if he wanted to work with a partner or not. He took a quick look around and it seemed like most were working alone anyway, though it might make it a little easier if they had to share later on in class. Well, he'd leave himself open if anyone wanted to but for now he'd get started.

Henry already had his book open to page 520 and he sat cross-legged on his bed-chair as he opened up his parchment notebook. A recent dream.. a recent dream.. Henry closed his eyes for a moment, trying to clear his head of any outside distractions. He could think of a recurring dream that was rather scary but it was something that he'd be uncomfortable sharing. Um.. okay he thought he had it and started writing some notes.

Alright so Benny had listened to all the intrepretations that people were picking from the book. The pages he himself had turned to upon direction from Professor Morgan. The seventh year had to admit, quite a few of them seem absurd, at least in their connection to what the image was and what it represented. Take Adi's example...macaroni being a symbol for small losses and Henric's mention of a badger being luck after hardships. Who put together all of these?

That last one he'd have to keep in mind though.

He looked for his own one to give but eventually they were moving on. And on to actually intretating their own dreams. That was going to be...interesting. "Thanks," he said, accepting the offered cookies. Adi seemed to dive head first into working on his dream so Benny he left his best friend to it and set out for his own work. Quill in hand, he leaned back a little in the bed chair as he tried to think back to something, The badger from earlier had been connected to one dream...but he had to remember the dream as a whole. Or another one entirely.

Think Atreyu...think.

Hm. Most of Zeke's analysis sounded legit. The good stuff sounded decent to her and she was pleased. Why wouldn't someone be please when hearing good things? Anyhow like he had mentioned it was the talking bit and the darkness that made her think. Mainly the darkness being as the dream ended with it. "I see your point. Does it matter if the dream ends in darkness or do you think it doesn't make much of a difference?"

Accepting her parchment back from him and set it aside so she could read his. "Sure let's see."

Quickly reading over his info she glanced at him. A dream about waking up with a mouth full of teeth that had fallen out. Sounds a bit uh unpleasant. "Well the only thing here that's crazy is that last bit. Hopefully whatever the good is will overshadow the rest but if for some reason anything happens you can always talk to me." Not much help was she with this but if he needed her she was there for him. Passing Zeke back his notes she gave him a small grin. Things would be okay. So was sure of it.

Ellery kinda lost track for a little bit, because beds + dream analysis = Freud, which made her debate the merits of Freud in her head a little bit. After that, she had a minute of trying to see if anyone needed a partner, then decided to just do it on her own.

What was her dream last night? She vaguely remembered fire and flowers…a garden was on fire?

She wrote that down and embellished it a little bit.

There was a lot of talking, again. Oliver caught the beginning of it, but then it all ran together like blahblahblah and he kind of zones out. Until apparently they had been given instructions because everyone started to do things. Unfortunately Oliver had missed the instructions completely. He glanced at Blaise, hoping his friend would know what was happening again. Luckily for him, the Gryffindor spoke aloud to his quill while doing work, which was very helpful for somebody like Oliver who was not sure what to do. Step one, write down a dream he'd had. Got it.

She paused, then: "Freud would probably say something more about your subconscious. Do you secretly hate me?"

That would be sAD.

Okay. But her dream. Roses "denote that some joyful occasion is nearing, and you will possess the faithful love of your sweetheart" - ???????? Uhm NO?????????? She didn't fancy anyone. Ick.

Freud would say something even more icky.

Oh man. She hadn't signed up for this, oh no. Norah remembered her dreams from the past few nights very clearly, which wasn't too hard because the essence of all of them was exactly the same. Those were not good dreams. NOT. All capitals. Writing about them wouldn't be too difficult if she just had to keep them to herself, but what if they had to share and everybody heard about her dumb baby nightmares? Plus she was already pretty clear on what they meant, and it wasn't anything good. It could almost be considered very very very bad. And scary. And BAD.

She watched Zeke and Hady exchange their not-embarrassing dreams, nodding along at the interpretations as if she was really listening and not just trying to come up with a realistic dream to pretend she'd had. "I'm gonna get a cookie," she announced to nobody in particular. Yes. Okay. That was a noble pastime. She pushed herself up from the bed chair thing and collected a cookie, taking slow, shuffling steps back to her spot. Totally casual. Not stalling or ANYTHING. Deeeefinitely not.

Sitting back and relaxing was not exactly something Daxton wanted to do in a room full of people. In fact, he was a hundred percent certain that his brain would not allow him to do such a thing even if he did want to. So instead, Daxton remained sitting up, hunched forwards slightly over the textbook he was still flipping through. It was some time before he finally sat up and stretched his back out, and considered the task they had been set.

The thing about Daxton's dreams was that he did not want to share any of them. He had very quickly decided that he did not believe dreams could tell the future, unless you were an actual Seer, and those were meant to be quite rare. And what was the likelihood of there being a legitimate Seer in this group of students, let alone more than one? Daxton thought it much more likely that for most, if not all, people in this room, dreams were more telling of the past than they were of the future. Past memories, present headspace too, maybe. And that was why he found himself unwilling to share.

He watched the others for a while, unabashedly craning his neck to try and get a good look at the parchment of the person sat nearest him, to see what kind of thing they were writing down, but Daxton grew bored of this very quickly. Huffing quietly to himself again, Daxton finally resorted to getting his pen (not quill), and scribbling nonsense on his parchment instead, writing meaningless words made out of random letters, his 'notes' eventually devolving into scribbled shapes and then progressing into tiny little doodles. Meanwhile, he thought about some of his more recent dreams, and made a displeased face at his parchment.

It was a good thing he had Ellery, because she knew what was going on. She actually paid attention in class. Though it probably would not have been hard to figure out that they were supposed to interpret dreams, considering that was the point of the class. But Oliver did not always use proper common sense, so he was glad Ellery was there.

"Your whole body," he corrected. That was actually worse than what she'd originally said, so maybe it had not been the best idea to correct her. Oh well, it was already done. And it was only a dream after all. He read hers since she'd read his. Hers was much more normal, but definitely more girly. Who dreamed about a bunch of roses. He looked back down at his book to confirm her interpretation of his dream.

"It doesn't say anything about hats eating people," he pointed out. That would be weirdly specific. There wasn't anything about what it meant to see your sister, but there was an entry about a girl in general. "Uh, it says that dreaming of a girl 'foretells pleasing prospects and domestic joys'." Whatever that meant. So far his dream was weird, so he searched for interpretations of Ellery's dream.

"HA! It says you're in love." Oliver laughed, because the idea was just so ridiculous. That's what roses specifically meant. He looked for the entry about gardens and frowned. "You're going to be FAMOUS! No Fair!" He was happy for his sister, of course, and her impending fame, but he wanted to be famous too.

Norah ate her cookie so slowly that she was sure time would be up by the time she finished. But guess what. It wasn't. She considered just laying back and doing nothing, but Professor Cassie's feelings could get hurt if she thought her students didn't like her activities. She could've written down the dream she'd made up as she spent ages and ages nibbling on her cookie (a fantastic adventure involving a dancing spatula and a cookie disco), but that would count as lying and Norah Kittredge did NOT lie. Well, not unless it was for a very good cause and this didn't really count as that. She was a prefect now anyways, so not-lying was probably the best way. Darn responsibilities made everything so much more difficult, especially since the nightmares had been VERY unprefect-ish. What a life.

With painful slowness, she reached down, pulled out a piece of parchment, and stationed her quill in a ready position. Norah edged to the side of the couch thing, as far as she could get from Zeke and Hady so they couldn't see how dumb her dreams were, and began to write. She outlined each letter so as to take as much time as she possibly could, making each one a little deformed and scribbly so nobody could see it even if they tried. It wasn't the best solution ever, but it had to work.

As soon as she finished writing she stuck the parchment between the pages of her textbook and slammed it shut. That dream was NOT allowed to be her future. She needed another cookie.

The textbook says “To dream that you are naked, foretells scandal and unwise engagements.” He looked at her, raised his eyebrows and chuckled.

Noelle patted the spot beside her as Sabbie scooted closer. He could lay on his stomach and get comfortable with her since they were dream interpreting on a bed and all.

Waterfall?? Noelle put the quill in her mouth and viewed page 520 to figure out what the water fall meant. "What else happened in the dream?" Noelle asked and glances over at Sabbie. She was curious because waterfall and all.

Blushing, Noelle thought about what her dream meant. What was she about to do that was unwise and an arrangement?? Tilting her head, she looked back at her parchment. "Well that just doesn't seem to fit." She told him. Because it didn't.

Well, that was rather underwhelming to say the least. This Divination stuff wasn't legit was it? Paulina was sincerely hoping it wasn't. She let out a loud sigh.

Ignoring her button, she began working out how the interpretation would fit her life because this whole exercise wouldn't make much sense otherwise. She really wished she could find a nice interpretation for the flower that fit her dream, but a clearing wasn't a garden and a huge flower wasn't a bouquet.

Sabbath saw Noelle pat the spot beside her on the bed, so he scooted over closer to her and laid on his stomach shoulder to shoulder with her. He’d tried to reveal as little as possible about his dream but she was asking for more details, so he shrugged and slid his parchment back towards him and continued to write.

Sabbath smirked a little at Noelle’s blush, he could see she was a little confused by the interpretation of her dream. So, to lighten the mood, he gave her a little shoulder bumped, teasing her gently,“Are you planning to cause a scandal, or have an unwise engagement, Nells?” he said with a grin. “I wouldn’t worry too much about the interpretations, our fates are not written” he reassured her.

He changed her focus by sliding his own parchment back to her “Here, I bet mine doesn’t fit either, Do you want to check what it all means?” he said.

Errrrr....? They were meant to remember their dreams? Man, see if Zander had been prepared for this he would've tried to think about it sooner. But there was no way that he could just sit here and remember his past dreams. The boy could hardly even remember what he ate for breakfast this morning. Was it eggs? Or toast? The world would never know. So trying to remember dreams, well, did he even dream last night? It was hard to remember.

He of course did remember some of the more vivid dreams... But he didn't fancy sharing those. Those were private. And he didn't think Professor Morgan would want them to share just everything with the class. 'Cause something are better left in your own head. And Zander Adair thought he deserved snaps just for that little nugget of wisdom. Mhm.

Except, he wasn't sure if he was actually a fan of this whole snapping thing yet. Though it wouldn't matter because soon he wouldn't have to do it all the time... So might as well make the best of it while he had to, right? So snaps for all the ideas... Eh.

Except erm... His own dreams? Well, this would take some more thought.... And when it doubt... He'd just make stuff up. Couldn't be that hard, right?

His thoughts on dreams had gradually swapped from the passing appearance of a badger whose meaning seemed happier by Henric's given meaning, to one that had been more poignant and memorable. One might even call almost nightmarish given Ben's adversion to the creature in question that had appeared within that particular remembered instance. The Gryffindor unconsciously giving a small shiver before shifting to a different position on the chair.

A spider.

There had been a spider in the dream. Albeit a small one. Yet it had been after the acromantuala incident. If anything, the seventh year had figured it was residual from the near-death experiences in the castle with the large creatures. Or even just dealing with his general fear and discomfort of them. But maybe...in the c0ontext of the current lesson...it meant something else. He HAD managed to kill it THIS time around. In the dream. With his focus now being on that, Benny didn't really find much choice but to work with it.

Ethan’s hand automatically went for his plate of biscuits, only to find out that his plate was already empty. Blinking at his parchment, the Slytherin retracted his hand back, and scratched the side of his head. He was definitely missing a detail, yeah?

Mordred was alone in that dream. Like he was…contemplating his life, surrounded by gym equipment. At the bottom of his parchment, Ethan wrote down the details that might shed light on the meaning of his dream.

The details that he wrote down wasn’t in the book, so what Ethan did was to make his own interpretation of his dream’s details. He could be wrong, though. And for the sake of his cousin, he sure hope that he is wrong with this one.

Angel was still working on her dream, there was more to it than what she had said earlier and now she was starting to remember it. Angel looked at what she already had and then she added some more onto it. She had a feeling that this dream would not happen. Well actually she was 90% sure it wouldn't happen because she hadn't known she was a witch back then.

Woah, whaaat?! She had to actually remember and write down her dreams? Yeah.. Olympia wasn't sure she could do that. After all, the third year could barely remember what she had had for breakfast that morning never mind a five minute dream the night before!!
The Gryffindor took a look around the room and saw all her classmates getting on with their notes. Pulling her text book towards her she flicked quickly to the correct page and then grabbed her note book and quill.

Olympia paused.. aaand the flow was gone. That was literally all she could remember. Olympia only ever remembered her dreams if they were REALLY exciting. However, she did find all this 'dream interpreting' rather interesting. She was guessing she had to look up rabbits and baby, along with brother.

Now she had picked her dream. Among of dreams that she remembered, Ava decided to pick this one because it was... weird. Her and Teddy were drinking tea with their father and talked about stuffs... It was like the common thing that they used to do before. Wasn't dream suppose to be a weird stuffs like flying without wings or walk above the water?

Angel decided that it was time to figure out what all this dream actually meant, if she could she would have just wrote that it was all just a child's imagination running wild with itself but she had a feeling the Professor would not like that being written down and she really wanted to do her best in divinations because she actually enjoyed the lessons.
