The brisk air coming through the open windows of the classroom left it a bit chilly, but not enough to be a distraction. A student's uniform black cloak or grey jumper should easily keep one warm enough throughout the lesson. The usual purple mats and small trays that the Professor has replaced from the chairs and desks were seen lined up in rows, much like they were in the previous lessons, while the light streaming in through the windows and sounds of birds singing as they flew by gave the classroom a Spring-like atmosphere. Professor Romanos herself was leaning against one of the farther windowsills, enjoying the warmth of the sun's rays while waiting for the students to arrive.
OOC: Class has officially started! Please don't RP your character arriving late, or risk losing points. Just pretend as if they've been here the entire time and jump in with the lesson.
Daisy continued to practice, moving her wand the right way and muttering under her breath, something that helped her concentrate and took her mind off the rest of the class, who were being quite noisy considering they were all trying to do the spell too. 'Verdimillious...' she said, moving her wand in a circular motion, it's tip pointed at the chest. A little green orb formed, and without even having to think about it, Daisy made a slashing movement with her wand and the orb flew towards the chest, landing amongst the other orbs the class had casted. She grinned, preparing to cast the spell again.

Oh so that was why the Gryffindor was bowing back? Heh, it was cute though. Daichi grinned at the younger girl as she explained why she had bowed to him. It would have made sense in her eyes perhaps but to Daichi it had just been weird... and funny. "No, i bowed in apology... " he smiled and decided to give her the quick version on the difference between greeting and apologizing. "A greeting bow is a quick one while an apology bow last longer" Yup, the quick version.
Luckily, she seemed to smile about it but Daichi frowned when she turned away , not looking at him. And...did he hear a giggle? Hehehe. He was going to leave her alone now because he didn't want to make her feel embarrassed.
Raising his wand for another round of practise, Daichi heard the Professor's voice coming from the back of the room saying they had a few minutes left. He rotated his wand above his head and said "Verdimillious!" The wand gave a bright green color and as Daichi was sure the orb was big enough he slashed his wand down and the traveling green light hit the chest at the front. YEAH! TWO HITS IN A ROW!

Verdimi-li-ous. No, but it sounds like I'm getting closer to the correct one. Verdimil-ous. Almost got it. Verdimilious. Yes that's it." He then looked up and saw that nothing was happening. He tried again, but his voice a bit louder. "Verdimilious." Still nothing was happening. Then he said in a loud voice (it isn't to loud like someone's inside voice.) "Verdimilious." When he looked up a green ball started to form. He then did the next motion, and the green orb went flying. It was heading straight for Alyssa. He said "Watch out Alyssa."
Alyssa quickly turned when she heard someone yell out her name and saw a green orb headed for her. She only had a second to think and quickly turned sideways. Barely in time for the orb to skim by past her. She waved over at Nate who had yelled out the warning. "I'm okay, Nate.". Even though Nate had been the one who had accidentally sent the orb her way, it was her fault for walking around. So Alyssa decided that she needed to stop doing that and to work on casting that spell.
So she crouched down and looked at the barely visible chest in front of her. "It's me and you now!!" Alyssa closed her eyes and took deep breaths to clear her mind. Then she concentrated on the spell and what she wanted it to do. She mouthed the incantation "VERDIMILLIOUS". Okay now she was ready.
She got up from her crouching position and stood staring at the chest. She looked around to make sure that no one was standing nearby, because she knew that this time the spell she was going cast was going to be strongest. She had the determination. She had the capability...to make the world's fastest and most powerful Revealing Spell EVER!!.
She took out her wand and lifted it up over her head. As she moved her wand in a circular motion, she said "VERDIMILLIOUS" and looked up and saw a green orb form. Now that she was certain that the orb was there, she swung her wand round and round overhead, concentrating all her energy on that one green orb. When she felt the timing was right, she made a downward slash, flicking the orb at the chest.
The orb flew from her wand and headed straight for the chest. It had the power to reach it and it did. It hit the chest straight on!! A green light enveloped the chest and when it disappeared, the image of the chest was now more visible. Definitely now more visible than it was a few seconds ago. "YES!!" Alyssa punched the air in triumph.

In all honesty, Kurumi hadn't really looked at her surroundings yet and had been more focused on getting her movements down and practicing the incantation to really look.
She then looked over and saw a younger Ravenclaw student looking very frustrated with herself. It was a feeling that the prefect knew all to well herself. "Probably because you are getting frustrated," she said calmly as she walked over to the girl with a soft smile on her lips. "It is only natural, to get frustrated, but it can prevent us from performing spells because it gets in the way of our intent. Try to relax a bit and you'll get there eventually." It wouldn't be horrible if she didn't master the spell this lesson either. She was a student, they all were, and everyone's learning curve was different.
Lily noticed when a girl started talking to someone, and then Lily realized that the girl was talking to her. Looking around, the ravenclaw made eye contact with the older girl, a prefect... Lily could see the badge. "Ok... thank you for the help." Lily grinned. All she had to do was relax a bit and then try again. Hopefully then it would work.
Once she had calmed down, she tried again. Make a circle...while saying the incantation... and then flick. After a couple of tries, Lily managed to make the little orb though her flick wasn't all that accurate and it flew way over the trunk, hitting the wall behind. But the ravenclaw was happy because she had managed to produce the orb and even managed to launch it, even though it was off target.

Ella was getting slightly frustrated as her orb was showing up but never going where she directed it to. She once again raised her wand above her head doing the lasso motion. "Verdimilious!" She looked up, noting that the green orb had successfully appeared, and then tried to send it once again at the chest. This time the orb seemed to be moving in exactly the right direction. "Yes...go go go...please!" Ella said excitedly, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Her excitement was extinguished when at the last second, the orb stopped! Just stopped in front of the chest, no rhyme or reason why. "Wha-?" Ella just did not understand. "You have it out for me, don't you?" She said to her wand, frowning.

Having moved to the back of the room, she'd found a spot where she had a decent view of the chest. In fact, after a few more moments, she could see the chest itself. Their spell work was getting better by the second and so was their aim.
"Hold your fire everyone!" she smiled, waving her hand to signal them to stop. "You all seem to be getting the hang of this spell, which is brilliant, so let's bring it up to another level shall ve? The next spell is Verdimillious Duo. It has the exact same vand movement, however, there are some slight changes. When casting Duo and Tria, you are to draw out the casting a bit more. Say the incantation and wave your vand slower than you vould vith Verdimillious. Once you get that down, unlike the green light you saw, Verdimillious Duo vill create a red light, so don't be surprised if you manage it."
"This spell is a little tougher to accomplish, and I don't expect everyone to get it on the first try. That'd be completely fine if you didn't." Just to make that clear. "Again, I'd like you to aim for the chest, and this spell vill not hurt. If you're hit or it lands near you, you may just feel a little varmth, but that is all. Seeing as all the green orbs have disappeared now, you can start practicing again. Feel free to continue practicing Verdimillious if you'd like to, but if you're comfortable vith the spell already, go ahead and move on to Duo."

Alyssa listened as the Professor told them how to perform the more advanced spell of Verdimillious, which was Verdimillious Duo. She listened carefully. The Professor told them what the wand movements were. It would be almost the same as the first only slower and more drawn out and tha the orb would be red instead of green but she didn't say anything about the incantation. Was it still VERDIMILLIOUS or was it VERDIMILLIOUS DUO? Alyssa scratched her head, not knowing what to do.
So she raised her hand and asked. "Uh Professor, do we still use the same incantation or do we add a duo at the end of it?"

was a rather good question. One that she didn't cover. Keeping the students on their toes! "Surprisingly, there is in fact a 'duo' at the end of the incantation." she nodded. "Verdimillious Duo. Just like it's name. And when ve get to the third and final spell, it'll be the same with Tria added to the incantation."

Alyssa nodded. "Thank you, Professor. Now we know what the incantation for this and the next spell is going to be." 'Cool we get to practise all three spells,' Alyssa thought to herself. Alyssa first practised the incantation. "VERDIMILLIOS DUO...VERDIMILLIOUS DUO...VERDIMILLIOS DUO"...since she just needed to add the DUO in this time, it really wasn't hard to remember. It was just the wand movement that was going to be a little bit trickier.
Alyssa concentrated on what she wanted the spell to do and how she wanted it done. Then she raised her wand above her head and said, "VERDIMILLIOUS DUO" and moved it around just like she did with the earlier spell, only this time she did it slower and more drawn out like as if she was making a larger circle in her lasso. As she moved her wand, she looked up and saw a reddish orb form. 'Okay we got the color, now concentrate really hard on what you want the spell to do, Lyssie.' Alyssa thought to herself.
Alyssa looked at the chest as she moved her waved her wand overhead, focussing on where she wanted the orb to go. When she felt she was ready, with a downward slash and a flick, she released the orb. The red orb flew and landed plop a few feet just shy of the chest. "Shoot!! Oh well practise makes perfect." Alyssa told herself.

Kurumi ceased her practicing to look at the younger Ravenclaw and offered her a small smile. It was always hard, failing that is. Especially when you had such high goals and expectations for yourself. Kurumi had been that way, still was actually. Watching as the Ravenclaw performed the spell again, the prefect's smile widened and she offered the girl a soft golf clap. "See, there you go."

Before he could shout a warning, the Prefect luckily moved out of its range and he smiled in relief.
Only to get the shock of his life again when he heard a yell followed by his name.
Daichi lowered his wand as he had tried to practise the spell again and quickly rushed over towards the small girl. "I-i-i'm sorry!" he apologized the moment he got to her and Kurumi who was already there as well. "I'm really sorry!" he bowed, holding his head down longer than normal in the form of apology. "Are you hurt?"

So she again said, "I'm good now.. It was just kind of grazed my nose and flew away.." she said pointing to the orb that was... somewhere. "You aren't hurt, are you?" she whispered.
And then she thought that she had better get back to the spell-work, and maybe, just maybe take a small revenge on Daichi, no?
Removing such thoughts from her mind, she went back to practicing.
Dusting off her robes a bit more, Kurumi turned her attention to Ira and temporarily pocketed her wand. "I'm perfectly alright, besides a bit of dust," she confirmed. Really, nothing to be worried about and she had her eyes drift to Daichi to let him know that everything was alright. Even if the spell had hit her, it wasn't going to do much damage if any.
She smiled at Daichi for a moment before removing her wand again. "Although, this would make for a fun game, if you think about it. All of us running around in a dark room with only Verdimillious to try and find people." Sort of sounded like fun. Maybe she could convince Professor Romanos to hold such an event some time....
Speaking of the spell, she needed to do some more practicing before they had to move on, especially since Professor Romanos' posture was indicating that they would be moving along soon. Drawing circles over her head again, the Gryffindor's head snapped around and her violet eyes narrowed on the chest.
3...2...1....
"Verdimillious!" she chirped, making a sharp yet fluid forward slashing movement. Her green orb shot forward and hit the chest right smack in its middle. YAY!

And just in time as it was time for the lesson to move on. Kurumi's gaze shifted towards the Groundskeeper, wondering just was sort of role he would have this lesson. Moving target, perhaps?
Idly twirling the wand in her fingers, Kurumi listened as Professor Romanos explained the next steps and the prefect took a deep breath. Tougher meant more concentration which meant...well...she was going to get more exhausted due to all the spellcasting she had already been doing. She was already feeling sort of tired from all the concentration it took to cast Verdimillious...and she assumed that Verdimillious Duo required, well, double the concentration.
Slower movements...more drawn out....got it. Kurumi raised her wand above her head and trace a circle in the air. A nice BIG one...maybe bigger than was really necessary, but she was losing track of just how big she was making it as she made her movements very very slow. "Verdimillious....Duo..." Her wand came down in a slower slashing motion.
Kurumi knew the moment she saw the orb out of the corner of her eye that something was a bit off. That was to be expected though as this spell was advanced and not even seventh years would be able to get it right on the first try. Her orb...was not red...or was ORANGE and it was hardly an orb at all but rather a smokey mass. The orb flew threw the air, making an arched run of it and doubling back like a boomerang. MEEP! Kurumi was back on the floor again, avoiding her own spell this time, and the orange mass hit the wall behind her and covered the entire immediate area in a think orange fog.
OOPS...

Concentrating hard, Jory cast the next spell. "Verdimillious Duo!" he said making his wand movements this time more slower and drawn out. Glancing up, the Puff was pleased to see a red orb had been formed.
Keeping the chest as the target in his mind, Jory gave his wand a downward swish and flick. The orb flew threw the air toward the chest, however, it missed the chest altogether and flew inches over it instead.

Amelia stopped in the middle of raising her wand again when the Professor spoke up again. They were moving on to the second spell, and she was pretty sure that she could accomplish this one now that she had some practice with the first one.
Raising her wand over her head, she made her circular movement slower so that it was more drawn out. "Verdimillious Duo!" She sent the red orb flying towards the chest with the downwards slashing movement, and watched it hit the chest.
She jumped up and down now, having gotten it with the first try.

Ella listened as Professor Romanos explained that they would be moving on. She was a little upset that her green orb had never actually hit the chest directly, but it had always come close...that was something.
Holding her wand out, Ella began to make the same movement as she had before, only this time more slowly. Then, with a glance in the chests direction, Ella said the incantation. "Verdimillious Duo!" She looked at her wand and was surprised to see the glow of a red orb there. "Wicked." Though when she went to move her wand to send the orb towards the chest, the orb vanished. "Wha-?!" That was very strange. Ella scratched her head but dismissed what had happened. The Professor hadn't expected them to get it on the first try anyway. At least the orb had appeared.
Laura looked at both Professor. "I'll run the class for you Professor if you want to talk to the other Professor." Laura thought that she would be good at that and hoped the Professor would agree, though she hoped that the other Professor knew what he was getting himself into.

Violet snapped out of her day dream and quickly looked around to see what everyone else was doing. So they were doing a spell called Verdimillious Duo. Violet had no idea what the spell was going to do the chest after she casts it, but she practiced with the wand movement first. It was rather difficult seeing how most of her classmates kept hitting something else or missed the chest completely. After practicing for a few minutes she was ready for the actual spell. Copying her classmates, she made a circular motion above her head and cried out, "Verdimillious Duo!" Nothing happened. "VERDIMILLIOUS DUO!" Violet hadn't meant to shout, but it seemed to work. A red orb now appeared at the tip of her wand. Violet sent the orb flying toward the chest, but the red orb just hovered over the chest then disappeared.
O__O
What just happened? Violet shook her head in disbelief. It was harder than she thought it was. Maybe she should try the first spell first before doing this one. It was Verdimillious right? Violet made the same wand motion. "Verdimillious!" A green orb appeared at the tip of her wand and she sent it flying toward the chest in the middle of the room again. This time the orb struck the chest really hard and Violet swore she saw the chest shift slightly or maybe it was because of all the spells of green and red flying everwhere. Nevertheless, it made Violet proud to have achieved at least something out of the two spells.

Alyssa decided that it was time for her to cast the Verdimillious Duo spell again. But before she did that, she first thought through how she was going to do it. She closed her eyes and visualized the chest in front of her and how the red orb would fly from her wand hitting it. She concentrated on what she was supposed to do with the wand movements and what the incantation for the spell was.
Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes and raised her wand over her head and said "VERDIMILLIOUS DUO" as she began to make circular motions. She slowly drew out the circles like she would do when she was making a huge circle with her rope. She looked up and saw the red orb forming. She slowly moved her wand around and around over her head as she concentrated on the spell and focused on her target, which was the chest
When she felt that she was ready to unleash the spell, she moved her wand in a downward slash and in a flicking motion released the orb. The red orb flew towards the orb but missed it by mere inches and hit the wall behind it. Alyssa sighed but she wasn't going to give up. She would try casting the spell again.

Now that both Kurumi and Ira were fine, Daichi bowed one last time and moved back to his old spot at the back of the room while avoiding the rays of green light. Hey, he hadn't been a Slytherin Chaser for nothing! One of the things he was good in was dodging.
After hearing the Professors voice saying they were going to add the level up. His wand was still in his hand and as she was done speaking he turned to look at the slightly visible chest.
Raising his wand above his head, the Slytherin circled it around slower than before. And as he circled it, he concentrated on the spell. "Verdimillious Duo!" he shouted and looked up at his wand to find no source of any kind of light.
Knowing it hadn't worked, Daichi tried again. This time he tried to concentrate even better. He visioned a orb of red light in his minds eye and as he circled his wand above his head for another try, shouted "Verdimillious Duo!" and looked back up to see a faint pink light rotating above his head.
That wasn't right....right? He turned to look at the other students and some of them had pure red light. Sighing, Daichi lowered his wand and the spell broke off. What was he doing wrong? Maybe he should ask the Professor?
Naaah, just try again and see what happens~ With the third try his orb of pink light didn't get any brighter as did on the fourth. The fifth try there wasn't even a orb of light!. This was frustrating him to no end and he huffed loudly and stomped his feet on the ground. "Why won't you work?!" He shouted in the back of the class, eyeing his wand before circling it over his head again.

Goodness, Medea almost laughed. "Oh, no, Miss Hyde." No no no. "It's quite alright. I can multitask you know. Just keep practicing. I have yet to see you try this one." Smiling at the Hufflepuff girl, she turned to keep an eye on the rest of the class as well.

A smokey orange mass up at the front of the class was a bit concerning, but nevertheless, no harm done so far. Maybe not from the orbs themselves, though the shouting could have done damage to anyone's eardrums. "Mister Katharos." she said, tearing her gaze away from the orange mess as she moved towards the Slytherin boy. Will deal with that later if it was still around...
"Perhaps, try not to be so forceful vith it. Do you like animals?" She didn't wait for him to reply. "Think of this as your favorite animal, and you're trying to train it. You von't get very far by shouting at it vill you? It takes time and patience. This is indeed a complicated spell and requires concentration but...if you take a deep breath and let it do it's part, you'll surely have the results you're looking for."
Oh boy the other two Nate thought. So he did the motion again. While spinning his wand above his head a green orb appeared at the tip of his wand. While doing the slashing motion he said "Verdimilious duo!" The orb of light shot off of the wand. It almost hit somebody else, but it missed. It started to go straight. Then it turned and it vanished.

Maybe not right away, but soon enough.
Lowering his wand as he heard his last name, which usually meant a Professor was speaking to him, he turned to look at the orange mass and wondered who had done that. But there was no time in investigating the source of the orange smoke as the Professor now stood near him.
If he liked animals? WHATKINDOFQUESTIONWASTHAT?! of course he did~! Well... only one. No offence to the other animals but ducks were and will always be his second family. "I'm Duck Boy!" he therefore said with a smile before realising what he had said and his cheeks flashed red like it always did when he got embarrassed. "I mean, i like ducks!" he quickly said and scratched his head.
So he had to be patient with the spell? Like training a ducky? HOWWASHESUPPOSETODOTHAT?! he had never even trained an animal before!. He just simply ...tried to pick the duck up at the pond and would have hidden it in the dormitory. But Kurumi and that other Gryffindor Prefect happened and he was dragged to that man standing right there...
His dark brown eyes looked over at Mr.Murdoch for a second before looking back. "I guess you're right , Professor" he said slowly before he nodded his head. "Okay, i'll try"
He rose his wand in the air, circled it around his head. His face was contorted in utmost concentration as he shouted "Verdimillious Duo!" and looked up to see the same pink light...but this time it was a little darker... as if it was trying to make a red orb but simply couldn't before it died out again. "Hmpf"

Ella decided to try again, hoping this time her red orb wouldn't vanish. She closed her eyes, trying to clear her mind so she could focus on the spell. Alright El, you can do this. Just concentrate... Raising her wand, Ella made the lasso motion and said, "Verdimillious Duo!" The red orb had appeared as it did before and seemed slightly stronger than last time. "Okay, now to send it towards the chest..." Ella made the slashing motion and the red orb moved slightly but only to the floor directly in front of her. "Oh Merlin." Ella said, shaking her head. She took a deep breath and then closed her eyes again, trying to focus.

After a couple more attempts at the spell, Gideon had improved in his control of the green orbs they were all casting. The 5th year even managing to get his own orb to hit the base of the chest. About to cast once more, he paused as Professor Romanos called for their attention once more. A slightly different...stronger spell was next on the agenda for the lesson and he paid attention as it was taught.
Now he only had to decide if he was satisfied with his previous spell and ready to move on. 'Verdimillious...' he cast one last time for practice sake, circling his wand once above his head before sending it off to the chest once it was formed and ready. It hit the chest once more showing Gideon he was probably done for now. There....now to move on.
The new spell sounded the same other then the added three-letter word at the end. Duo and tria....two and three he believed which seemed like degrees of difficulty on the original spell. "Verdimillious Duo...Ver-dimillious Du-o...Ver-di-mil-lious Du-o," he mused quietly, his wand safe at his side as he got the incantation right. He slowed it down as directed so he would be more likely to remember to draw it out. When Gideon felt he was ready to give it an actual try, he took a deep breath and raised his wand above his head.
"Ver-di-mil-li-ous Du-o" the Gryffindor cast, his wand hand moving in a slow, drawn out circle as he spoke the incantation. A reddish brown orb started to form but as he want to throw it, it faded causing him to frown. Obviously not quite right.

Nerida still recovering from her sister's attack had to keep telling Sarassi that she was fun. It was nothing like a spell to hit you in the face to get you going. She had tried Verdimillious a couple more times and hit the cheast, 2 times in a row. Hearing the Professor saying they would be trying Verdimillious Duo, she began to do the wand movements and said Verdimillious Duoo! Nothing happened. Trying again she said it slower Verdimillious Duo! This time a redish color..more brownish red orb apperared, it was windilying, fading, when it disappered Nerida glared at her wand and took a deep breath. Immediatly after giving her wand a glare she started the incantation and the wand movement Verdimillious Duo! This time a more apparent red orb apperared, she then did the slashing movement it went a little in front of her but then landed on the ground...
Hades puffed up his cheeks while looking at other students now attempting Verdimillious Duo. He didn't even got a proper hold of the basic ones and he was wise enough not to try the Duo without mastering the first one first. Therefore, he shall continue practising Verdimillious. Just Verdimillious.
After taking a deep breath and focusing on the spell, he made a circular motion above his head with his wand while muttering "Ver-di-mill-lious..." And as the green orb finally took form, he slashed-flicked (kind of) his wand vertically, aiming for the chest which started to be more visible. Again, Hades' spell only hit the edge of the chest before it hit the wall and dispersed. "Good Lord!" he groaned angrily. His aim wasn't good enough. Never mind... Practise makes perfect!
Daisy smiled, glad she had got the knack of the first spell now they were onto the next, unlike some people in the classroom, it seemed. She raised her wand, muttering the incantation again, knowing it would probably take a couple of tries to get the spell right, but from the look of her fellow third-year, Daichi, who was talking about ducks. Normal... But she couldn't really complain, thought Daisy, raising her wand and getting into the 'spell zone'
'Verdimillious Duo,' she said, moving her wand in a similar way to last time, but making her lassoo shape larger. Not much happened.
'Verdimillious Duo,' she said again, doing the movement bigger, and faster. A reddish orb appeared, but it wasn't great. Daisy scowled at her wand and cleaned it a little with her sleeve, as though that would make a difference.
'Concentrate...' she muttered, hoping nobody would hear, 'don't look at anyone else, focus on the spell.' She raised her wand again...
'Verdimillious Duo.... Yes!' She grinned, moving her wand and watching the red orb form. With a slashing movement, she sent it in the right direction..
