Upon entering the Divination classroom, the scents of what seems like thousands of flowers assails the senses, and looking around, it seems like the classroom has been overtaken by a florist's shop. Even though the tables from the last lesson are still present, they're surrounded by containers of flowers, and several vases are scattered around as well. Obviously all these flowers had to be transported to Hogwarts from elsewhere, as the weather outside makes it highly unlikely they came from the grounds. Either way, it presents an oddly charming yet unsettling appearance to the classroom, something almost entirely different from the tensions that had been occurring outside, around the castle.
At the front of the classroom, leaning against her usual table, stands Professor Bishop, idly fidgeting with a long-stemmed white rose and looking a bit lost in thought, although she's actually aware of everyone who walks in. Either way, a message on the board states "Make yourselves comfortable, and class will begin shortly."
ooc: Sorry I didn't get this posted earlier, time got away from me and I wasn't able to get online earlier. :/ But feel free to post your entrance, etc., and I'll start the lesson in hopefully around twelve hours. ^.^ Keep the rules in mind regarding chatting, though.

Helena walked towards the Divination classroom, to find it...
... FULL OF FLOWERS! EEEEP!
"Hello, professor," the girl said, as a grin had suddenly appeared on her face. "It looks so pretty!" The pretty flowers! And they were all around the classroom!
After admiring every single flower that she could see, she took a seat, somewhere in the front. She had a feeling that she's going to love this lesson.

Nika skipped to the classroom with a cheerful smile. She was looking forward to the next divination class for the longest time. It was one of the only classes that she would attend given her own choice. She beamed at her professor as she walked into the classroom eagerly. "Hiya Professor Bishop!" Nika spoke in a singsong voice as she looked around the classroom for any hint of what they were going to do for the day. She took a deep breath of the air, "MMMMmm..." It smells so good in here. Perhaps it was all of the flowers that were lined up all about the classroom. But what did divination have to do with flowers?

Eino entered what he thought to be the Divination classroom, but he had to double check. It wasn't until he saw Professor Bishop through all the flowers that it was confirmed that he was indeed in the Divination classroom, and not in a greenhouse. Although, there was a greenhouse in the class. Eino didn't mind. In fact, anything that was related, even in the smallest ways, to Herbology would be beneficial to him. He waved hello to the Professor as he passed by her, and finally took a seat. Before unpacking the essentials, he looked around the room, examining and trying to identify the flowers. This was definitely a pleasant sight, considering it was rare due to the snow. After a few moments lost in though, he finally unpacked his textbook, quill, parchment, and ink.

Kurumi walked in and instantly checked her schedule to make sure that she was supposed to have Divination and not Herbology. Nope, she had written Divination in purple on her parchment, so she was in the right place - unless Professor Bishop and Bentley had decided to play some sort of practical joke on all the students.
"Good day, Professor," she smiled as her eyes darted around the classroom trying to make sense of it all.
Kurumi made her way to the front of the classroom and set her things down on the table and simply stood there observing Professor Bishop for a while. Divination by flowers? That seemed like the most likely course the class would take. Kurumi knew a bit about the language of flowers, since her mother had INSISTED that she learn the art of flower arranging from a young age, but she wasn't so sure that the same principles applied to using flowers in divination...or maybe it did. Perhaps using an Azalea implied that one was very shy.
Smiling at Professor Bishop, Kurumi took her seat in the front and began setting her things out on her desk.

Where am I again?
Salander stops short by the entrance and does a double take at classroom. He looks up to check the door and the corridor-- yeah he should be at Divinations alright, his racing heart knows that at least he's clambered up seven floors.
So why does it look like he's walked into a flower shop?
He walks in a little cautiously, already starting to feel his nose starting to itch. He then makes a beeline for the windows and settles down onto a seat next to it. Glancing up at the Professor he couldnt help but smile slightly, she was a lovely woman, but the flowers just added a bit more to that romantic touch.
Now if he could only keep himself from sneezing the petals off of every flower within arms length.....
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
'Good day, Professor', Gwen greeted as she walked in. For the first time, the girl took a seat somewhere in the back of the class. I hope this class will be over soon, she kept repeating to herself.
The young Ravenclaw tried to remember what they talked about in the last Divination lesson. No idea...
"Hey, professor."
Janice entered the class, which looked more like a greenhouse.
"Uhm, I'm really hoping that we are not going to do divination on bush daisies. I'm highly allergic to them..."
She scanned the room for bush daisies.

She was going to get old walking up these stairs...
Yet, she finally made it, stopping on the top step before eying the divination classroom door. She really hated this class. Sighing heavily, the Slytherin girl dragged her feet to the lesson anyway, hoping there at LEAST be some tea. Evelyn could go for a good cup of tea right now.
Although, the sudden warmth and smell had her eyes widening and stopping just before she could go find a table. Oh...no. If there was anything worse than the lesson itself to make her sleepy, it was the scent of flowers in a warm room. Good Merlin...she wasn't going to make it. "Good day, professor." she muttered, moving to the back table...in the back. Way...in the back.
Well she wasn't going to be falling asleep in the front!
Selina walked into the classroom yawning very widely. She had been up all night the previous day tossing and turning in anticipation for the newest Divination lesson. Kurumi had once told her that if the class was too difficult for her that she should just stay away from the entire ordeal. But there was no pride in backing down from a hard fight. Sure she was scared, she woke up everyday scared that it was her last day of true living, but part of her always told her to come. To make her way down to this classroom and force herself to learn- Bishop would be upset if she didn't.
So she treked into the classroom and smiled at Bishop, "Good," yawn, "morning Professor."
Then she moved and took her usual seat beside Kurumi at their table. Another lesson had begun.

Chasing Maleficent away from the trapdoor, Thea entered the tower room, patting down her hair. Immediantly, the strong scent of all the flowers hit her. Blinking a few times, Thea smiled. It looked pretty in the room! Wandering in further, she waved happily to Professor Bishop. 'Good morning, Professor Bishop!' she called cheerily. 'I like you rose, it's very pretty.' She smiled as she wandered off to fnd a table.
Heading towards a table near the front of the class, Thea placed her bag down beside her chair and she settled herself down. Reaching out her finger, she touched the soft petals of one of the flowers. The smell hit her quickly, and smiling gently she sat back to wait for the lesson to begin.

Simon walked into the classroom and then he nearly fainted, well at least he knew how he had got 8 points for his homework, it was because Professor Bishop had lost her mind, and Simon was sure it was his fault but he didn't know what to do to help her get her mind back so said. "Good day Professor Bishop."
Presley danced into the Divination room to see flowers, everywhere. She inhaled deeply, enjoying the scent. "Hello, Professor," she greeted her teacher. Presley took a seat near William, and smiled at him. "Mind if I sit here?"

Simon headed up to the divination classroom from the common room, glad Gryffindor tower made it a bit closer to walk. He sniffed as he neared the room, a strong....flowery smell permeating and as he finally entered the room he could see exactly why that was.
Looks more like a Herbology class, he mused to himself as he entered furtherand looked around, the boy almost not spotting Professor Bishop up front amongst the flowers surrounding her. "Good day Professor," he greeted before catching sight of her instructions and moving to take a seat at one of the tables.

" I would be overjoyed if you sat with me" Willaim told Presley. " Just do not embarass me too much because you are smarter than me" Wiliam teased Presley laughing.

Seeing her room-mate sitting down already, Penny walked over to Niss, she said..."Hi Niss, mind if I sit here?", indicating the seat beside her...

Upon entering what she thought was the Divination classroom, Ariadne was startled by her surroundings. So many flowers! For a moment, the girl seriously believed she had somehow reached the greenhouses instead, but was brought back to reality by the ridiculousness of the thought. Ah, and there was the professor! So this was indeed the right place.
'Good day, Professor Bishop!' the little Gryffindor greeted. Her curiosity prompted the next question: 'What are we going to do with all these flowers?'
Jai entered into his Divination for class, greeting his teacher as he did so,"Good morning Professor." He went straight to a table to sit. It was a little tricky maneuvering around that many flowers in pots and vases but he made it to a table.
Sam walked in, he looked around the room and found a seat near the back. He got all his stuff out and was ready to rock and roll. He was in a good mood today and actually felt like trying in class today.
Ariella entered the Divination classroom. Flowers?! Her mood was instantly brightened and a smile spread across her face. She loved flowers!
"Good day, Professor Bishop!" She greeted the professor happily, and then took her seat in the front. She slung her black bag on the back of her chair and took out all of her supplies, eyeing the flowers and the professor out of the corner of her eye. She was curious as to what was going to happen with the vases beyond vases of flowers.
Louisa had her bag slung on her shoulder, her jet-black hair into a ponytail and her shirt's sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She was in a good mood today, unusually this year, and she actually smiled broadly at the sight of flowers and vases in the classroom. In another mood, she'd just scoff but not today.
"Good day, Ms. Bishop." She inclined her head at the swooningProfessor with the white flower in hand. Did someone give it to her that she clung to it so closely? Probably not, guys weren't into teacher women. That was what her aunt always said anyways. Besides, she didn't even know a thing about Bishop so she might as well shut her thinking mind and take a seat somewhere.
replies worked into the post, individual for some, but she greeted everyone *nods*

And she did.
As the students started filtering in, Renée subtly made note of their reactions to the room before giving them all a smile. "Thank you Helena, William, Thea, Penny," she replied, indicating those who had commented on the flowers with her rose before setting it down on the table behind her as she stopped leaning against it. "I don't believe we have any bush daisies here, Janice, but we can never be sure, so kep your eyes out," she continued, her glance landing on the Hufflepuff girl looking around the room before also including Salander by the window. "If you think you may have problems, I'm perfectly open to you both using a Bubblehead Charm so as not to have an allergic reaction. You too, Evelyn, unless you'd just like to move over by the window like Salander did," she continued, smiling at the Slytherin girl hiding in the back as usual. She had a feeling her issue would be more falling asleep, but she was going to try to not bore her.
"Anyway, good morning to all of you, and why don't we get things started?" Especially as Ariadne had already moved on to questions regarding the topic of the lesson. It was hopefully going to answer her question, at least. There wasn't really a way around it. "How many of you have heard of the concept of floromancy, or floriography? Can anyone give me an explanation of what it might involve?," she went on to ask, moving around the room slightly, being careful to not hit any of the containers in the room. It wouldn't harm much, but she wanted them to have as many choices as they could later on.

Simon had no idea what was going on with the Professor. "Is it anything to do with Films that have flowers in?" He hadn't heard of the saying before. "I'm not sure but I think it is something to do with it."
Louisa had a parchment and a Quill set in front of her on the desk. Her eyes followed the professor as she wandered about in the room.
As soon as the girl heard the term, her hand shot into the air, but before that a boy spoke up about.....
0_0 Films About flowers?
She giggled and sent a Nice-One look toward him before she raised her hand againand spoke, "I happen to come across this term when I was reading a book about Victorian England.." Nobody's showing off here, ahem, ".. And it was saying that it's believed that flowers do radiate energy.. or radiations-" Duuuh!"-And they would get buds of flowers and nurse them real well and write the names of a couple on them and wait for the to grow. If a flower twined the other, then the couple are blessed and would be married if not.." Errr...".. the book didn't go there." She finished lamely.
